    Cute vending art machine!
    Kat L.

Super cute stationery spot. Lots of variety and they had an art vending machine perfect for scrapbooking or junk journaling!

I love coming to this little slice of heaven on Fillmore st. I've been coming for yrs now here and there and I truly love the cards and other items they carry at this beauty location. A lot of the items are artist based so there's always something new or unique to get. As alsways the people that work at this location are amazing anytime I've enquired about items I'm curious about they always answer my questions and put me on to amazing artist and makers.

Stopped by for the mini print vendor machine launch party! I got 5 prints by Anastasia Inciardi, including the monarch butterfly, farfalle, and trollius. This woman owned gift shop offers bright colorful items from charming cards and candles to thoughtful SF souvenirs. It's a great spot to find something special!

I forgot how much I love this little store in the Fillmore. I had to go because they have the cutest little print vending machine and I needed some cute mini prints! I was relieved that they had quarters if you don't bring any with you. They have the cutest little items and paper goods. The staff might be the sweetest friendliest folks in the neighborhood. If you are in the area, you must pay this shop a visit!

    Such cuteness!

Small cute shop filled with cute things that would make great gifts. Or just a gift you buy for yourself. Quick browse as it's such a small store, and a bit cramped. Bright, clean and the staff was friendly and polite. Stationary, small candles, cards, and other little things. Felt like a place to find something that you don't "need" but that will bring you joy.

Support local! Was walking around the Fillmore and had to stop by the sidewalk shop! Such colorful gifts. I fell in love with these sheer socks by Poketo. Right now they have limited hours 12-3pm on certain days but I would love to come back when the actual store is open. up with hand sanitizers available. Such cute gift items like notebooks and even masks. Was on their IG page and the story behind the female woman running this place is inspiring too. Support her! She cares about the local community with donations to charities and everything.

Such a cool shop. Great selection of cards and gifts, and the staff is very personable. Would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the neighborhood!

Cute store with lots of options to buy colorful and unique gifts. The items are thoughtfully curated. I found lots of products from AAPI small businesses which I thought was really cool. They even gift wrap for free which is a nice perk!

The pagoda, koi ponds, and traditional buildings make for beautiful photos, and it's a peaceful place to walk. That said, I couldn't shake the feeling that it just wasn't worth the price... Admission was $15, and I was completely through the garden in about 30 minutes without rushing. Later, I walked across the street to the San Francisco Botanical Garden, which also cost $15, and spent hours exploring. The size, variety, and overall experience weren't even comparable. I also stopped at the tea house. There was a line just to order, and while the matcha and snacks were good, they weren't exceptional. Paying over $10 for a cup of matcha felt steep, and the food didn't justify the wait or the price. I tried the matcha, dorayaki, dango, onigiri, and mochi. Everything was enjoyable, but nothing memorable enough that I'd come back for it. If you're trying to decide how to spend your time in Golden Gate Park, I'd skip the Japanese Tea Garden entirely. Instead, visit the Botanical Garden and then find one of San Francisco's many excellent Japanese cafés or bakeries for matcha and snacks. You'll get a much better experience for about the same amount of money. The Japanese Tea Garden is pretty, but for me it felt more like a quick photo stop than a destination. At $15, I expected a lot more.

What I admire most is the institution's mission to make science tangible, accessible, and genuinely fun. The exhibits invite curiosity instead of demanding expertise, which makes them just as engaging for adults as they are for children. Every visit reminds me that science belongs to everyone.
