One of my favorite gift shops in Japantown! Boutique yet also accessible. Great items for friends and family. It includes San Francisco-related items as well as cats! The owner is very friendly and helpful and attentive and personable. I keep coming back! The selection always updates and I think it's good value--items are unique and so cute!

Such a great addition to the cute shops of Japantown! This new cat themed shop is a must visit for any cat lover. The store is very unassuming from the outside, very easily missed but just lookout for the cat sign. Inside is cozy but packed with so many cute items. From cat themed art, post cards, stationary, stickers, dishes & cups and more, it's such a fun store! They have a nice selection of everything and art from local artists. Great place to drop by if you're into cats, cat decor or looking for a gift for a cat person.

Made a stop at Japantown specially for the grand opening of this San Francisco-based group of illustrators' first storefront! I was so excited to come check it out. It's a small little shop but filled with plenty of cute cat things for yourself or for your loved ones. I bought a kitchen tea towel, some adorable cat chopsticks from Japan, and a magnet. Since it was their grand opening we also got a free tote bag and postcards with purchase. Will be returning to check out other stuff and for gifts!

such a small shop that has everything you can imagine about cats. pricey though. did not end up buying anything. but the little trinkets and items were great for a gift for a cat lover. the owner was sitting behind the cashier and was very welcoming. it was a busy day in the shop and hard to go around since it is so small though

From funky, modern cookbooks to cute stuffed animals, purses, youthful and quirky women's clothes, beautiful silk scarves, and feminine jewelry (including real gold earrings!), to lots of fun cards for any occasion (including Jewish holidays, which is important to me!), socks with funny sayings on them, hipster aprons, soaps, candles, fun tchotchkes of all sorts, there's a LOT to delight in inside this wonderful store! I would call it WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE, because the entry is definitely accessible, and if anything isn't, the employees go out of their way to move things and make it accessible! Their attitudes in general are very friendly and helpful, as is that of the owner (it's a woman-owned store!). Therapy doesn't close until 7:30 pm, which gives you plenty of time to run in for a birthday card and gift after you leave work and are on your way to a friend's birthday party! Overall, Therapy is a fun, quirky, happy-feeling store, and I love that it's managed to survive the last few decades on Valencia St.!

The staff is friendly and the variety of bags and accessories is always exciting to browse through. I ended up getting the Black Medium Cargo Crossbody. It can fit a water bottle, my sunglass case, phone, wallet, keys, and more! It's a really good size and I was impressed at how much can fit in it. I also like that it was made our of recycled material. It was around $56, so the price point isn't that bad esp cause I know the quality is good. My only small complaint is that there aren't enough mirrors in the store--it can be tricky to see how a bag looks when you're wearing it. A few more mirrors would make the shopping experience even better. Still, a great store and I'll definitely be back!

I also adore their baby reusables, which are perfect for takeout food. I own several packing cubes and dopp kits--one for skincare and the other for makeup. While Baggu bags are on the pricier side, they're definitely worth it and last a long time. I'd say the prices are comparable to Cath Kidston, Vera Bradley, LeSportsac, and Kipling, but Baggu offers better designs at possibly a lower cost. I recently visited the store for my birthday, which was exciting since I've always purchased online through Facebook, Mercari, Depop, and Poshmark. I'm thrilled with my purchase! The staff were very helpful in applying my 10% off coupon for first-time email subscribers, and they assisted me in selecting the perfect placement for my bag--a detail I really appreciated. If you love Baggu, I highly recommend visiting their store, but be prepared--it's surprisingly small!
