San Francisco Art Market - Handymade By Simone original paintings

You can tell that Simone is a true artist, and has taken much time and effort in realizing her creations. Everything is hand-made with care. The large canvas bags are put together with jean material, fabric from Mexico, hand-sewn flowers, hand-painted flowers and images of Frida. There are many gift ideas. I bought several small cross-body bags (two for me, one for my friend in Tokyo). You can remember your trip to SF with a painting of cats enjoying a romp in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. For the Frida admirer, check out her images and irreverent poetry adorned with hand-painted flowers and Simone's original "wall paper" background. Simone can usually be found on Market Street at Embarcadero Plaza, Thursdays to Saturdays: 415-806-7877 and petartistdiva@yahoo.com.

I would not recommend wearing anything bulky or bringing anything extra -- strollers, would be difficult to maneuver if the store is packed with people. It was also kind of hard to shop as I always felt like I was in someone's way while browsing or contemplating which Miffy to get. With that being said, there was I would say there was a good amount of items on the shelves. The associates do restock items throughout the day. The free postcards were sold out and those only get replenished I think, daily. There were tons of Miffy plushies in a variety of colors, sizes, outfits, and materials. Great place for gift giving. Keychains, stationary, knick knacks, pens, backpacks, bags, cards, etc. There was also an area in the back where you could take your photo with a special backdrop. Depending on the item, you could be looking to spend $22 on a micro mini Miffy lucky stuffed animal, to $33-$44 for the mini Miffy, to $18-$34 on keyfobs, I do not remember how much the giant giant Miffys were - but def in the hundreds -- the pink one would look so good in my room! There was a line to checkout, but it moved sort of fast since there would be merch to look at while in line, but it would make it difficult to shop if you weren't in line and wanted to see something on that side of the store.

Cute store at Ghirardelli square. So many plushies and gifts for girls of all ages. A little…read morepricey, but that's expected.
