Men's fashion leaders, David Becker and Arthur Louie have assembled a fantastic men's apparel boutique here. There is a reason for investing in quality men's clothing vs. picking up something from the Gap or Old Navy. Here are some: superior fit, quality fabrics, artisan workmanship, keen style, personalized service, pleasant shopping experience. the Archive personifies all of the above. and you don't have to be a metrosexual to shop here!

I'm from the East Bay, so not too familiar with this part of SF. It's mainly a residential section, with a few stores. Seems kinda quiet, and a decent neighborhood with easy parking out front. A very cool and hip front of store with an ultra clean and well presented inside. Each shoe is wrapped in sealed plastic, and from what I could tell, these guys are a stickler from detail: so clean and only the best for the used shoes. They had jerseys and other apparel. Gorgeous stuff. The guys that worked here were very super nice and helpful. Kudos!

I'm very disappointed with my recent experience with Grails SF. I've purchased several pairs of…read moreshoes from them in person in the past, but after this experience, I won't be returning as a customer. I placed an order through their website, only to have it canceled and refunded the following day because the shoes had been listed at the wrong price. I was told the pricing error was due to an "intern" mistakenly listing the item incorrectly. While I understand that mistakes happen, I don't believe customers should bear the consequences of a business's pricing error. Given Grails SF's reputation, I expected them to honor the listed price or, at the very least, offer a reasonable solution. I even asked if they could provide a discount on a future purchase as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience, but I was told there was nothing they could do. That response was especially disappointing and left me feeling that customer satisfaction was not a priority. Unfortunately, this experience has changed my opinion of the business. Because of the lack of customer service and willingness to make things right, I won't be purchasing from Grails SF again.

Good quality clothing and printing. Some of their lines include collaborations with Athletes, Artist and other Brands. Adapt's designs are inspired by local Bay Area Sports Teams, Culture, and Music. The location is small with various display cases and boards with their various products such as decals, pins, cups, lighters, key chains and other accessories. Adapt has a laptop set up with the website so you can view all their products. Customer service here has always been good with various workers. Always treated my family and I very well. Follow Adapt on social media to keep up with their releases and promotions. They usually have pretty good sales such as their random 40% Off Sale, Black Friday and Warehouse sale. If you're looking for Bay Area based brand with clean and simply designs and great quality then come by to check out Adapt. What a great hip hop graffiti-style clothing company. Nate, the owner and designer is one of a…read morekind. I stumbled upon his clothing one day and have been wearing it ever since. He's got such an urban cool style which shows in his artwork and clothing. Most importantly, I love to true SF city feel to the designs. I've picked up clothing for my whole family including my two year old daughter. I swear, she wears old skool shirts at least once a week. My two favorite pieces are the headphone t-shirt and black with gold spray can sweat suit for those chill San Francisco mornings. When you have a chance, check out the website- there are usually some cool deals and the shipping always comes within a couple of days.

Last year I ordered some cool stuff for our nephew's third birthday. He lives way out in Discovery Bay, and we try our best to keep him looking cool and a little urban. We got him a cute t with a lion silk-screened on it with the words "FEED ME!" scrawled on it graffiti-style, and an awesome hoodie with headphones embroidered around the neck. I plan on getting the same hoodie for my daughter, too. They also have adult apparel as well. If you're tired of shopping at Gymboree or Gap Kids and having your kid wear the same things every other kid is, check out new skool!

There is a place which honors San Francisco and the Richmond ( the District and not the city of Richmond). This place has art which honors the monuments of San Francisco and the style of San Francisco on clothing. It is called Fleetwood. On a Summer stroll on Clement street I landed inside Fleetwood. Inside you will find hats and jewelry along with shirts and seaters with prints that represent San Francisco from the Richmond District to the Golden Gate Bridge to the Sunset Dunes. You will find posters with San Francisco related prints along with tote bags. Fleetwood is also an art gallery and also has screen printing workshops.
