Great place well stocked very helpful associates. Just moved in the area and had a very warm welcome from there associates. I will be getting my home supplies here.. read more

Kind tucked away in the Albertson's center, but well worth finding! They have just about everything. Plus it's easier to find what you do want! In fact, a couple of times I've found things here that no one else carries. Every time I've visited this store I've received assistance -- without having to tromp around the store looking for help. That alone is worth 5 stars! read more

I love this store! They are always friendly, help you find exactly what you need, and have a lot of cool, unexpected items if you're looking for something different for a last minute gift. Today, I was 50 cents short, and I had inadvertently left my debit card in a different pocket (so embarrassing!) The cashier covered it for me! This really is a neighborhood store. Makes me feel good to shop here. read more

Always friendly and helpful staff and the BEST gift and home decor selection anywhere!

Staff are helpful and take the time to answer your questions. It may be more expensive than Home Depot or Lowe's for some items, but the service is always great here. read more

Now that they have remodeled their store is much easier to navigate and offers grater options. The staff have appeared to have improved as well. The employees seem much more knowledgable now, or at least provide that knowledge much quicker. When in a pinch I go to get the parts I need unless I need bulk. If you need bulk you are better off with a HD. read more

Received great customer service in the paint department. Stephanie patiently helped me and was very knowledgable. The customer service is top notch! read more

Norm is very friendly, kind, entertaining and so helpful :) We'll be asking for his help the next time we visit. Thanks for all the info today on brackets, Norm! read more

I am not a usual Yelp user, however I feel that I need to say something to someone out loud about what I witnessed today at the Wildomar Ace Hardware. I was there around 4pm, nothing too crazy I went in for something small and I really like that this is close to my home. I got what I needed with some help from a pleasant employee on the floor who asked if I needed help finding something, which I did and he very happily showed me. Which is why I gave it 2 not 1 star. I was very pleased with my service until I got to the register, while I was being helped, the cashier next to me had an older gentleman cashing out, he seemed to be a little confused by this "round up to the dollar" fundraiser that they have going on. The older man wasn't sure what he had pressed yes to, the cashier then tells him that he pressed yes to donate and it rounds up your total to the nearest dollar and if he didn't want to donate, he could go back and the man could push no. Easy enough right? The older man said yes, as in yes I would like you to go back, the cashier then says "yes" like you want to donate and older man says no. The cashier then gets nasty and says, " Sir I am just trying to help you, do you want to donate or not, I am just trying to make sure, first you said yes, then you said no"! The older man said "I am sorry I'm 89 years old I don't really know how to use these machines"... which is understandable since its probably new technology to him. The older man seemed a little taken back by the cashiers rude attitude change. He really had a nasty, non customer service like tone with this man. The older man proceeds to walk out and the cashier then turns to the other cashier and says a nasty comment and basically makes fun of the older gentleman.... I am sorry but the older gentleman being 89 years old has some getting used to with technology, I understand that, but to have someone be that rude and snap at an elderly person, let alone any person made me want to leave my things and walk out. The sad part is I think the cashier was a supervisor. I did not want to ask to speak to the supervisor because I followed the older gentleman out and apologized for the rude employee, saying that some people just have bad days, and that sometimes the keypads are tricky for even the avid shopper like me. He laughed and got in his car. So even for the rude employee to be rude to an elderly man, who was just confused as I am sure most of them are with all these new electronics in the stores, he was also rude to a veteran, the older man had a Vietnam Vet sticker on his car as well as a MY GRANDSON IS A MARINE sticker. Not that the employee knew the older man was a vet, but I mean come on, treat everyone with respect and kindness. That makes my blood boil more than anything, he didn't have to be rude in the first place, but then to be rude to someone who has served this country, and fought for the right for you to be free was just out right disgusting. I like to shop local and give money to the community instead of the big hardware stores, but this person was just nasty and i feel like he should think twice about saying things, out loud in front of other people. It's a little unsettling to know that he was so rude to someone so nice and he just did not care to try and help the situation at all, he was rude and chose to continue being rude. I really hope that the employee, he knows who he is, understands that it's not okay, not one bit. read more

Norm Dart was amazing. I was looking for a solution to a difficult problem and he offered a creative idea and even helped me find all the parts to make it happen. He is able to think out of the box. He was very patient and knew the store very well. My time is valuable and I was able to get in and out of the store fast! Thank you Norm! read more

This may be the first yelp review I have ever written, but good work deserves recognition. They are so attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Ben has helped me almost every time I have come in and he takes his time and knows his stuff. It's my first experience in a hardware store where I don't feel rushed or like an idiot. Heather greets me before I even finish walking in the store and points me in the right direction every time! Thanks for being awesome guys. See you next time! read more

The staff at Ace, along with the owners are great! Very friendly and generous to the community! They have fundraisers and giveaways and are so supportive! We love having them in Wildomar! read more

Fantastic! The people who work there are very helpful - much more than the big box stores of Home Depot and Lowe's. I needed to repair a toilet and I am NOT a plumber. I went into Ace and they not only stepped me through the process of the repair they made sure I had all I needed to make repair. The repair was more complicated then I originally planned and through each step the people at Ace were helpful and very nice. Will he going here instead of those other so called home improvement stores. read more

One of my favorite places to go. Don, is always very helpful and has some great info. Everyone there is polite and never seem rushed or annoyed. read more

The five stars are for Norm Dart the salesman who is amazingly helpful. The first two salespersons I asked where the hangers for the roller shades were: I don't think we carry them from the lady and maybe on aisle 11 from the man. But Norm saw I couldn't find them and took me right to them. That's the service I love about Ace Hardware. The other two not so much. I would give them a one star for breathing. read more

HOME IMPROVEMENT HAPPINESS! The Store Manager, Dusting Pursley, is very attentive and the entire staff is very knowledgeable. I recommend this store to everyone that is in need of the right item the first time. If you have a project and need help, come see the experts at Wildomar Ace. I have found things I never knew could be replaced in the hardware section. Thank You Ace!! read more

Just moved to the area and have been needing alot of hardware misc. Ace is a great atmosphere and the employees are really helpful too. Love going here. read more

STEVE HANCHETTE was so very helpful. I called looking for a gas-powered leaf blower. They had only one left of the kind I wanted. He answered all my questions over the phone, and said he'd place it on hold until I could come in the next day. When I came in, he brought it out, showed me all the ins / outs of how it works, and was very informative and professional. Thank you, Steve! Great store, great customer service. :) read more

I am not the that type of person to write about my experience good or bad but of course if the service was good I will continue to do business if the service is bad I just wouldn't go back, and for as long as I can remember I always would go to Home Depot or Lowes for my home improvement needs, until today I had a unique situation where the only place that curd and was willing to help me was the Ace Hardware store at 23881 Clinton Keith Rd Wildomar ,Ca as of now the only store I will shop at for my household needson any type of home improvement ace is the place... I would like to thank Mr Heep Pfautz for the amazing customer service I will be sure to tell all my family and friends where to go for their home improvement needs. don't want to keep rambling about my experience but because of Heep and Garrett my night will be awesome thank you so muchfor the amazing customer service. Thank you Ryan Kubiak An Ace customer for life read more

Very helpful staff. They have a great variety of everything you can think of. Prices are reasonable.

We love this store!!!! Everyone is professional & pleasant. Ace seems to always have exactly what we need. When running errands on weekends we stop by Home Depot & or Lowes to pick up a few things & can never get what we need at one store. However we'll stop at Ace in Wildomar & of course they have EVERYTHING we needed. Keep up the GREAT work team Ace!! read more

I was at the Habitat for Humanity Restore where they were selling Ace brand base paint that is untinted. It was donated to them by Ace. We went to this location to see how much it would be to have the paint tinted and were informed that they won't do it. I feel like Ace tricked the Restore into taking their paint so they didn't have to properly discard it. My husband called Sherwin Williams and they said they would tint the paint for free even though it is not their brand ..they just wouldn't be able to guarantee it. I will never shop at Ace again. How are they helping a company by making a donation that they can't use? read more

These guys are awesome. The most helpful and nice employees at any hardware store I've been to.

The customer service at this Ace Hardware is exemplary. They didn't have in stock a birdbath that was on sale but the manager (I'm assuming) gave us a great deal on two birdbaths she had in stock. I thought she was going to discount only one but she said we could take both if we wanted. We'll definitely be patronizing this store in the future. read more

Talk about bad customer service!!!! Walking around the store trying to ask a question, would see an employe and he would walk the other way. Never again will go there ever in my live back to Home Depot read more

These guys know their stuff.I was in there for 5min & got a great solution that would've taken me a month (or longer) to figure out. Will & Vincent are awesome! Thank You! read more

Norm Dart was a great help! He friendly assistance made my experience very pleasurable.

So, I've shopped this store many times, actually one of my favorite due to the hardware selection. Two weeks ago I spent about $200.00. Being a disabled combat veteran, I usually receive a 10% discount, I also had a $10.00 birthday card from Ace. The cashier was impatient and rude when I asked why she couldn't give the veteran's discount. She told me she could only give the $10.00 card, so I lost the advantage of using the vet discount. I wrote the store, but told them not to contact me, though a note of apology might have keep me as a customer. The floor guys were great on each of my visits, just pissed about being given attitude. read more

I came in yesterday to buy a tool box that was advertised for a specific price. As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted by the lady at the cash register and asked if I needed any help finding something. At that time, I thought I could find it on my own so continued to look throughout the store. A little later, I came across a gentleman named Rick (I believe that was his name) who was quick to help me. He informed me that they ran out the tool box I wanted but stated that he could sell me another tool box (that was at a higher price) for the advertised price that I wanted, since his manager had previously approved it. I thought it was great that this store did their best to honor the advertised price of the tool box I wanted. Rick and another employee also helped me to my car, since the tool box was very heavy. I really appreciated the great customer service at this store. I don't think I would have received the same service at another hardware store. I will definitely be back again! read more

Went in here last night to get a 24' ladder and not only did they have it in stock, it wS the same price as Home Depot!! Their friendly staff gives you a warm greeting when you walk in and help you find exactly what you're looking for. Ace is the Place!! read more

Do not buy paint here! I had them match my paint with a sample I brought from home. The paint was no where near the same color. Before buying the paint the manager said I could return it and so did the associate working the paint dept. the manager would not honor an exchange or return. This store is overpriced and their customer service is poor. Stick to Home Depot and lowes. read more

These folks go the extra mile when you need help. I had purchased a colapsable hose from them last September. It has a 1 year warrenty, but I only had the hose..no receipt. The floor person emailed the mfg. and initiated a replacement order. These folks are great..!!! read more

All the employees have been and are wonderful. It's a very helpful place. However, yesterday, Hep F. really helped me out on an unusual situation. It was kind of funny actually. Thank you very much Hep. I was able to relax after your assistance. You saved the day lol. read more

Even though I live walking distance from Lowes, I ended up driving all the way to Wildomar to Ace Hardware. I had the best service from Rick and Norm. They were both super knowledgeable and asked questions about my home project that I had not thought of. The big DIY stores are good if you need paint or to pick up a tool, but if you need really good customer service go to Ace Hardware. These guys are professional, courteous and super willing to help. read more

Great service for in-store pickup after I had been delayed out of town for a month. Pickup no problem. Then noticed they have a large section of 5.11 Tactical Gear. Suhweet! Sorry to say the gardening section is badly stocked and not worth spending your money on what stock they do have in as for service poor had to take picture of price of item to get money back after adamant cashier and customer server got price wrong only to then hear staff berate me as I was leaving and trying to justify there mistake as mine won't be back unless only option read more

.Norn was awesome. Very knowledgeable. Super friendly. We needed some crazy pipe conversation and he figured it out for us

Ace won me over today with outstanding customer service provided by "Will". Previously I went to both Lowes & Walmart to get a copy of a key made. MinuteKey at Lowes made a key that did not work and Walmart did not have a blank that matched. I came to Ace and met Will who went way above and beyond to work out a software issue with the key recognition application. Will was both personable and tenacious as he spent a lot of time working to get the machine to work properly. I honestly expected him to give up and I would once again be on my way searching for someone to simply duplicate an "unusual" key. Fortunately Will kept at it until he got the device to work properly. He found the right blank, made my key, and I have now tested it and it works perfectly. Surprised the cost was only 2 bucks, whereas Minutekey was 3. So Ace wins across the board: quality, value, and best of all fantastic customer service. Thank you Ace and thank you Will. I will definitely be back and refer you to others. read more
