We received my daughter's new glasses and she loves them. I really appreciate the staff for being so wonderful.

I went into the office for a retina exam. My dermo called in the referral, when I arrived the front desk said, "oops, no one verified your referral, but you should be good." I saw the doctor, did the eye exam, and paid my copay, the doctor was amazing. One week later I get a phone call from the front office asking for a PCP referral, which at this time, they cannot back date it. Today I get a phone call from Mackenzie at the front office, and she admitted on the phone, that it was her office staff's mistake, they should have verified and I should not have been seen at all. She then proceeds to tell me that I can speak to her manager, which then she stated her manager was in a meeting, however I will owe because the insurance referral wasn't in place. I told her I didn't feel that was right since it was her office staff's mistake, her response was that I can just deal with the insurance bill and take it up with insurance from here on out, and she hung up on me! I never once raised my voice, used foul language, I simply stated she had just admitted it was her staff's fault, so why should I owe for a bill when it was the employees fault they should have checked as the insurance verification team. I have never been spoken to or hung up on by an employee. Do not go here if you don't want a surprise insurance bill since their employees don't check properly before their appointments. read more

It's pretty bad when you see better without your new glasses than with them. The reason they said my vision was so bad with them on was because of cataracts they never mentioned during the exam. They did mention that was the issue when I went in to complain about my vision with my new glasses....terrible! Vision works here I come! read more

THIS IS REVIEW FOR WILDFLOWER VISION TEMPLE TX I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STAR IF THE OPTION WERE AVAILABLE In my 45 years of wearing glasses this is the worst place ever. First we made an appointment to get the prescription and were given 4:30 appointment (place closes at 5 PM) At 4:25 they called me to let me know that my appointment was cancelled since the doctor was running one hour behind !!!!! My question was if "she is running one hour behind she would have known one hour ago and could have cancelled or reschedule before I was already in their parking lot. My glasses were broken so I needed replacement asap. The secretory was going to look for earliest possible opening. At 4:28 I got a call that Doctor can see me right away!!! Miraculously the doctor that was running one hour behind was free to see me I was already a block away so I made it to place by 4:30 ENTIRE WAITING ROOM WAS EMPTY AND IN 5 MINUTES THEY CALLED FOR ME AND MY EXAM WAS DONE IN 15 MINUTES!!! So much for doctor running one hour behind. I thought my misery would be over - on 19th of December I ordered and paid for two pair of glasses. The receipt they gave me showed Expected completion date 1/1/2025. I thought that was too long but felt may be due to holidays they are playing safe. Glasses never arrived so on Jan 14 (26 days after order I called) Michelle answered the phone and told me it was still in process (whatever that means) she said she will call when glasses arrive I wonder what kind of outfit these people are running - are they getting glasses from China being shipped by ships??/ Would some one from company call the company making glasses as to what was the reason for delay? or get a firm date of shipping on Jan 16 afternoon I called again and Michelle told me the same thing she did 48 hours ago. There was no sense of "let me call them and find out why it is taking too long and when will it be shipped? Visited Temple Vision Source just as the COVID-19 directives were becoming slightly more serious. I was hesitant to go in however, my vision has been changing over time and I felt it necessary. I was extremely pleased to walk into a business that was taking all necessary precautions to keep their clientele and patients safe and happy. The measures they took and the care they took to ensure a sterile environment was not lost on me. I am a stickler for systems and organization and from reception to the final meeting with the optician, I was sold. While I have not received my new glasses yet (understandably), I will definitely be coming to TVS for future eye care and recommending them to anyone in the area who is in need. read more

Went in for eye exam and glasses. order bifocals at the urging of sales staff. Bought name brand frames and all the extras they told me I needed. Got my glasses and could not see. They told me it was because of an adjustment period. Came back again and begged to be rechecked. my prescription was wrong. I asked for single vis lenes this time. Got my glasses and still were wrong. Asked for my money back and was told no. Another vision check, another prescription and again asked for single vision. This time I received the correct prescription, but bifocals. Never again. Horrible experience. Forced into something I did not want and do not use. read more

I previously had two really negative experiences with a former member of the office staff, but I was relieved to hear that the person in question has left the business and I no longer have to dread the experience of going to see Dr. Pagan due to this employee. Every other employee I have met there is kind and friendly and helpful as is Dr. Pagan. read more

Do not recommend this place I went to for a exam and 4 weeks later I have not received my glasses. Even told the optometrist l, after I put in my trail contacts that I couldn't see. Everything was blurring she fastly went through some lens questions and said nope your not getting another prescription. Was very unprofessional and yet I was told I needed needed full time glasses when I infact only need readers being I got a 2nd opinion from a different office. read more

They don't pick up their phone. I scheduled an appointment in a week, which was canceled because "their system wasn't in sync and it was overbooked." They refused to order new contacts because "my prescription is about to be expired" and I had to go see them. My prescription in fact was not expired. Will not return or recommend to anyone I know. read more

Must have changed management, now very difficult to get through (it's a National chain so you call and they don't even know what location you use) and do not return calls. Poor overall customer service and been patient for 3 years. Recommend finding a different place in town. Charge you for being 10 minutes late for appt even if you call ahead, have very minimal open time slots. Overall very poor experience read more

i have been here multiple times and they never have enough staff to help me any day I come. inhave tried 4 different times with the same result. it has been a frustrating experience. hire some staff or post that you close your ENTIRE office for lunch. or train your staff better. normal businesses don't function like this so I'm not sure how you're still open. read more

I booked a routine exam for my family with them because they had Saturday hours and it seemed convenient. I received 3 different calls from them prior to our appointments saying they were unable to verify our insurance information although our insurance companies verified everything was fine. We showed up the day of the appointment and the girl at the front desk wasn't very welcoming. Didn't bother to greet us until we had been standing there for a while and then just said her system was down and there was nothing she could do about it. Once her system came back up she gave us paperwork to fill out that said we would be responsible for $139 each if we had a medical diagnosis. None of us use prescriptions and our medical insurance policy copays are not $139. It doesn't seem like their insurance/billing department is very professional and it felt like a time share meeting. "Depending on what happens when you see the dr we may charge you $139." It was a very strange experience so we left. Definitely recommend going to a more professional medical office. read more

Great experience here, as usual. My glasses were broken after being stepped on. I brought them in and Maegan took the time to really work on them and get them fixed right. I'm surprised she was able to repair them without there being any evidence they were ever broken! She then helped me order sunglasses- which involved looking up options available for order online. All of the staff were friendly, courteous and masked! I appreciate the efforts to sanitize all frames after they were tried on. Keep up the good work! read more

Set up an appointment with the directive that is to be covered with Scott & White Insurance. Appointment was set up with a doctor that they stated did take S&W. 8 minutes before the appointment, they decided they do not accept S&W. Tried to initially make me pay all expenses out of pocket because of their mistake. Sent me messages that if I canceled they were still going to charge for the visit. Be careful because they will try to scam you. You can make your own assumptions of they type of people working there. Temple deserves better. read more
