I walked in right on time. Filled out a short new patient form, handed it back within a few minutes I was called over for a quick check then the doctor took me right away. She said the prescription that I turned in was correct on the glasses and that I probably needed a new prescription. She insisted that I was mistaken. The first pair of glasses that I have from the same prescription is fine but from another vision store. She told me that I need to move my head around until I found a spot that was clear for reading. I have been wearing glasses for over 30 years I have never had this problem and I know when there is something wrong. I am not a person to cause a scene so I left after trying to convince her that It was something wrong and she was determined that she was right. With insurance I paid about $300.00 for a pair glasses that I can wear only if I don't need to read anything. I will never shop at Visionworks again. She said I chose not to add the expanded bifocal at the bottom (which I did not even know was a choice because everything was in the prescription) and showed me a space the size of half the tip of my fingernail that I need to focus on for reading. I've never heard of that before. I am not satisfied and felt very humiliated with others standing around listening to the conversation. For me the rating is less that the lowest one available. It seems that it did not matter as long as she felt they had done their part and nothing else can be done.
