She said the prescription that I turned in was correct on the glasses and that I probably needed a new prescription. She insisted that I was mistaken. The first pair of glasses that I have from the same prescription is fine but from another vision store. She told me that I need to move my head around until I found a spot that was clear for reading. I have been wearing glasses for over 30 years I have never had this problem and I know when there is something wrong. I am not a person to cause a scene so I left after trying to convince her that It was something wrong and she was determined that she was right. With insurance I paid about $300.00 for a pair glasses that I can wear only if I don't need to read anything. I will never shop at Visionworks again. She said I chose not to add the expanded bifocal at the bottom (which I did not even know was a choice because everything was in the prescription) and showed me a space the size of half the tip of my fingernail that I need to focus on for reading. I've never heard of that before. I am not satisfied and felt very humiliated with others standing around listening to the conversation. For me the rating is less that the lowest one available. It seems that it did not matter as long as she felt they had done their part and nothing else can be done.

When cleaning the lens, it actually popped out of the frame. Going downhill in all areas, including service, product selection, workmanship, wait times, and pricing.. I saw the doctor, did the eye exam, and paid my copay, the doctor was amazing. One week later I get a phone call from the front office asking for a PCP referral, which at this time, they cannot back date it. Today I get a phone call from Mackenzie at the front office, and she admitted on the phone, that it was her office staff's mistake, they should have verified and I should not have been seen at all. She then proceeds to tell me that I can speak to her manager, which then she stated her manager was in a meeting, however I will owe because the insurance referral wasn't in place. I told her I didn't feel that was right since it was her office staff's mistake, her response was that I can just deal with the insurance bill and take it up with insurance from here on out, and she hung up on me! I never once raised my voice, used foul language, I simply stated she had just admitted it was her staff's fault, so why should I owe for a bill when it was the employees fault they should have checked as the insurance verification team. I have never been spoken to or hung up on by an employee. Do not go here if you don't want a surprise insurance bill since their employees don't check properly before their appointments.
