Service was horrible, we were sitting at the table for about 20 minutes before the owners son, who was talking to people at next table over, told us that we needed to place our order at the register. He ended up taking our order and then never told us that soft drinks were serve yourself at the fountain that was hidden from our view. Had to wait to cash out lottery cause the only person there that could cash it out was on like a 20 minute break even though another waitress told us he was on a 10 minute break. My friend and I stopped in for lunch and were VERY pleased with the food. They smoke the meat daily, which smells so good ! I had a brisket salad that was excellent. Ate every bite. My friend had a burger and she finished every bite as well. Highly recommend coming here. Food tasted good enough. I had the Cheddar & Beer soup which was fine. The Caesar Salad was just some lettuce and a little plastic cup of dressing . . . but I thought a Caesar was supposed to be dressed and tossed? The guy even asked me what dressing I wanted on my Caesar! Burnt Ends were tasty enough, but not much burnt or ends about them. Just chunks of meat with a little smoky flavor. I was expecting a lot of back on the meat. They put them onto an aluminum tray that immediately sucked the heat out of them so all the fat was congealed. maybe it was an off night, I will probably go back and try the wings. read more

Fun place on Mohawk in Springfield. I had the brisket chili-perfect amount of spice! Great Stuff! Thyme had the BLT . The cooks knows how to call ok the bacon perfect and load the sandwich. Ive eaten at this restaurant several times now and have had both good and bad meals here. The good meal was thier brisket chili. It was loaded with brisket and had just the right amount of heat to make it an outstanding meal. I also enjoyed thier smoked chicken salad, although the veggies looked like they were hack by Jason himself. The meat was tender and flavorful. The wiorst meal I had here was the three meat plate. The pulled pork was all bark and no inner meat so it became too much smoke and started to taste burnt. The brisket ( which I paid $3.00 extra for) was a grey pile of mushed meat. It had no flavor as it was shaved and was very unappetizing. I dont know where the mix up was but it was not the brisket I paid for. The chicken was again the best of the meats. As for ambiance and service, it is a typical BBQ joint with dark wood benches and tables. The owner is very personable and the staff was nice. Over all I would be very careful what you order here. I learned an expensive $27.00 lesson. Next time I will stick with the chili. read more

We went here tonight as the last choice to go out. This was our first time eating there. It was extremely noisy to me. There is a concrete floor that didn't muffle the noise. The first clue should have been the parking lot was empty a on a saturday night at 5:45 The prices were ridiculous.. .the same price for a micro beer as domestic. . . $7.00 like what?!? Had to ask staff to tell us prices because the menu wasn't clear and they had to look up the prices. We stopped in today because we noticed the name changed. First thing was my drink. I ordered a Cadillac Margarita and it didn't look or taste like a Cadillac Margarita. We ordered wings and the first order was burnt black. We sent it back and the second order came out cold near the bone, it was still cold. Sent back and didn't want to roll the dice again. We also ordered a Turkey Club. I picked it up and the bacon was not cooked at all! The bread was drenched in grease. I was struggling to eat it. Then a lady came in for her shift and we thought she was a manager, she pretty much mocked me about turning the sandwich around because all the inside was falling out and I said I was turning it around trying to make it where I could bite. She said I could take any ingredients off next time,because all she wanted to do was argue and tell us they have so many reviews about their wings. We had her touch the inside of the cold chicken bone and she still kept raving about their wings. We were not looking for any free food, we ate there when it was Chiefs. That was the food we expected and it didn't matter their food was horrible and greasy, and after arguing with her being so loud and rude I ended up going to my car while my husband paid. For the price of food nowadays when you spend a minimum of 50 bucks you expect something is edible. The last thing was the Bartender telling us that they were not going to change anything just because they couldn't cook it right. We thought that the lady being loud was an owner or manager and then we asked if she was and she said no she was just the bartender. Good luck because your food will close the doors for you. This is now our favorite "go to" restaurant for great food and amazing hospitality. We reserved their very private warm and homey patio room for a 40th birthday party. Our big family had plenty of sitting room. We especially enjoyed conversation on their comfy sofa surrounding their fire table. It was extremely comfortable despite being January. The menu is extensive; can't wait to try something new at every visit. Highly recommend the smokey mac & cheese. Amazing! That is the only way to explain Wildfangs Grill House. We stopped in on our way home from a wedding at 8:30pm. We were greeted by the wonderful Ms. Tina. She was the sweetest customer serve person I have had in forever. She quickly got us our drinks while we looked over the menu. We asked a lot of questions as it was our first visit and everything looked good. She brought me a sample of the Coleslaw which was very good! Not to mayonnaisey. I am not a Mayo lover at all but enjoy a good coleslaw. I had a two meat dinner with Pulled Pork and Burnt Ends, Coleslaw and the Mac and Cheese! I truly enjoyed everything on my plate; and so did my husband! He had the Philly Cheese Steak and Brisket Chili. The Philly was delicious, not to oily like many Phillys can be. The chili was a meal in its self; Meaty and full of flavor. We left stuffed and with to go boxes! In the future I think we could easily share a meal.
