I came around 6pm for dinner on a weekday and they were still busy. I had pistachio chicken and I enjoyed it a lot!! The chicken had a nice chicken flavor to it and it is on a bed of flavored potatoes. The pistachio flavor is the cream sauce which is really good. For dessert I had a blueberry pie which I liked A LOT. I love that it wasn't too tart and of course the crust itself. The pie also came with some vanilla ice cream which was an awesome combination to the pie. To drink I had the lemon drop which had a rim of cinnamon sugar which is what intrigued me the most. I just was not impressed. High prices for very basic tasting breakfast food. Breakfast menu is somewhat limited. Coffee was not good and I wished I saved the money and went across the street to try the taro coffee place. Bacon tasted like it was over cooked, sat out to dry up and then served. Breakfast sausage came as a flat pattie and just tasted like frozen food from a bag. Which is how most sausages come but this one was really salty and did have not much flavor other than salt and was weirdly a bit dry. The smashed potato's were really dry and lacked much flavor. Almost seemed undercooked? Not sure. The eggs tasted like real eggs so that was good but they were $6 for 2 scrambled eggs. I do enjoy the local art and photographs of places nearby they display. Table next to me was offered two hot sauce options, I received one option and had to ask for the other. Went here during a road trip from California to Texas where we ate out often at various breakfast spots and this isn't a place I'd want to return. My friend had been here for dinner before and said the dinner wasn't that good either. Prices just don't justify the taste here. Small quaint restaurant with super friendly staff. The restaurant was clean and well decorated with large pictures of surrounding hikes and viewpoints, as well as paintings from local artists. We only ordered waters. The pistachio chicken came strongly recommended from the menu itself and locals (even from the staff at our nearby hotel). The pistachio chicken was relatively small and came on a bed of potatoes. The pistachio crust wasn't as crunchy as I expected and the pistachio flavor wasn't as bold either. The brocolinis were well cooked and the sweet poblano cream sauce was amazing. The other popular dish was the tropical piggy which was a GF bowl. Came with Jamaican jerk pork, coconut rice, pineapple slaw, and spinach that had no sauce on it (would have been great with the poblano cream sauce though). The jerk pork was very moist and had the right amount of fat and no problematic bones to deal with. The pineapple slaw was so refreshing and coconut rice was properly sweet to balance out the saltiness of the pork. All in all a great lunch spot in Kanab! read more

So we stopped at this restaurant because after researching restaurants in the area, it looked really good. So my husband wanted a steak so he ordered the ribeye and I ordered tomato bisque soup and a salad. The first thing that happened was that my soup came and it was luke warm. I sent it back. I requested no red onions on my salad.... and that came incorrectly... to top things off the compounded garlic butter on top of the steak was frozen cold and not melted. So I sent that back. So my friend is still talking about the melt in your mouth rib eye steak. She was obsessed. It also was served with sage butter crushed tiny potatoes. Yum!!!! But I digress. Let's talk about the cocktails. They were visually beautiful and concocted perfectly. I had a sage honey syrup rye, my friend had a blackberry mojito and my other friend had an amaretto sour. Look at those pictures. Delish. The service and staff were friendly and helpful. We started with a spinach artichoke dip that was extremely good. They used big chunks of artichokes. So good. So being vegetarian I usually don't get a lot of options. I had the best diner. It was a bowl with chickpea cakes, fresh spinach, kale, broccolini and a green curry with rice and fried won tons. It was AMAZING. Our other entree was a pasta dish with grilled shrimp. It needed more sauce but it still was very good. The dessert looked amazing but we really didn't have the room. The people here were so nice! The food was yummy for a small town so that was a pleasant surprise. We came in taco Thursday and ordered shrimp tacos and the pistachio crusted chicken. My only complaint is they add a 3% surcharge for credit card. They do add a 20% tip to the bill automatically. read more

SERVICE: Ela and Marcos made our visit great. Personable, kind, attentive. This place has better service than the higher rated Sego which is overrated. FOOD: Ribs and bison steak were terrific. I'd recommend Greygoose and/or Belvedere in-house. Had to have Absolute instead (and they have Titos and some other one). Dessert will be your favorite part of this visit. Delectable, the pecan pie wasn't too sweet, and all desserts are aesthetically gorgeous as well. I've had many salads and the impossible burger. Everything has been really good (but I forgot to take photos). It feels a little crowded inside so I've only ever eaten on the patio. The service has always been fast and friendly though! The price is worth it for the quality of the food! read more

The food was fantastic. It was so good that even though I sent my ribs back because they were served closer to room temperature, I still give them 5 stars. Ribs were tender and "fall off the bone" delicious. Plenty of delicious BBQ sauce. Potatoes on the side were delicious. Not a fan of broccoli but the BBQ sauce on the broccolini was great. My wife had an even better dinner. Green chili penne & added blackened chicken. It was cheesy with a great flavor from the hatch chilies. Used the garlic bread to clean the bowl. The surprise of the evening was the Honey Sage Bullet Rye. Will definitely try to recreate that at home. Wild Thyme Cafe was our lunch stop while we were road tripping through Utah, and it was in the wonderfully quiet town of Kanab. The weather was lovely with blue skies, but as it was quite cold, we opted to sit inside. Our waitress was very attentive and apologized for making us wait (~10 minutes) before she was able to take our orders which was not an issue at all as it gave us time to decide what to get. We both got salads after seeing great review on yelp, and I have to admit, it may have been one of the best Mediterranean salads I have ever had. It wasn't drowning in oil or any dressing, and all the toppings were wonderfully portioned. My boyfriend got the southwest salad, and luckily, they serve the dressing on the side as there was more than enough for his salad. Don't know the next time we would ever be back in the area, but for those passing through, this is a great lunch stop on your trip. read more

A small but cute restaurant. I'm always a little skeptical of small town restaurants regardless of reviews, as they can be hit or miss. Not this Thyme! Wild Thyme legitimately deserves its rating. Excellent service - the servers were kind and energetic. Food was tasty as well. I had the pistachio chicken and everything was solid. The sauce, though, was what made the dish! So tasty. My fiance got the trout and it was similar experience - solid, but the sauce was next level! Same again with our friend's order of the tropical piggy. I could've eaten that til I became a tropical piggy. Perhaps Wild Thyme needs to change their name to Wild Sauce!
