Gluten free French toast
Tara R.

Being gluten free can limit one's choices while traveling, when I found this place online while searching for gluten free breakfast, I was excited to see they had a gluten free menu and even more excited to see I could get gluten free stuffed French toast! Sadly, that was not the case. The gluten free menu offered in the restaurant was much smaller and lacked the option for stuffed French toast, so I got the regular gluten free French toast. It was ok. Nothing fancy or much to write about. Service was ok. Some of the servers did seem a little grumpy or maybe they just hadn't had their coffee yet. Would I return, probably not. Overall the experience was ok.

Breakfast lasagna

We went to Wild Eggs, which happened to be the last restaurant of our 10 day road trip. First of all, we loved the decor. Second, we loved their creative menu. The breakfast lasagna is what caught my eye. Now, I do take issue with anything that's stacked being called lasagna, as it clearly isn't. That said, this was a delicious choice. It had everything: pancakes, eggs, meat, cheese, some syrup -- both sweet and savory in one dish. Needless to say, it was HUGE, and I was thrilled to bring the leftovers home. All of my companions also enjoyed their meals, and they complimented me for finding this restaurant. We also loved that they left a whole pot of coffee for us; I always like having the option of pouring it when I want it.

I came here with a group of friends for Sunday brunch. We were able to get a table of 8 pretty quickly without any issues. I got the Kalamity Katie Border Benedict. The chorizo on the benedict made it better. The eggs were perfectly poached to perfection. Totally recommend this signature dish. We also got the house-made cinnamon roll to share among 8 people. The coffee was mid, but everything else was great. The waitress Morgan was very friendly and took good care of us.

Mexico City Chilaquiles

I ordered the Mexico City chilaquiles and they are very delicious, they are not no authentic but tasty regardless. The potatoes were crispy and had just the right amount of salt. The service was also great and the egg theme is very fun.

Mad Hatter Platter

The food is always amazing and a great value for the price. We order take out regularly, and the food is always cooked perfectly.

Surfer Girl Omelet

This was my first visit to the WE location in Hamburg and it was great! The menu offers so many great options, it's an awesome spot for breakfast/brunch. I had the "surfer girl omelette" with an everything muffin and side of potatoes. Everything was delicious and there was enough to split with my (very hungry) 2 year old. The service was great and the restaurant itself is clean, bright, and open. 5 stars because I feel like Wild Eggs accomplishes what it sets out to do- serve a great breakfast!

GameDay fuel-up. Love the varied items on menu. Decent prices. Great coffee. The ease of making reservations and being seated was easy-peasy.

We celebrated an anniversary brunch here and really enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant was slow but busy if that makes sense. It was pretty quiet even though 75% of tables were occupied. Our server was Morgan and she did a decent job of attending to our needs. I had the Mad Platter with French toast, grits, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and a blue berry muffin. Everything was prepared appropriately and scrumptious. I love the French toast here. It's always buttery and delicious. I'd definitely recommend this location to others looking for a nice brunch spot in this part of town.

Excellent service! Friendly staff and great food. This place was packed but the team was kind enough to sit our family of 4 quickly. The menu has a lot of great options! It's a brunch restaurant so you can get some great breakfast or lunch. We ordered an iced hazelnut latte with almond milk and a regular coffee to drink. They brought the pitcher to the table for easy refills. The kids both got apple juice with fun kids straws. The hazelnut latte was nothing special and really watered down so I wouldn't get it iced again. For food we ordered the Carolina scramble, Kids pancakes add bacon, Stuffed French Toast add Sausage. The prices are very comparable to breakfast places in the area. Portion sizes were perfect we didn't have any leftovers and left feeling full. The Carolina came with a choice of muffin, biscuit or bread. I chose a biscuit and it was so fluffy buttery and warm! The scramble also came with a bacon white gravy which I asked for on the side. It was not as peppery and flavorful as a sausage white gravy but it did go well with the meal. The stuffed French toast was seriously stuffed! It was a custard filling closer to yogurt texture and flavor with tons of berries and whip cream and powder sugar. The toast itself was crispy and had a sugar crust! So delicious! The pancakes are thick! And easily shareable between our two kids. Overall a great place to stop for some brunch!

Chicken & Waffle

I ordered the Chicken and Waffles while visiting this location during a work trip. When it was brought to the table, the presentation looked great, but I was so disappointed when I cut into the chicken. I expected a chicken breast, not a chicken cutlet. The waffle wasn't terrible, but was a little dry. The waitress was super nice and friendly and overall service was great.

Eggs over easy& fried potatoes

My friend and I decided to come here for breakfast on Sunday. When we walked in there were a few larger parties waiting to be seated. The hostess put us on the waiting list and told us it would be 10-15 minutes . It wasn't even 15 minutes before I received a text telling me our table was ready. Our server's name was Syndey and she couldn't have been any more friendlier than she was . I ordered two eggs over easy , fried potatoes and whole wheat toast with coffee. My friend had an omelette with whole wheat toast . The food was really good and I had a hard time not eating both pieces of toast. The coffee came in a carafe and was left on the table . I found the coffee to be really smooth and was surprised at how good it was . For the two of us it was a little over 28.00 and worth every penny of it . We really enjoyed the food and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant.

I highly recommend Wild Eggs. It is our go to place in Lexington for breakfast. The service is always good and the food is consistently tasty. The muffins are ridiculously delicious.

Food was delicious. Server was very friendly. We ate outside and it was very nice. I'd say go for the French toast.

The food was good, and I enjoyed my bacon omelette. My husband didn't care for his food and said it was mediocre but would return.

We had reservations but ended up getting there early and just had our dinner at the bar. We both had cocktails which we enjoyed along with the deviled eggs for an appetizer. The eggs were okay--a bit spicier than I would have preferred and I would probably try a different app next time I go (there will be a next time for sure!) My shrimp and grits were great but honestly the bourbon glazed wings that my fiance had were the show stoppers. Large sized wings that were smoked perfectly with the right amount of crunch topped with a sweet but not too sweet bourbon glaze. I will definitely get those next time I go. The vibes were casual and chill--the perfect place to pre-game before a game or event or the perfect place to meet friends for a drink. I'd definitely recommend!

The fried duck rangoon is a delicious option (unless you just don't like cream cheese), but the fattiness carries the sauce so well. Also, tacos are always a good option - Taco Tuesday specials are so worth it. Lots of service options (to go, at the bar, sit down service). You can even get a delivery to Beer Trappe! Everyone has been super nice every time we've gone and very helpful even with silly questions. It can get kinda loud, especially on event nights, but outdoor seating is great when the weather is nice!

I must admit when I saw the size of her donuts I laughed because they were so big. Long story short what she got was a cronut not the traditional cake donut. Previously I've had the raspberry filled donut there and it was really good. The caramel turtle is also a cronut. She asked what kind of dough it was my guess was brioche because of the texture. I could be wrong. I liked my donut although it was a little messy to eat . My friend on the other hand didn't care for the cronut. The coffee though is always on point and it didn't disappoint. As for customer service they really are on point. I've been there a total of three times so far and every time they've been friendly and patient. Plenty of seating indoors and on the patio. I think after 1 pm they do donuts made to order (I didn't see the sign when we first walked in until after we placed our order). I just thought they sold out but the woman at the counter told me they do made to order.

The kind where you fully intend to order one... and somehow walk out with two. Or three. The layers are perfectly flaky, the flavors works well well together, and every bite feels like it was engineered to make you say "okay, just one more." Fair warning to anyone with even a shred of restraint: you will lose it the moment you take your first bite.
