We enjoy Wild Eggs and use their online waitlist to cut back on our wait. I highly recommend that people do that, especially for the Hamburg location as it tends to get very busy. I ordered tea, french toast, and over-easy eggs for this visit. My husband ordered a wild west omelet with coffee. The wait for food was not long and everything came out cooked perfectly. Love Wild Eggs! It's one of my favorite brunch places especially for a savory brunch. My favorite item on the menu is Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict. If you love eggs benedict and tex mex food, you have to try this. It is so good! I love the corn cake instead of the English muffin as it adds a bit of sweetness while the chorizo gives a little kick. And the avocado cools it all down. It's a very nice combo. Also don't forget the everything muffin! I had to break into it before I took a picture. Service this visit was excellent. We were told our wait was going to be 30-45 minutes. This was a delivery during COVID 19. I got the breakfast burrito, which is a flour tortilla, egg, chorizo, cheddar jack cheese, poblano pepper, and onion. It's topped with queso fundido, avocado, and green onion. Sides were skillet potatoes and black beans. I also ordered pork chili, but that didn't arrive. I absolutely love Wild Eggs, the mushroom scramble is one of my most favorite breakfast dishes anywhere and the apple cider mimosa is fantastic. HOWEVER, they really, really need to do something about the window next to the "wall of eggs". It's 1121 and I'm blinded by the light, the sun shines right in the face of those sitting in the seat closest to the window and it's legit a miserable experience. If offered this seat again, I'd just go somewhere else, the food isn't good enough to deal with it. read more

I stopped by this location on a number of occasions. Each time service was really great. The employees are attentive and every employee is willing to ensure you have a good experience. I recently found out I have a egg intolerance, so I'm now limited in what I want to order. However, any of the items can modified and prepared without the egg. It was so sweet - strong cream cheese flavor in the frosting - totally delicious. Would highly recommend as either an appetizer or dessert. Then I got the burrito! Which I also thought was delicious. I subbed bacon for eggs. It had some nice fresh tomatoes and good queso smothering it. She said the nice part was that the bread squished down but was still delicious so it could fit in her tiny mouth. My kids had the pancake. I could live on their pancakes. Wild Eggs is a small chain of breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurants available in the Lexington, Louisville, Cincinnati and Indianapolis areas. I started with a Bluegrass Sunrise made with Buffalo Trace, cranberry juice and lemonade. The drink was not bad, and it was refreshing, but I would have liked more lemonade than cranberry juice. The bourbon was really hidden, so it could sneak up on you. My fiancé tried the Breakfast Burrito served with home fries and black beans, and a side pancake. The burrito is made with a flour tortilla, scrambled eggs, chorizo, cheddar jack cheese, poblano peppers, onions and topped with queso, sour cream, pico, avocado and green onions. The burrito was working it with the ingredients. Everything was cooked and seasoned well, not spicy, and it just melted in your mouth. The fries were seasoned well, super crispy yet still pillowy in the middle. The black beans were cooked in bacon, and it stood out in the first of the bite. Personally, just add the salsa Verde, and it would be perfect. The pancake was fantastic but a little under done in the middle, but she said that worked for her. I had the Mexico City Chilaquiles. The dish is made with corn tortillas, beans, salsa Verde, queso Blanco, over easy egg(ordered your way), chorizo (or chicken) and is served with home fries and shot of jugo de limón y chile, which is fresh lemon and lime juice and chili powder. I pour the shot on the dish, and it added a nice acid punch. The chorizo was cooked and seasoned well, the tortillas were fresh, the beans added an almost creamy texture to the bite. It was spicy and flavorful. I order my egg over easy, but it was touch overcooked, so I did not get that yolky mix to counter the spicy and acid. It could have used a touch more cheese. The fries again we're great. Wild Eggs offers several breakfast favorites, omelettes, sandwiches, salads, mixed drinks and meal creations of their own. The wait staff was very friendly. If i was rating on food alone, I definitely would give a 4. The biscuits and gravy were my choice for breakfast. The biscuit was flaky, buttery, and moist. The gravy was creamy. I would prefer a little more seasoning to in the gravy, especially with it being a sausage gravy. The bacon was barely crispy but still good. The service was slooooow. I think part of it was they asked if we wanted to sit outside. We said that's fine, not realizing they were sticking us on the side of the building on the wire patio furniture under an umbrella. Out of site out of mind. We say for close to 10 minutes before our waiter came and took our drink order. 10 minutes before he brought the drinks to us and then couldn't take our food order because he needed to check on another table. 15 minutes later, he came back, took our order, then 30 minutes later, brought our food out. We got 0 refills, and then after he took our card to run it, he was gone for 15 minutes waiting on other tables. He finally saw me standing watching and brought my card back. Again, I enjoyed the food, but the service was bad. Don't let them set you outside next to the building. They will forget about you. read more

My parents and I stayed at a hotel across the street from Wild Eggs so it seemed natural to try them out for breakfast. Plus I checked Yelp and the reviews were good. When we walked in it was standing room only but we were seated in less than 10 minutes which was great as we were starving! It was a Saturday morning so I'm assuming the weekends are their busiest time. Our server was good. And I really liked how they gave us a pitcher of water at the table so we didn't have to wait for a refill. I ordered the biscuits with chorizo sausage gravy. The Spanish sausage offered a little spicy kick which I loved! Although a bit on the greasy side for me. But it waa sausage lol. The biscuits were light and fluffy. Both my parents ordered the stack of pancakes. Both enjoyed their meals. You can find anything from Crepes, granola, to a delicious looking cinnamon bun that's baked in a cast iron skillet. If I liked sweet things for breakfast I would have tried this! I am not a coffee drinker but my Dad enjoyed the limitless coffee refills. They have a very creative menu. They have an extensive selection of egg entrees which goes well beyond the typical breakfast place. We settled on the stuffed French toast which was magnificent. I like the little touches like a water pitcher with lemon for the table and egg shaped salt and pepper shakers. Our group of four had Belgian waffles, French toast (x2) and a kid's Yummy in my Tummy (eggs with meat and fruit). I'm always happy with a great kid's menu and this hit the mark. The fruit was beautiful and fresh. I wish I could have my daughter's breakfast; a nice mix of items for a great price! The waffle was light and fluffy. The French toast was pretty good; I might opt to put the butter on the side because it melts quickly and makes it a little too rich. Service was good. A friend took me to this place saying it's one of the best breakfasts around. I would say it was pretty damn good! Jessie gave us great service and we sat out on the heated patio. I had the Eggs Bennie which were really good but they skimped on the hollandaise sauce a bit. To be honest, that sauce makes or breaks a benedict and I wish I could have had more of it. The patio experience is ruined. Don't bother waiting for a table outside. Just sit inside. 2 reasons. 1. Everyone has to wait in their cars so you sit 20 inches from idling vehicles. It's loud. It's pollutive. And it's nerve wracking. 2. They've chosen to put 2 kitchen carts out in the patio. Front and Center. I'm sure the table/carts are a matter of convenience for the wait staff, but having multiple bus totes full of dirty dishes drawing flies and overflow means trash blows out. It's pretty gross. Our trip to Wild Eggs on a Friday for lunch was great! We had a group of 7 on a Friday during lunchtime and were sat immediately, even with a pretty packed restaurant. Our service was incredible and the whole table was happy with our food! We were in and out in a short amount of time. I got the buffalo chicken omelette and it was delicious! I subbed in fruit as my side and probably would not do that again. It came out pretty dry, like it may have been sitting uncovered in a fridge for a while. Overall, a great meal! read more
