First time at this location. I prefer it to the DV8 Broadway. Bigger, brighter, nice covered patio. Spotted the special --- a peach burger on a brioche bun with bacon, fresh grilled peaches, (They're in season.) arugula, balsamic glaze. Very good. A knife and fork helped. Don't forget DV8 for breakfast and lunch. 74

Tres leches bread pudding, it may be a smaller slice but it's hefty and delicious

Love this space - there's lots more parking, especially compared to the Broadway location, there's an art gallery next door, and more coffee if you need it! Food is always amazing - I always forget what kind of fun specials they have. And the mission this place supports means a lot.

This is an inspiring, supportive, delicious, friendly and stylish restaurant. We liked the idea of supporting those in recovery as it's a real need and a serious matter. I understand. Everyone we interacted with was on point, friendly and exceptional. We ordered a ton of food and enjoyed every single morsel. The rest we got to go for later! Stephanie took our order with a smile and made sure everything was just perfect. Seth suggested the cinnamon roll since it was my first time! We got cinnamon roll bread pudding which was dense and fantastic! We also got perfect over medium eggs, seasoned tater tots, biscuit and gravy, bacon, sausage, eggs Benedict, three kinds of homemade jam, extra seasoning and a major breath of fresh air! Everything was perfect! We don't know when we will pass through Lexington again but when we do, we will definitely stop here! Life can be very good with a little support.

To start DV8 has a cool story involving giving people a second chance with employment and mentoring. But also the food is delicious and they have a nice patio. They have both meals and bakery items. We've been here a couple of times visiting a son at UK. Take yours here when you visit and trick them into thinking you got cool and hip when they left for college.

Food 10/10 Service 5/10. The cashier seemed unhappy to be there. Ambiance 8/10. Good music playlist; still can hear the person across from you when talking; comfortable seating; plant life encompassed in the decor Overall 7/10

Amazing toast! The mini breakfast sliders where divine and shareable. The breakfast smash burger on the croissant was very new and yummy. The space is so nice you have more privacy for a meeting or brunch date.

This visit was a solid 4, but this is definitely a great restaurant. My experience at the other location on a prior trip was just such a stand out. We ordered a breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg and cheese on brioche), tater tots, a fried green tomato BLT and coffee. It was really good. You order at a counter and they bring out the food. They have a display case with their signature pastries, which has helpful to see and salivate a little. My daughter's breakfast sandwich was good. The egg was not quite fried, as ordered, and it dripped out and we had to do some clean up, but not a big deal. My sandwich was good and nice to try something different. It's just a tad heavy and rich. Tots were well seasoned and cooked nice and crisp. Restaurant was hopping. There is a parking lot, but it was full and I parked just a tad bit further away. Overall, really good. I prefer the other location and will keep trying menu items. DV8 will def be in our regular rotation during UK visits

Awesome restaurant and second chance positive concept. There are two locations in Lexington. They have great food, delicious coffee, and are known for their bakery. Definitely worth seeking out!

Breakfast plate! I ate it all!

Amazing breakfast! Everything was fresh. The toast was nice and the jam tastes amazing. My sister had the best burger in town. It smells like a fresh bakery when you walk in. I have an empty plate to prove it

He's from this general area and recommended this spot, among a few others. I picked it because I liked the vibe, which I stand by in hindsight. Last Thursday was an atrocious weather day, raining for most of the time including the entire morning as we drove up to Lexington from Irvine. Since we'd never been over here, Josie's wasn't necessarily easy to spot apart from the other nearby businesses. It WAS very obviously in this larger strip mall situation (which doesn't seem like exactly the right term, but it's definitely in a building with a bunch of other stores), though we had to walk around almost the entire perimeter from our parking spot on Euclid to find it. Once we did, smooth sailing. Despite the fact that it was a weekday, Josie's was pretty busy when we walked in around 10ish. We WERE heading toward MDW, which could have been a factor, but this seems to be a pretty popular establishment regardless. It feels pretty new - this isn't like an old school greasy spoon diner type of situation - with some interesting artwork on the walls, and booths, regular tables and counter stools potentially available. Our colleague was already there and had secured a booth towards the back closer to the bathrooms, which allowed for some fun viewpoints of most of the restaurant. We were already a few days into our debauchery of a road trip, so I kept it pretty well-behaved - I opted for waffles with strawberries. That's it. The food came very quickly, as did the requested coffee, which might have ultimately been more important than the aforementioned waffles in the grand scheme of things. I honestly don't have a lot to say about them other than that they were perfectly fine waffles. The strawberries were fresh, the waffles themselves were cooked through but not too crispy, and that was that. I think it's a little hard to mess up something this basic, and thankfully all was well. The service was excellent throughout and even though I didn't foot any part of the bill (a thank you to our Kentucky colleague), the prices seemed very reasonable to me - though I also have a completely distorted perspective given that most of my consumerism takes place in the NYC area. No issues here; didn't see a ton of reasons to wander back into Lexington unless somehow Coach Cal comes back to coach the Cats and I miraculously score tickets to something at Rupp, but this was a nice little spot.

I must admit when I saw the size of her donuts I laughed because they were so big. Long story short what she got was a cronut not the traditional cake donut. Previously I've had the raspberry filled donut there and it was really good. The caramel turtle is also a cronut. She asked what kind of dough it was my guess was brioche because of the texture. I could be wrong. I liked my donut although it was a little messy to eat . My friend on the other hand didn't care for the cronut. The coffee though is always on point and it didn't disappoint. As for customer service they really are on point. I've been there a total of three times so far and every time they've been friendly and patient. Plenty of seating indoors and on the patio. I think after 1 pm they do donuts made to order (I didn't see the sign when we first walked in until after we placed our order). I just thought they sold out but the woman at the counter told me they do made to order.

The kind where you fully intend to order one... and somehow walk out with two. Or three. The layers are perfectly flaky, the flavors works well well together, and every bite feels like it was engineered to make you say "okay, just one more." Fair warning to anyone with even a shred of restraint: you will lose it the moment you take your first bite.
