Stopped in for a couple of cocktails waiting for another place to open. The staff was super friendly and the cocktails were really good. I got a spicy Bloody Mary and my bride got a dirty old fashioned. Both of us really enjoyed our drinks. Hoping to stop back in to try their entrees. The staff here was very friendly!!

Food, service and vibe are all still outstanding. They even brought a table over to help our big group fit together. Got monsta chicken biscuit again (it's hard to show how big this biscuit truly is- I couldn't finish it and I very rarely leave anything on my plate) along with a mimosa carafe. I like how they give you option of what juice too. Was able to try their chicken tenders also and the Asian spicy chili sauce is unbelievably delicious and fresh. Next time I'll probably go with a spicy chicken sandwich and add that sauce to it. Highly recommend anything on the menu

The food here was delicious. Nice vibe. Small space, so be sure to get in early or you may have to wait. Had a few issues with the server. She seemed very new, because when asked questions, she either guessed wrong or had to go ask. I also asked for no tomato on my sandwich, but it came with two large slices of tomato. Also, we were celebrating a birthday and I asked if they offered any dessert for that. She went and checked, and came back and said no. That's fine, but what really gave me a negative toward this restaurant, was that when I asked the server if I could swap sweet potato fries for the side house salad for no more money, she said yes. I believed her and made the swap, but when the check came, it was $1 more. If I had known that, I would've done things differently. I confronted her about it, and she just apologized, admitted her error, but that was it. No going to find the manager or taking that off my receipt. I get that it's only $1, but to be told one thing and find another, is very unsettling as a customer. ALSO. Management really needs to address this. If you're going to charge a side of sweet potatoes and side house salad BOTH at $5 on the menu's side list, there shouldn't be ANY addition when swapping those out for an entree. This place would've received 5 stars if it weren't for this customer service issue.

Food was great. Location does require you to park offsite but I recommend across the road behind / to the side of Carson's. Menu was eclectic. Food came quickly! It was a decorated and set up really adorable. Our waitress was very nice and the prices were competitive. Only thing I would change is the drink menu. They couldn't make a chocolate martini, so I'd expand the bar a bit but I see this a lot. So it's not uncommon. Definitely would go again!

Pleasant experience for a random week night dinner. I liked everything we ate & drank in here. To start with they had a non alcoholic beer that tasted really good. The thick curly fries were an interesting experience. I got a tofu Bahn Mi and my husband got the same with chicken. I won't say it was the best Bahn Mi, but it hit all the right spots. The server added in a Peruvian cilantro sauce that tasted heavenly. For desert we had the donut coffee cake with coffee icecream, which also was really good. The place had a laid back vibe. Only concern was when ether of the doors opened, it brought jn a lot of cold air from outside. The paintings displayed were from local artists which was quite a discovery for us. Good experience overall, will certainly come back.

The restaurant is one of our go tos. Its like an upscale bar with yummy food. It is very clean. Seats are close but not so close that it's uncomfortable. The drink menu is expansive. The food is fresh and service is good, but kitchen is kinda slow. Its a great place for a relaxing, no rush evening with friends.

Obsessed! Loved the mule & the curry was amazing. Great wait staff! Nice vibe, easy to get seating even for a group of 6.

Gotta get the Smash Burger with fries. Side of Aioli? Gotta get it. Crispy Kale & Brussels, Shrimp? Gotta get it. East End? Gotta go.

My boyfriend, daugher (12) and i came here during our recent trip to Lexington. We found it on yelp and made reservations pretty easily. The ambience was a bit loud but nice and while the wait staff were super busy we never felt abandoned. The menu was varied and the food was super tasty. I came for the spicy tuna rice cakes which were pretty decent and loved the chicken lettuce wraps. I had the spiced pear drink and it was so delicious. Definitely recommend

    Kofta Burger

Came here with my husband on our first day and have been back several times since with no complaints. Great atmosphere, staff and selection of menu options. I do wish they would change up the menu occasionally, it's been more or less the same the past few years.

The selection is top-tier (easily one of the best I've seen in the Bluegrass State), but the hospitality is what sets this place apart. We ended up chatting with the owner, and he treated us like old friends who had been coming there for twenty years. It's rare to find a spot that has both a world-class whiskey list and zero pretension. It's the perfect atmosphere--historic building, great energy, and people who truly know their bourbon. Pro Tip: Pull up a stool, ask for a recommendation, and be prepared to stay a while. You're among friends here.

Will definitely be back here next time I'm in Lex.

The decor and lighting were exceptionally curated, and just overall it was an incredible space, great for hanging out with small groups. The bar staff were all knowledgeable and efficient in their service. The band playing was incredible on the semi-outdoor enclosed patio (there were heaters so was quite comfortable), and jsut overall was quite fun. Prices are a tad on the higher side but that is to be expected with a speakeasy and cocktails. Would definitely recommend and will try to return for any of their offerings, whether it be just the lounge or even a glass blowing class.
