We arrived on a busy Friday night, with UK playing Kentucky in Lexington and were seated within 10 minutes by the super friendly hostess. David was our server and he was hospitable, happy to make recommendations and on top of refills and checking in on us. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and cheese curds to start, both were super tasty! For dinner, we enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich and a Cesar salad and baked potato. The Cesar is one of the best I've had and the chicken sandwich is the best grilled sandwich I've enjoyed out in a long time. Bake potatoes was not fully cooked cold on inside and hard. It was replaced and the other came out under cooked the same. Just took home to cook in microwave. Brussels sprouts was over cooked and so hard you couldn't eat. Bacon was. Burnt, when you picked up it fell apart. Chicken tenders and food was almost brown because the grease hadn't been changed in a long time. We ordered a lot of different options and either it was too sweet or too salty or bland and not enough flavor. Also something we're not cooked like enough like the potatoes in the potato salad still had a crunch. The service was also good the only bad thing is parking. We parked in the underground garage. They said they will validate it so it's free but they only validate it for 2 hours. The bartender Raphael was gracious, recommended his fav drinks which were excellently prepared. I had the smash burger, yummy! It was perfectly sized, not humongous. In my opinion this is an amazing place for a quality meal. The views on the rooftop bar are incredible- wish I had visited a bit earlier to not be so dark outside. Service meet the needs for dinner.
