Fabulous breakfast and quick service. I ordered the avocado toast with two eggs and a side of turkey sausage. The multigrain toast was thick and the avocado even thicker! Perfectly-made sunny side up eggs and the sausage wasn't too salty. To top it off, their signature coffee is a nice Columbian roast. I ordered the Elote Mexican Street Corn Hash which was pretty good with the exception that there was no corn except for maybe five pieces. My husband and I actually joked about it throughout brunch because this dish is the reason that we came to First Watch. I'm addicted to street corn so I was excited to try this new spin on the dish. We decided to dub it "An interpretation of Street Corn Hash". There were certainly plenty of potatoes and the eggs were cooked to perfection! The tortillas are made of corn so that helped with the interpretation :D Despite there not being any real corn involved in the dish (shortages maybe?) it was still a decent dish, just not at all what we had expected. I got the Kale Tonic to drink and it was incredibly refreshing. They were busy training new hires and I'm so glad that they've got the extra help! Not sure why or how I had never been to a First Watch, but decided to come in this morning with the family after my sons 8th grade promotion and came away very impressed. Great atmosphere, loved the water and coffee at the tables and service was great! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Chickachanga and it was excellent. Excellent service especially on a crazy day. The food though was just ok. Ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict with potatoes this time. One of the eggs Benedicts was good with the beautiful oozy yolk, but the other was a much smaller poached egg and it was overcooked. This location moved a few miles up the road and made so really nice improvements in the process. The decor is updated and more welcoming. And the parking is much larger and more accessible. A friend and I decided to pop in for a late lunch the location was not busy and we were seated quickly. We ordered drinks but it took awhile for our server to return and take our order, even a manager popped over to check on the delay. Food was tasty we both had soup and salad combos I often get these and I have not been they are always tasty. When we went to check out the computer was down and we ended up needing to scrape together some cash to make payment easier. Hope they get this worked out. I got the chickichanga, which is a burrito with eggs, chicken, chorizo sausage, green chiles, cheddar and Monterey cheese, onions, and avocado. The burrito was toasted and the right mix of crispy and soft. The cheese was gooey and the chorizo was spicy. I also got hash potatoes, which were average, and the million dollar bacon, a decadent dish of applewood smoked bacon cooked with maple syrup, black pepper, brown sugar, and cayenne. The service here is pretty good, better than most, but not super attentive. This is mostly due to the larger separation of tables due to covid. The food had a great flavor, my BLT Benedict was delicious but my daughters chocolate pancake had a larger side of bacon than on the Benedict. My wife ordered the carnitas burrito, a seasonal special, and it came without carnitas, haha. Everytime we go (twice now) there is some spectacular error that really makes the meal a disappointment, and their cleanliness is below par. I can't recommend this place. read more

The newest First Watch on Richmond just down the road from their former location is very nice. The interior is an excellent upgrade. The staff was friendly and eager to please. I ordered from the Spring Menu. The Salmon with Tzaziki Toast was Delish, and the eggs that accompanied it were perfectly cooked. I assume, if you preferred, you could have your eggs scrambled. Decided to try First Watch on a Sunday afternoon. I was dining alone so I was able to sit at the community table but I definitely wouldn't recommend large parties come here on Sundays. It was very crowded and the wait staff though very nice seemed quite overworked. As for the food, I got pancakes, bacon, and coffee. We go to this location frequently. The food is good. However every time we have been recently they start sweeping the floors in the booths right next to us while we are eating. Not only is it unsanitary with the brooms with dust and dirt hanging off of them it also gives the impression they want you to hurry up and get out. We were there way before closing. We went for brunch on New Year's Day. I got the Cinnamon Chip Pancakes with scrambled eggs with some cheese added to the eggs. I substituted the meat and got fried potatoes. The meal was really good. My boyfriend got the Chickachanga. It came with fried potatoes. He liked the Chickachanga and he thought the fried potatoes were "decent, they weren't anything special." We arrived around noon, the restaurant was packed and we waited for a table 5-10 minutes. I really liked that they had complementary coffee up front for those waiting for a table.
