After a 20-minute wait, which is typical for a Sunday after church. we were greeted and seated promptly once our time was up. We ordered the Million Dollar Potatoes (mediocre but not bad), the Elevated Egg Sandwich, and the Tri-Fecta dish. The food came out quickly and was very tasty, making it well worth the wait. The food and fresh juices are consistently great. There is an attempt to make the food healthier than other breakfast restaurants and there are healthy options on the menu. Note that the pancakes are really large but delicious. The Belgium waffles are light and fluffy. The service is usually good. The restaurant is large and the tables are nicely spaced to avoid feeling cramped. The restrooms are large and clean. Note instead of the server taking your payment, you go to the front to pay, sometimes this is a drag because the line to pay is long, however if you ask, the server will take your payment at the table. read more

This morning I ordered the Avacado Toast and it was inedible. The Avacado was not ripe and I could not even chew the pieces. I am so happy that this First Watch was bigger. Most of the first watches I have dined in have been on the smaller side. From entering the restaurant to leaving, everything was nice! The staff opened the door for my family and the server to prompt to greet us at the table. Service was very quick and the food was hot. I like First Watch because they have healthy options that are appetizing. We ordered the egg bowl, egg omelet and kid's oatmeal with a kid's waffle. The bowl and omelet had goat cheese, a green vegetable, tomatoes, and potatoes (bowl). The kid's oatmeal had oats, brown sugar, blueberries, strawberries and banana. The kid's waffle was a plain waffle with sprinkled powdered sugar. Anytime with my family is a meaningful time but I am grateful to spend time with them while eating a healthy, hearty meal!! read more

We've been to First Watch at other locations several times, but this is the first visit in which our food was not great. French toast, dry as a bone. Eggs overcooked. No water until we specifically requested it, which was also a new experience. Two black coffees and breakfast for two was $47 and change, before tip. Don't mind to pay for good value, but this trip was disappointing. read more

First time eating at this location. It was a Sunday morning around 10:15 and there was about a 15 minute wait for two people and there was probably a longer wait for the people who came after us because when we left there were people waiting outside. Taylor was our waitress and she did a good job. The only issue we had was that the toast was wrong, which was an easy and quick fix. The food tasted good. They don't provide a military discount but they do donate once a year to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. I'm a disabled veteran and appreciate their donation even though I've never received anything from that organization. read more

The first thing we noticed is how accessible the location was, accessible entrance, dine-in, takeout and no-contact delivery options are available. The outdoor patio offers a excellent setting option. now what's on the menu. The breakfast option I had was the Sunny Seoul Hash, consisting of shaved seared pork tossed with freshly seasoned potatoes, diced red bell peppers, kimchi, Cheddar and Monterey Jack. Topped with two cage-free eggs cooked any style, scallions, sesame seeds and gochujang aioli. It was amazing! Prepared fresh to order and was served hot. The Gochujanj Aioli is truly the highlight, and I wished the offer it for sale separately. My wife hat the Cinnamon Chip Pancake Breakfast. A excellent option for anyone that loves pancakes. You have the option of Two cage-free eggs cooked any style with a cinnamon chip pancake and your choice of hardwood smoked bacon or chicken, pork or turkey sausage. I also had a side of their Million Dollar Bacon, which is Four slices of our signature hardwood smoked bacon baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple syrup drizzle. a excellent side to complete any meal but great on its own. They offer a wide range of sides as well as a traditional breakfast, which consist of Two cage-free eggs any style with your choice of bacon, smoked ham, chicken sausage patties, turkey or pork sausage links. Served with our whole grain artisan toast, all-natural house preserves and fresh, seasoned potatoes. They have daily offerings from their juice bar featuring all natural ingredients, I opt for the Purple Haze, that consist of Lemon, cane sugar, butterfly pea flower tea and a hint of lavender. It is beautiful drink and has a flavoral taste. They also have a wide offering of coffees and cocktails such as Bloody Mary to Mimosa. They have countless breakfast options it is hard to decide what to have. They offer sandwich's as well that are served with the soup of the day. Some of their items are seasonal, so have a back up item, but with the wide selection they offer you will be sure to find something. Finally the service was excellent, and timely. I don't do much breakfast food, but my wife and daughter adore it. So I have been seven times and have had seven different dishes. From the Monterey Club and Havarti sandwich to the Chickchanga and Stand tacos... the later two are egg involved. All that to say... I haven't had a poorly done dish! They were all great flavor profiles with excellent service and quality. The servers are professional and friendly but they also know their menu.. they've tried them. We've never had reason to offer complaints on food or services. T plating of food has been nice and offering of drinks and refills are more than usual places. The prices seem steep for the over all lack of ambiance and seems noisy for a hearing impaired person to hear. read more

Me and my boyfriend ate brunch here this morning. He got bacon, an egg sandwich and I got a butterly pea tea drink and eggs benedict with smoked salmon. The flavors were delicious! The atmosphere was so cute! I love the vibe of the place. Everything tasted so fresh and was nicely seasoned and delicious. Our server was a bit odd and seemed scared of us? It's a good restaurant, especially if you favor a high calorie exotic breakfast. Pricing is on the expensive side. An omelette will set you back $23, and that's without potatoes or a meat side. Up-charging is the norm. If you substitute avocado slices for the sour cream that adds $1.79 to your bill. One small slice of gluten free toast is a whopping $2.79. That's in addition to the $14 omelette. There seems to be every kind of waffle or pancake combination that you can dream up. Looks tasty, but calories run up to 1,500 or more for breakfast. Is the food tasty? Absolutely! You must decide for yourself if it's a good value. Service can be spotty. Sometimes slow depending on how crowded the restaurant is at the time. I tend to get my toast about five minutes after receiving my entree. Half the time I must ask for butter after my toast is served. In fairness to the staff, I never actively complain. Complaints aside, I would still recommend this restaurant for a good meal. Have your wallet ready. read more

First class all around! If your in the mood for breakfast or the brunch lunch then this is your place. The sandwiches and salads are fresh and plenty to eat. Very clean and the service is top notch for sure! You might pay a few extra dollars here but worth every penny. First Watch is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is consistently good across all locations. Service is great too.

The good.... The food was very good and prepared well. Everything was fresh and unique. The bad... the service was non existent. The server never checked on us and left our dirty dishes on the table while we drank coffee after we finished eating. We both had the traditional breakfast and coffee and our bill was over $35 and after tip over $40. Way too expensive for what we had. read more

This is one of my go to places in Louisville for breakfast. My brother is getting medical care in Nicholasville and I saw they had a First Watch. I stopped in this morning and was greeted by smiling faces and was seated right away. As always, the food was delicious! The reason for my post was the outstanding and caring service I received from Maddileigh! She was very thoughtful and sincere with her words after she knew of my reason for stopping in. I appreciate her honest concern and compassion regarding my brother and it truly brightened my day. I'm sure she is in her late teens or early 20's, but she brightens my hope for this generation!
