    Burrito Buttermilk Pancakes
    Mark J.

Had a great experience at Beaus. I ordered the buttermilk pancake, and it was honestly one of the best pancakes I've ever had. It was perfectly balanced, and that subtle hint of orange zest really took it over the top. I also had the burrito alongside the pancake, which was a solid choice. The sausage inside was especially flavorful -- it tasted fresh, like a quality market-style sausage, and really stood out. The space is small but comfortable, and the service was great. Overall, I was very happy with my visit and would definitely return for more. -Mr.

Pretty sure this is the best breakfast place in Lexington. 1 inch thick pancake with maple syrup and their own brown butter. Pancake texture is just right. The French omelette is very creamy. They seems to be doing everything right. Price is very reasonable too with quality ingredients

I have read and heard so many good comments about this place I finally tried it and I certainly was NOT disappointed. I was a little apprehensive looking at the menu. It is unique and a relatively limited menu for breakfast/brunch. I ordered the Hot Jam Chicken (I believe it's their signature dish) and it was incredible!! I could get that every weekend and be very happy. The chicken is battered in some delicious and crispy crust! It is so delicious and I can't wait to have it again!!

Avocado Toast, Buttermilk Pancakes - A plate of two thick slices of French toast topped with a dollop of butter and syrup is presented on a white dish. The toast appears golden brown and is stacked with syrup pooling around the base. A side salad with shredded lettuce and a light dressing is served on a rectangular white plate, with a knife placed beside it. The setting includes a wooden table with napkins, utensils, and a cup of condiments in the background.

Loved this spot for breakfast. I ordered the avocado toast with an over easy egg and it was cooked perfectly. The toast was so good and I loved the fresh greens on top. We also tried the famous pancake and now I get why it's so popular. It was super fluffy and the syrup was amazing. One of the best pancakes I've had. The service was great too. Our server was attentive and you could tell he was really passionate about the place. It was calm, clean, and not hectic at all which made it a perfect spot to relax and catch up with friends. I would definitely recommend it for breakfast or brunch. I also heard they will be opening for dinner soon which is exciting for anyone who can't make it in early.

Went for brunch at Beau's Cafe this morning and I am quite impressed. This place is quaint and modern. As soon as you walk in it's like boom....hostess station. We were met with the friendliest staff. It was just a couple minutes and we were served hot steaming coffee which was amazing. They have a wide variety of breakfast brunch food to satisfy the sweet or savory foodie. I chose the French Omelet with greens and my companion chose the breakfast burrito. The waitress did ask if I had ever had a French omelette before which I had not, she said it was like soft, soft scrambled eggs. She was spot on because that's exactly what it was like and it was delicious. The greens were crisp and lightly dressed, which was a perfect accompaniment to the smooth and flavorful omelette. I didn't try the breakfast burrito, but it looked quite tasty. The servings are quite large. We both ended up taking to go containers. I would definitely visit this place again because I did see the Dutch baby and the pancakes go to another table and my mouth was watering.

    Burrito! Fantastic! Great flavors!!

OMG! Stopped in while running a few errands! We shared the Burrito, fantastic blend of flavors, will definitely get again. We each had a Dutch Baby & it was phenomenal!! They were very busy & still very accommodating & fast. The atmosphere was nice as well. Well lit, not too loud, pretty well spaced out.

Such a cute place for breakfast or brunch! The entire restaurant is well themed. My pancakes were very sweet and had zesty orange -- I almost needed every other bite to be savory and I wish I knew that prior to ordering. They're huge! My partners chicken sandwich was also well rounded. The chili crunch was more of a dry crunch rather than an oil chili crunch. The food took a while to come out but I didn't mind since the quality was there. Service was great I didn't feel rushed or too checked in on. I will be coming back and would recommend for breakfast/brunch.

Caramel latte and bourbon latte - Two coffee cups with latte art are positioned on a wooden table, one in the foreground and one in the background. The latte art features leaf-like patterns. A person is reaching for the cup in the background, which is on a saucer. The setting appears to be a café or casual dining area.

This is the best place I have eaten at in a LONG time! We were in town visiting a friend and decided to make a drive over this way before heading home. Everything was perfect. There was no wait. Our server, Grant, was very friendly and attentive. Grant mentioned this place tries to get everything they serve locally, which is awesome! The coffee was delicious. My husband got coffee with bourbon cream, he really enjoyed it. Everything we ordered was crispy. My husband's burrito had a nice crisp crunch to the tortilla with a lot of avocado, not skimpy! The green sauce on the side was flavorful. The pancake was cooked with a perfect crispy crunch with each bite you take. I read other comments saying there was an orange taste but we tasted lemon! The hot biscuit was also delectable with the salad on the side that had a wonderful dressing on it. Lastly, the cheesy potato was the best hash brown we have tried. If we lived locally we would come to this place all the time!

Buttermilk pancakes and Hot Jam Chicken!

Wow oh wow! Beau's Cafe is a gem of the Lexington foodie scene! We found Beau's on Tik Tok and made our way over to enjoy the Buttermilk Pancakes and Hot Jam Chicken. The pancakes were light, fluffy and had an orange zest to them that made them melt in your mouth amazing. The Hot Jam Chicken was the perfect blend of crunchy, sweet and hot. The garlic chili crunch with the apricot jam on the biscuit with fried chicken was delightful. We were seated quickly by our friendly server and the atmosphere was crisp, fun and bright. A visit to Beau's Cafe is a must if you live here or are visiting!

The side of pancake. - A large, round French toast is presented on a white plate, topped with a small pat of butter. The toast is golden brown and surrounded by syrup that has soaked into the bread and pooled on the plate. The setting appears to be a restaurant or café, with a wooden table and a person in the background wearing a beige or brown jacket.

The Bloody Mary is delicious but it's the pancakes that you need to order! They are out of this world. Ask to be seated in Grant's section. Very nice guy and accommodating our last minute wanting to add that pancake. Place fills up fast on the weekend. We came on our way out of town and glad we stopped in.

We all ordered the breakfast biscuits and had the Dutch baby for dessert. We split the breakfast potatoes and paired it with some ketchup. We enjoyed everything. Beau's cafe is a great brunch spot! Their Dutch Baby is delicious I love that lemon zest! They have great breakfast biscuits as well. We liked their crispy chicken sandwich too! Service has been great the several times we've been as well! Good brunch spot if you're in the Beaumont area in Lexington! They have it decorated so cute inside. The service was good.

Dutch Boy, 2 Cage Free Eggs, bacon. - The image shows two plates of food on a wooden table. The top plate contains scrambled eggs and two strips of cooked bacon. The bottom plate features a pastry topped with whipped cream, mixed berries, and a dusting of powdered sugar. The setting appears to be a casual dining environment, possibly a café or breakfast spot.

Looking for an excellent breakfast, then Beaus Cafe is the place! The Dutch Boy is delectable, warm, with blackberries, not too sweet at all, just sweet enough. My husband had the hot jam chicken, light fluffy biscuit, chicken super moist, delicious. Warning, the jam is spicy. I asked for a side of crispy bacon and a soft scrambled egg and amazingly they were both cooked exactly to order. The bathrooms are nice and well maintained. The service on a busy Sunday morning, was a bit slow, but not excessively slow. This will be our go to brunch spot.

Buttermilk Pancakes - Two large, thick pancakes are stacked on a white plate, topped with a pat of butter and drizzled with syrup. The pancakes are golden brown and appear fluffy. The background shows a wooden wall, a cup, a glass of iced beverage, and a menu, indicating a casual dining environment.
    Jennifer E.

Pancakes were amazing, unique, and worth the try. Bourbon maple with a brown butter and a citrus like flavor/hint in the pancakes. They have mastered the buttermilk pancake height. However, drip coffee tasted like folders and it was not a warm feeling inside. Not the best seats, and a tad stiff. Was cold in there so being a jacket. Cold brew was good.

    Best pancake ever!

The chorizo biscuits and gravy revolutionized how I approach gravy at home when I make it. The various eggs Benedict dishes are great and I always pick either Katie's tex mex one or the cali one, both are great representations and do the name well. Eggs were perfect, potatoes crispy, and muffin the perfect ending. The apple dish was the one thing I wasn't a fan of this time - far too middle American sweet, in my opinion, it needs far more apples (slightly less baked), far more crumble, and far less of the syrup and whipped cream. I ended up just taking the apples and crumble and eating it with the muffin. Service is always quick and great, seating perfect for breakfast.

Our waiter was just perfect, gave us thorough descriptions without being dismissive or pretentious in the slightest about questions, fantastic suggestions on specific dishes as well as quantities and orders. He was attentive without hovering, made some jokes, and so much more; just over all provided fantastic service which made the whole experience even better. The food itself was also quite good. The menu is split into appetizers, pastas, and entrees, all designed to be shared; and so for two people we split 2 appetizers, 1 pasta, and one entree and it was more than enough food (actually had to pack some to bring back). While all the dishes were fantastic, the standouts for us were the burrata and the half chicken, just absolutely packed with great flavors. Would definitely recommend, and will likely try to return.

Be prepared to yell at your table partner. Between the amount of people talking loudly (I assume to attempt to talk over the loud music) and the music, and being seated really near other people, having a conversation was difficult.
