Every single time I step foot in this restaurant I feel like the only person here. They are so kind; and there is NO doubt in my mind that this is the best environment around. The whole staff is so sweet and complimentary. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I am so excited to have a doctor's appointment next door, just knowing I can eat here for lunch! They are the kindest and most friendly staff at any place I've been. I have to also talk about the food. It's so good! EVERY time! No matter what, I've never had a bad meal here before. This location just opened last Monday! It's a gorgeous restaurant and this was their first Sunday serving too. The words out already, as it should be! No wait why. We showed up for brekkie, but by the time we left, lots of peeps waiting for the goodness. We've been fans of First Watch for a long time. You can't go wrong with them for brekkie, brunch, or lunch! The food and service were top shelf! We were taken great care of and the food, my wife had the healthy Tri Athlete and I have one of my fave omelets, chile chorizo, was super good and filling. Easter brunch after church was the perfect time to check out the new First Watch location in Frankfort! I used the check in feature on the company website before leaving and we were seated upon arrival with no waiting. The spring menu came with the regular menu and both the mint mocha iced coffee and the wild berry lavender French toast caught my eye. Hubby ordered The Works omelette and we split an order of bacon. The mint mocha iced coffee was delicious and cold and I could have enjoyed two if it weren't for the caffeine and calories included! The French toast was delicious, just sweet enough with blueberries and sliced strawberries on top with the lavender cream but not too sweet. I've had crisper bacon, but the restaurant was full and I'm sure the cooks were busy! Hubby said that his omelette was perfect. We enjoyed our meal, as we have at other First Watch locations. Glad to see Frankfort get another dine-in breakfast option. I have eaten at other locations several times so I had an idea of what to expect. In addition to their regular menu, their spring menu is out now. I opted for the traditional breakfast. Ordered eggs over medium but they were definitely over easy with runny egg whites. I know that sounds picky but you'd think a breakfast place could cook eggs to order appropriately. Pork sausage links were ok, but wished I had ordered the bacon. My husband had the Trifecta with bacon, eggs fried hard, and a waffle. It wasn't really bad, but disappointing to not have eggs cooked correctly for the price. Service was good, especially considering there was a boil water advisory. Alijah was our server and brought bottled water frequently. I will be back, but probably not on a regular basis. read more

Usually a pretty reliable breakfast. But not today. I don't care how you order your eggs cooked, you do order them COOKED. A meal out is becoming an ever more expensive thing. The least a restaurant should do is cook it reasonably right. And the least the wait staff should do is glance at the plate to see if something is amiss... I really try to not frequent chains while on vacation but we were looking for somewhere close before we headed back home and there are few of these back home so I know they are good. This didn't disappoint. The coffee was great. Tasted like real coffee not the watered down Folgers in the diners we usually try to eat at. The biscuits and gravy were yummy as were the whole grain pancakes that came with warm maple syrup. read more

The service was okay, but made us feel rushed. There are no substitutions or add-ons at all. That's not even an option. My omelet came with greens. The greens already had an odd Italian-type dressing mixed in. I have been told by others that most customers only stay as long as 30 minutes. The food is too expensive to rush through having to eat it. To me, the restaurant was brighter on one side (like grocery light brightness) and dark on the other side. The restaurant reminded me of being in a big, open cafeteria. Wayyyy too loud. My husband and I were seated in the middle of the restaurant in a two-seater table. The chairs were horrifically stiff and hard. We hardly had room to fit our plates and drinks on the table. The food was okay but nothing special at all. Both my husband and I are at a loss as to what all the fuss is about. Too many other places to spend money and time where we aren't rushed and are comfortable and enjoy the food. (Yes, this was our first experience with First Watch). We will not eat at First Watch again, regardless of the location. read more

I live here two minutes from first watch and the service was excellent. I've been there twice on Sunday and had Marianne as a server. She is wonderful. She took wonderful care of us, and made a visit a pleasure. The food is excellent. I get the Parma hash and it is wonderful. So glad you all are here in town. read more
