My granddaughter went with a chicken tender kids meal that comes with fries and drink. My daughter went with the pork chop dinner that comes with two sides. My wife went with the adult chicken tenders meal wow I did the avocado, bacon burger, onion rings. This is a Military friendly restaurant. The floor is falling apart . I think the breakfast menu is the way to go.

Typical diner food with top notch service. We decided this would be our breakfast spot on our departure day out of Frankfort on a Monday morning. Great way to send us off! The diner has that classic 50s-60s vibe with the decor and traditional diner offerings, right down to the Folgers coffee. Food came out fresh, hot, and delicious. No complaints here!

The burger was about eight very good well seasoned but them. Onion rings them. Onions are golden. Absolutely gold medal quality onion rings.

OK, here's what we got a hit in gym in Frankfurt. This place had the best onion rings I've ever ate in my life.. The service we knew we was in good hands when the lady took our order without writing it down and absolutely nailed. It never left her empty and the place is very clean absolutely wonderful very good experience. I must go to if you're in Frankfurt.

While in Frankfort for the Great Race watching the antique cars go by, what better place to grab a bite to eat than this cute little retro diner. The waitress was friendly and hard working running from table to table making sure everyone was taken care of. We had the fried green tomato BLT with a side of sweet potato fries and a chef salad with blue cheese dressing. We split both and the waitress graciously provided an extra plate. The salad was huge, fresh and delicious! The BLt was full of bacon with a crisp fried tomato, juicy and delicious. The sweet potato fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and very tasty!

Exactly what you want in a diner. Between the two of us our breakfast was delicious. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and the portions were plenty! Definitely a great little spot to check out and very reasonably priced.

Got here for breakfast at 8:49am. They had a huge selection of food to choose from. They even was selling burgers for breakfast. The place is cool. It transforms you to a disco era. There are records all over the walls. The food was excellent. The prices were great! Great service!

Old-school diner with 50s-60s pop music ambience. Being dinosaurs ourselves, we recognized most of the single records on the wall. Coffee is traditional diner coffee - think Folgers ground in the can. That home-cooking approach works for the food, though. I had a homestyle omelet with mushrooms and cheddar, has browns, and biscuit. My husband comes here whenever in the area for the Monte Cristo sandwich, which hr can't find too many places anymore. The handwritten additions and price changes on the menu captured the vibe of the place perfectly. In short, come for the food and hit your favorite coffee bar on the way home.

Found this diner while I was in Frankfort one day and decided to stop here. The ambience is definitely beautiful and retro. And with retro style actually comes with retro prices. I was shocked when I seen the price of all the foods. Very affordable and not to mention, the food is actually really good. Service was great as well. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

CUTEST DINER! BEST FOOD EVERRRRR!!! SO CHEAP! The club sandwich with a side of Mac n cheese and a salad was PERFECT after our tour of Buffalo Trace Distillery. It is a cute 50s style diner in the downtown area and the food was amazing!! The service was perfect, our server was so nice and sweet. Clean, airy and nice restaurant, and the total bill for everything pictured was only like $20 (pre tip!)

This is a cool diner in downtown Frankfort on Main St., hence the name. When you walk in, you are immediately transported to the U.S. 1950 by the decor. There are vinyl LPs and 45s tastefully displayed on the walls along with album covers and memofrom the 50s, 60s and 70s era. Also the music that is playing takes you back to those years. I walked to the window at the back of the dining area and was immediately greeted and asked if I was dining-in or taking out. I ordered an omelette with sweet potato fries. I was so happy and surprised to see that they (sweet potatoes) were on the menu. The portion size was just right. When I first saw the meal, I thought it was too small. Then, I realized that most restaurants give HUGE portions (for an entre) and I always take food home. Usually from one normal restaurant dinner entre, I eat three more meals from the leftovers. So, this meal portion was for one meal only and I appreciated that. The omelette was not overly salted and neither were the sweet potato fries. So, I could taste the flavor of the food without it being drowned in heavy, fatty sauces. I really enjoyed this dining experience and I can see myself returning to try other menu items.

We've come here several times lately, and have been pleased every time. I particularly enjoy the salads, and have enjoyed the Cobb salad with grilled chicken, chicken fried steak dinner, and the BLT salad. Hubby has also enjoyed several different items including the beef tips dinner, BLT salad, and the hot brown potato. The place is small, and it sometimes gets crowded, but the service is always personal.

I ordered the burger without the bun or fries, and it was so overly salty that I struggled to finish it. My wife had the CACIO de PEPE, which tasted quite different from what we're used to, and the pasta was overcooked for our liking. My brother-in-law ordered the fish tacos, which were easily the standout dish at the table. My sister's chicken cesar salad was decent but nothing particularly memorable. The restaurant itself feels a bit unexpected for a rural setting, which may help explain its strong ratings. For me, though, it's not a place I'd go out of my way to visit again--more of a "fine if someone else suggests it" kind of spot.

The atmosphere is super cozy and we felt welcomed from our first steps in. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and we met Michaela who took fabulous care of us for the evening! We settled in to a couple of their specialty cocktails (midwinters night dream and cardamaro manhattans - yummy I'll say) and the Brussel Sprout starter. Let me say to come hungry because the portions are large but yummy. The sprouts are a meal all by themselves! But there's more! I had the porcini rubbed filet and Teresa had the cabbage confit. Both portions were sizable and while I know she loved her cabbage, I was in heaven with a perfectly prepared filet that just melted in my mouth. Plus the asparagus spears and the Okinawa sweet potato mash were perfect accompaniment! Sadly, there was so much goodness we ended up bringing some home and we'll have to come back for dessert and another menu sampling. All in all a very memorable experience and a great place for a birthday dinner! But we'll be back just because! Special closing shout out to Michaela for taking such great care of us.

Alicia W provided exceptional service and was a joy to talk to. We tried the caviar and duck rilletes to share. The rilletes were the only thing we thought we could have done without. The duck is a bit rich and stringy and the bread really detracted from the dish - too hard and chewy. That said, the portions of each were very generous. Next we had the aguachile and corzetti with garlic scape pesto. The shrimp reminded me of ceviche as far as flavor profile. The pasta was unique from our perspective - never had corzetti. Both dishes were very good. Next was the salad as we do not like beets or gazpacho. Nice fresh salad with a dressing that was better than a typical vinaigrette. For mains we had the duck and the ribeye. Duck was prepared perfectly and the ribeye had a pesto and the patatas braves with accompanying (mild) chili sauce was a nice side addition. Very Espana!! Couldn't finish the steak by that point but enjoyed it a few days later. And finally the cheesecake and chocolate hazelnut choux pastry. The pastry was awesome!! All-in-all we were very happy we dined here.
