Tried this place out on my way to lex from louisville and was super impressed! First off the space itself is really cute and comfy, loved the ambiance. The people working there were very helpful and friendly. But the kicker was that they make all of their syrups in house! It makes such a difference. I ordered an iced white mocha and it was perfect, just a touch of sweetness, nothing overpowering which is the direct product of them making their flavored syrups in house. Such a stellar spot to grab a cup if you're in the area! read more

As someone who had never been to a coffee shop before, I was immediately welcomed by the friendly smiles and greetings from the baristas. While the drink I ordered was good, I'm still new to specialty coffee and look forward to trying more of their offerings. For an independently owned business, the atmosphere is incredibly inviting, with plenty of tables and comfortable seating to relax and enjoy your visit. We were staying in the apt above this coffee house and just had to check it out. Super cute. Its inside the old firehouse. They have homage to that on their wall which is really cute The staff was friendly and the owner was on site. We enjoyed talking with them. The drink I ordered was amazing. I had a vanilla latte with homney and cinnamon. Yum yum yum. Their donuts and baked goods were priced really well 1.75-5.00. read more

Espresso Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself On my way to a distillery, I figured a coffee stop was required and this place was the perfect find . Fantastic coffee at an even better price, with a roomy layout and staff that make you feel right at home. I left caffeinated, happy, and a little happy about finding such a location. I wish we lived closer to Engine House because their iced mocha and donuts were sooo good. The coffee shop was really cozy and the staff were really friendly. We also got some of the coffee beans to take home and definitely need to go back to get some more. read more

Excellent and friendly service, delicious coffee, and cool ambiance. A comfortable place to be and do some writing. I love the decor. A local told me that this is the best coffee shop in town and I believe it. Perfect location on Main Street in downtown Frankfort. I really enjoyed my cafe au lait, and my boyfriend loved his iced hibiscus berry tea. I tried a few sips of his drink and it was so refreshing. I wish I had more time in Frankfort. I would have definitely returned to this sweet spot. read more

This is an old firehouse converted into a cute coffee shop. Piping hot coffee and a bright and airy interior makes this a popular spot. Let's not forget the courteous service which is a major plus. It's street parking only but we were able to find a close spot nearby(free of course). read more

Some of the most expensive coffee I've had, but it has a cool aesthetic. I'm always down for local coffee shops so I hope this place succeeds. Latte was alright, got one of the special drinks. We were staying in an Airbnb across the street, so we popped over a couple of times for our morning coffee. They have such tasty sweet drinks, and you can really taste the espresso or coffee! I love mine strong so you can taste the sweet flavors AND the coffee, and this is perfect. Service here is so quick, the baristas were all also very friendly. Highly recommend! read more

Very very cute layout and decor! However, service was incredibly rude-- my questions regarding ordering were met with hostility? This I could have forgiven, had my extremely overpriced and flavorless drink not been almost entirely ice. It's very likely that I just caught them at an abnormally off time, especially when reading other glowing reviews, but nevertheless I won't be returning. read more

Great new coffee shop in downtown Frankfort on Main St. just around the corner from the courthouse in a vintage firehouse. They offer many different delicious hot or cold coffee drinks that are served fast. They usually have some pastries and doughnuts available. My favorite so far has been the iced caramel macchiato but their hot cookie butter seasonal coffee was awesome as well. read more

Wonderful place! Delicious pour over from a nearby roaster, great open air atmosphere, all local ingredients/pastries, extremely friendly employees, and a great price! Some of our group waited in line at Buffalo Trace while we grabbed coffee for everyone and the entire group was pleased! Would definitely recommend! read more

How do we know for sure? We have an Alaska area code. We have snatched them right out of the Kenai River. Farm raised is night and day from Wild caught salmon. If you know then ya know. There is a big price difference, and we are willing to pay for it. It's very misleading to pass off farm raised as wild. Due to this we will NOT be going out of our way to return.

Be sure to try or get some of the original "Bourbon Ball" Invented by Ruth Booe in 1938. It consists of a creamy bourbon center with the kick of real bourbon, covered in dark chocolate, and topped with a Southern pecan. I did taste that kick when I sampled it. I purchased a variety box of make my own as well as some bourbon balls to take back home for family and friends. Got my mom some dark chocolate toffees since she loves toffee.
