We stopped by at 11:15 am on Monday, 11/4/24. No wait, quick service. I got a Dirty Chai Latte, which wasn't the best I've had. We also got a Blueberry Muffin, which was good, and Banana Nut Muffin, which we didn't like as much. The Bacon Cheddar Scone was good. Very cute on the inside and outside. Good vibes. Wish I had liked my coffee more!
We stopped in The Amsden for an afternoon drink. The coffee shop/kid play area concept was amazing. The kids play area was creative and looked like kids would love it. It was not open when we arrived. The iced apple cider was delicious and the coffee my friends enjoyed hit the spot. The decor inside and out was perfect for the fall season. There was only one person behind the bar and she handled all the orders very well. We chose to enjoy our drinks outside in the beautiful weather. There was plenty of outside seating. The Amsden was a cute little coffee shop. We were very happy we stopped in.

The person who made my drink was kind and I loved seeing the activities they have for kids! I went on a Saturday and the downtown area was buzzing! So much so it was a little difficult to find parking. If I lived closer, I would try this place more often.

During our visit, it was absolutely bustling with visitors, and the staff still managed to handle our orders with the greatest efficiency. Plus, the coffee is delicious! I opted for the Iced Coffee with Bourbon Caramel Cold Foam, and coming from someone who typically isn't a big coffee drinker (but is a huge bourbon fan), trust me when I tell you this beverage was delicious! The old bank building where The Amsden is housed has preserved all of its character, while creating a modern space to enjoy a coffee, tea, or snack and catch up with a friend. Just through the coffee shop there's a small mercantile filled with unique finds, including antique items, jewelry, cards, and candles; making it a treasure trove for gift seekers and home decor enthusiasts. Whether you're a Versailles resident, or just passing through, The Amsden offers a place to relax and enjoy the charm of this historic town. I highly recommend checking it out!
A millennial girls ideal spot. Yummy coffee. Instagramable decor. The shop is really cute with jewelry, cards, books, candles, small children's section and lots of great gifts.
This was my first time here and this coffee is Amazing. If your in town do yourself a favor and stop here for coffee. They even have apple Cider doughnuts from the local Pumpkin Patch Farm. I tried a Pumpkin Spice Mach with Pumpkin Cold Brew with Almond Milk. Instant satisfaction. Oh, I also bought some home-made and local beer cheese. Yum!

It's a cute local coffee shop in a historic building downtown. Service is cheerful and polite. The coffee is good. The country ham and cheese scone was a bit intense. Perhaps I should have picked a sweet scone instead. Still, overall it was a pleasant experience.

The most prominent of a small selection of businesses in Versailles, this building houses not only the coffee shop but retail space next door. The cafe has a broad variety of drinks, and I went with a Brown Sugar Cinnamon Matcha, which sounds like a very Kentucky thing to do with matcha. Fortunately, powdered green tea goes with just about anything. While the color was green, the flavor was more strongly sweet than bitter. They had a few snacks as well as fancy lemonades to compliment the coffee.

Moreover, it had hardly any taste and tasted more like milk than anything else. My friends also found their drinks to be bland. Despite the drinks being disappointing, the atmosphere was amazing. The interior was cute and picturesque, but the seating wasn't the best. If you're a student looking for a place to study, this probably isn't the best spot.

Their coffee menu is pretty standard, and they do offer seasonal specials which are located on a separate menu near the register. I went with an almond milk latte and it was frothy and delicious! The cups and overall aesthetic at the Amsden are picture-perfect as well; which partially explains one of the reasons I wanted to go- they have a great social media presence and I've seen a lot from them on instagram! There are a few pastry and breakfast items available- I ordered a blueberry oatmeal to go with my coffee- the barista served me a hazelnut cocoa oatmeal instead, but it was delicious so I'm not going to complain. There are a few tables indoors for customers as well as patio seating. It was too cold to sit outside when we were there so we sat at a bar table by the window that had a nice view of downtown. There is a cute shop that sells KY local items that is connected to the coffee shop that is definitely worth checking out!

The cutest little coffee shop I've ever been in. Not only was the vibe immaculate: quiet, quaint, and whimsical, but the service was quick and customized, and the coffee was delicious. When you walk to the back of the shop, you enter a children's bookstore wonderland. Complete with themed play areas and classic childhood characters. I left mentally planning my next trip to bring my daughter with me to experience it! read more

Cute shop, very small. Only one person working so it took a little to place our order. Latte was super good, I got the blueberry cobbler iced latte with lemon cold foam. Syrups are not homemade though. Would come back! Update: I got violent diarrhea-I think somehow something with almonds got contaminated in my drink that didn't include anything with almonds. read more

A sweet place in Versailles KY. Delicious coffee! Wide range of flavor options! Adorable place to visit and/or study at. Also connected to a cute boutique. Wish I was able to visit longer since I only stopped in for a quick refreshment while photographing a wedding. Fortunately it's only a 20 minute drive from downtown Lexington - so I will be back! read more

Stopped in to grab a coffee while walking around downtown Versailles with my mom. Starbucks no longer has a gingerbread latte so I was excited to see that on the menu. It was even better & not overly sweet which I appreciate! It's so cute in here & there's a few tables and a counter if you'd like to sit or work over coffee. The attached store has cute gift items, home decor, and children's items. A perfect spot to pick up a unique & local gift! read more

I found gluten free pop tarts!!!! I had been on a hunt for these bad boys for months at grocery stores and turns out I just needed to go to a cute local cafe. The coffee alone probably wouldn't have given this place 5 stars, but it wasn't bad either. They had lots of fun fall feature drinks- I think I got a caramel latte or something (not super memorable obviously). read more

I'm such a big fan of this quaint coffee shop and how much life it brings to downtown Versailles! It's located in the beautiful and historic Amsden building, and connected to the cutest gift shop and Woodford County visitor center. Coupled with the bourbon bar on the back side of the building, this is basically a one-stop sip and shop! Not a single detail has been overlooked, from the menu to the design components, and the huge windows flood the space with light, making it a perfect spot for either a friendly meet up or a business discussion. Definitely check it out! Oh, and happy National Coffee Day! read more

The coffee here is soo good! I got the mocha and def was pleased. I've heard great things about this place and have been wanting to go since it opened. Finally being back in Versailles, I was able to stop in and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. It was delicious. And such a cute, quaint place. read more

It is always a joy visiting the Amsden! I love walking in there knowing that any purchase I make is going to local artists! There are so many cute things to purchase here, from local paintings, to jewelry, to clothing, and even to flowers, which is the thing that draws me back every time! I love their unique selection of florals, a selection you can't find at other places. Make sure to stop by there, you won't regret it! read more

From the time you walk up to the corner this place is picturesque. Drinks were really good, we both got hot bourbon caramel lattes. We came to work and sat at the window seating to watch the street and enjoy some sunlight. Parking is sidestreet and limited during the week. It was a Sunday around 3:30 that we visited so parking was free. Staff was kind. See my extended review coming soon on latteshots.com. read more

The cutest local coffee shop. They have a great menu of basic drinks and always have even better seasonal ones cycling through the shop. It is small and quiet enough to get work done. They have the cutest store attached to the back as well that is always so fun to look around. read more

Do they offer non-dairy options for their coffees? I am allergic to dairy, soy and almonds.? I can drink coconut milk but not much else.
