I came here around 11am on a Friday and there was no wait. The cinnamon roll was the best thing ever! Move over Cinnabon, this cinnamon roll was all that and some. It was moist and sweet as expected. The only thing is that the cinnamon roll was served room temp, not hot as the waitress stated. Thumbs down for that. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The grits of the day were sausage, bacon and cheese and it was scrumptious. I ordered the Ace of BLT and it could have used some improvements. First, I was given a half of an egg. The order also came with a choice of muffin and grits. I picked the blueberry muffin which was warmed, sweet and completely flaky. Yum! Went for brunch and overall the food was good overall. My mimosa was the highlight though. It was perfect! I had the mr potatoe head casserole (or something like that), and my friend kinda made up her own meal. My meal was very good, but towards the end, there was a small piece of hair in my veggies ‍. As for my friend, her meal was also very tasty, but she did have to send it back once because the eggs were cooked medium- instead of scrambled as she had ordered. She said that had oatmeal was runny, but edible. It looked watery to me- I wouldn't have ate it. The bacon was cooked perfect though, and her bowl of berries looked delicious and she said they were good, too. Would I return? I dunno... the sight of hair in my food kinda tainted my experience. This place has always been one of my favorites. At 10:30am on a Sunday, my boyfriend and I were immediately sat at a table. We were greeted approximately 5 minutes later by our friendly waitress. By then, we had both our drink and food orders ready. I had the Kalamity Katie's which is always my go-to and it NEVER disappoints. The food came out within 10 minutes and met all expectations. However; the grits of the day (bacon and pepper jack cheese) were a bit bland. The coffee is always fresh and hot. We arrived around 11am on a Sunday and was told the wait would be 30 minutes. It actually ended up being 40 minutes but I expected a wait at such a busy time so no problem. Our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I decided on the wild mushroom and roasted garlic scramble and substituted the everything muffin for a blueberry muffin. I wish my eggs were seasoned more as they were super bland and the table salt and pepper didn't help. The eggs come topped with goat cheese which is kind of bitter tasting and super creamy. I enjoy goat cheese but if you don't like that then I would ask for a different cheese. The potatoes that came with the eggs were tasty and perfectly cooked. I'm so glad I tried the blueberry muffin. I ordered the crabby patty Benny which was delicious. It is a crab cake with over top a English muffin. A egg sits over top of the crabby patty. When you cut into the egg it ozzes and creates that mess a good breakfast often leaves. However, it leaves a deliciousness left lingering on your tongue. The lime- berry mimosa is an off menu item suggested by the waitress. It was delicious. It tastes fruity and has a sweet pungent taste. Overall I would recommend this restaurant. On a recent visit my husband ordered the Mr. Potato-head Casserole. He let me taste it. OMG, Life changing! (LOL, not really) but now I have another reason to go to Wild Eggs. It's a potato casserole made with sour cream which gives it a slight tangy taste. The bottom has a brown crusty crunchy texture Then it's topped with onion, peppers, sausage (you can substitute with turkey sausage or bacon) and queso. So good! The interior is clean and spacious. Lots of windows for natural sunlight. They have outdoor seating which is appreciated. Customer Service has been wonderful every time I've been there.
