I went in here a couple of time but for cocktails only. I liked the cocktails and the bartender in both instances was attentive and quick. I sat at the bar both times and both times it was early in the day. I do not recall the drinks I had but they had a decent cocktail list and I was staying in the hotel that is attached to it. I will likely go again the next time I am in the hotel, I usually stay once a year.

A recent addition to the Covington area. Went on a Sunday at 11am and was seated immediately. Server came by to ask for our order. The restaurant had a modern aesthetic, semi-formal ambiance fitting for the location. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The food overall was a blend of southern flavors and American ingredients. I enjoyed my chicken benny as a more protein rich option. The egg was poached perfectly, the potatoes were well seasoned. The french toast on the wasn't the best I've had in Cincinnati or in the states but was still on but easily great for the area. The chicken on both dishes were chicken thighs that were still moist, juicy and crunchy. The mandatory 20% gratuity that is added on to your check automatically which didn't sit well with me. However I would not hesitate to return if I was craving and upscale restaurant with southern flavors and honey.

A place worth trying! New restaurant in the area, with a great Southern flavor menu. Great choice for brunch and dinner. Service was excellent, Liz did an amazing job. Brava! Good place for drinks and family dinners. The shrimp and grits were very tasty. Lots of flavor and good portion size. Food was fresh and we'll prepared. Give this restaurant a try. Eat well and enjoy!

So this spot recently opened , decided to come across the bridge to check it out. Solid experience! The wait staff was all super friendly. Very helpful when trying to figure out what was good. They did not lead us astray, it was all great. Brian was an amazing bartender. He hooked us up with some really good honey old fashioned joints. Also Saturday brunch has a live band. Sunday has the DJ on the turntable. Happy hour is everyday between 3 and 6. It's in a hotel, but has an outside entrance. For parking, they validate so keep the in mind for the lot across the street. Has indoor and outdoor seating so you can get a really good view if you're indoor and outdoor, it has a full bar as well. So if you want a cocktail you can definitely do that too. Mumbo wings were good AF (have decent DC vibes). The grits were great, I would absolutely come back for them... They were the star of the show. My goodness they were fire. I don't eat fish but everything else was solid! The Mac and cheese was good and creamy. The cray cray pasta was really good as well. I would 101% come back next time I was in the area.

I've been here a few times since they opened and it's always a great time! I love when they have live music outside on the patio! The outdoor seating is a nice touch for great brunch vibes. Our servers are always knowledgeable and helpful. I went for my birthday and she made sure I got a special birthday treat! Now, onto the food... those southern charm deviled eggs.... ‍ chefs kiss! Super flavorful! My go to is the crab cake blt. They give you a nice sized crab cake and aren't skimpy on the crab. The remoulade sauce is the perfect finisher. The espresso martini is one of my favorites in the city. It's the perfect blend of espresso and sweet!

Relied on my Yelpers to find a good dinner spot while in town visiting family, and we opted for this place. Did not realize it was a restaurant attached to Embassy Suites Hotel, but that wouldn't be a deterrent in coming back. Great menu, super tasty fresh and flavorful cocktails with excellent service! OMG!! Hands down the table favorite -- Red Velvet pancakes (on the dinner menu). Definitely a good stop if you're in the area. Everyone at the table gave it a big thumbs up!

Great food! Great service! Had a little hiccup with my husband's omelette, which was taken care of immediately. We Got the fried green tomato slices (I make them more well done) served with a great sauce. Omelette - great he would get it again Eggs Benedict- thrilled they would serve the ham on the side so I could give it to someone else to enjoy Poached eggs on chicken - he loved it!! French toast - he loved it!! Great service! Highly recommend you sit outside

An original Miami restaurant has now made its way to Covington. Serving southern inspired dishes, this new restaurant will sure be a favorite brunch spot for many. It is located along the river next to the Hilton hotel. Parking can be found across the restaurant which costs $2 (0-1 hr); $5 (1-2 hrs). Upon entering the host stand, you will be greeted and be asked if you've made a reservation. No reservation is required to dine-in. We were sat next to the window, which offered a view of their outdoor patio sitting. Not sure if pets are allowed on the patio - it would be nice. Menu entrees were a bit short, but offer delicious options. We ordered: Mumbo wings, 1/2 Sweet Chick, Fries, Cheesey Grits. All came in black plates, which emphasized the food's colors and made it look aesthetically delicious. Mumbo wings (6) - Great flavor, but lacking the crispness to the wings. We asked for some ranch on the side. Restaurant has balsamic, ketchup and ranch. No blue cheese. Cheesey grits - I really enjoyed the flavor. I'm huge on grits and this was pretty good. It had that nice cheddar flavor to it. Fries - Thin fries seasoned with salt. Can't mess this one up. It was paired with ketchup. 1/2 Sweet Chick - You can either order a 1/2 serving or full. We went with the 1/2 and it was plentiful. It came with the fried chicken on top of 2 servings of French toast glazed with maple syrup and a touch of powdered sugar. It was complimented with blueberries and slices of strawberries on the side. Food was tasteful. Chicken had a nice crunch and well seasoned. Ask for extra maple syrup on the side if needed. FYI. Regardless of how big your party is there will be a mandatory 20% tip added to your bill. We were a party of 2. Thought this was strange since I eat brunch at other restaurants in Covington that allow flexible gratuity. Overall, I appreciated our first experience. I would recommend this place to open earlier to cater to those workers who enjoy a nice brunch after night shift.

Took my daughter here for a daddy daughter brunch and it was perfect! We arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation and the staff was super nice and helped get us in early. The food was delicious, the French Toast bites are the best thing ever. My daughter loved her pancakes...and so did I. Haha looked too good not to steal a few bites :)

The vibe at HU is upbeat. They had a live dj, photo ops, and a custom greeting, "Hey honey!" Our server was friendly and engaging. The menu is creative and full with unique options. I was excited to order the oxtail and grits. Unfortunately, the dish was lukewarm. Also, a member of our party's order was wrong altogether and needed to be sent back. We visited on the weekend, and these things tend to happen when restaurants are busy. Hopefully they can work out the kinks and be successful.

I was going to go 3 stars because of slow food service, but they made up for it, so I'm going with 4. Went for brunch on a Saturday and made reservations on Open Table. There was no wait, but tables were full in the dining area. I liked the decor and vibe! Warning that the bar area music is loud- even at brunch (but the music is great!) . Server was very friendly. The food was pretty good. Nothing outstanding. My friends got the she crab soup and said it was very good- but would have been better hot (was just warm). It took a very long time for my eggs benny to arrive. My friends were already done with their food. I didn't complain or ask about it- I patiently waited. When it finally came- a manager brought it and apologized and they comped my meal without me asking. This was extremely nice and top notch! The eggs benny was good. Solid meal. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if I'm in the area, I'd come again.

My first time experience at the new Honey Uninhibited in Covington (right next to Convention Center) was a good experience! My party had a corner booth with the vantage point of both the restaurant and the Covington street view. Note: valet parking is available in the lot across the street. The deviled eggs with Barbecue chicken nuggets appetizer was great! The flavors of the French toast with chicken and fresh fruit were delicious too! Our server was very attentive, calm, and helpful in making recommendations!

I'm headed to eat there tomorrow, any suggestions?

I don't think you can make a bad choice. I had the half sweet chick and fried green tomatoes. My friend enjoyed the potatoes and catfish bites and another had the seafood omelette. I think you'll enjoy any option you choose.

The Goetta is a regional dish popular to the area comprised of sausage and potato fried like a smash burger. It was packed full of flavor and was nice and crispy. A must get was the biscuit and gravy. Unlike the southern style which is usually thick and creamy, this has amazing seasoning, plenty of the sausage crumble, and rich texture. The biscuit underneath was soft and savory and paired very well in this dish. The filet and eggs were perfectly cooked and had good flavor. There were a lot of diced potatoes on the plate to enjoy which was also well seasoned and crispy. Lastly the big easy omelette was very good. I do like the fact it was plated on top of a piece of toast. The biscuit and gravy along with the omelette gave a very strong New Orleans feeling. The cocktails also hit their mark. Local distillery Riff was the maker of the bourbon for the mule. I'm not sure of their lineup but it compared to Bulleit Bourbon. Very stable in the cocktail without being overpowering. The hard truth was a coffee with a punch and a great way to start a vacation morning. The restaurant was deceptively large from its outward appearance. There is lots of seating available and the tables moved swiftly. The large garage style doors allowed for full fresh air circulation and opens the brightness from the natural lighting. Being a corner location they were able to maximize on the opened interior dining experience. Overall 4.7 out of 5

What's striking about the restaurant itself is how quiet and calm it feels. Not to say energy is low or it's so quiet you feel self-conscious talking; it's just that nothing about the experience feels rushed or accidental. As expected, the bread course was phenomenal as was all the food we enjoyed! We opted for the wine pairing along with dinner, which results in about 1.5 or 2 full glasses over the course of the meal. The sommelier did an excellent job introducing and explaining each wine, as well as why it was selected to pair with each course. I ended up being in the North Building and cracked up when I walked into my room and saw I was in one of the Lightwell Lofts (a few of us ended up in them by chance, guess they included them in our room block lol). While the room was super cool and beautiful, there was a lot to be desired. After taking a million photos of the gorgeous room, I quickly realized a major flaw - the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs, and the staircase between the two is a crazy narrow spiral staircase. As someone that gets up to pee in the middle of the night, having to traverse the spiral stairs was terrifying lol. One of my coworkers actually swapped with someone who had a "normal" room because he was worried about falling down the stairs. My downstairs tv wouldn't turn on. I fiddled with the remote a bit, tried rearranging the batteries, but couldn't turn it on. I used the ipad in the room to put in a maintenance request, but no one came. I figured I would just let the front desk know when I headed out to dinner that night. Hours later, the front desk calls me to see if anyone had come to fix the tv - they hadn't. The girl was very nice and apologetic, she said I sent the request in the middle of a shift change and someone had accidentally marked it as complete. So she said someone would be right up, and he did come up. Handed me a handwritten note and a $25 coupon for Coppin's which was totally unexpected and a very nice gesture. Turned out, he knew exactly what the problem was - he said the remote was broken and he was supposed to swap it out but forgot. Gave me a new remote and all was good. He also mentioned there is a second remote upstairs for that tv. After he left, I went to look for it - there was no second remote. We held our meetings in the Scheper Room, which was also beautiful. The room was absolutely freezing the first day and I'm someone that prefers it a touch colder and was uncomfortable. We had to get them to update the thermostat and then in the afternoon it was way too hot. We had food brought in from the hotel and it was all fine, nothing super memorable. There was soup at lunch but the sign didn't even say what it was - just "chef's choice." The Italian hoagies were way too big and needed to be cut in half, I couldn't even finish half of one. The salad with fruit/pecans/etc was my favorite though. They had the completely wrong password on the tables for the Wifi but thankfully we figured it out quickly that we just had to use the room password. The second day for breakfast, there was yogurt on the menu and even on the sign with all the food - but there was no yogurt. Some of my coworkers were specifically asking for yogurt so we had to request it directly because it was included and paid for. Box lunches to take to go on the second day which were fine, I had the chicken caesar salad wrap. Housekeeping didn't come to service my room until 5pm when I was in there getting ready for dinner, so I was not able to get the room serviced. Just asked them for some more coffee. My conditioner in the shower was empty but I didn't bother reporting it after the tv issue and I had my own conditioner with me, so used that. The lotion at the sink was so thick that I could not get it out of the bottle at all, I had to use q-tips to get it out (it was nice quality, just kinda useless if you can't get it out of the bottle lol). Great local offerings on the mini bar and in the fridge. My coworkers and I got a kick out of the "intimacy kits" because we were on a business trip haha. The Magic 8 ball was fun, I loved the conversation cards even though I just read a few of them to myself haha. Even with the bedroom upstairs, it was nice to have the big double closet in the bathroom hallway so I really was just in the loft to sleep and kept all my stuff downstairs. The location is great, lots of fun stuff right nearby. The courtyard is lovely. I would say this is a solid 3.5 stars but since we can't give half stars, I'll give it a 4 because the staff was overall very nice and quickly fixed any issues, just a little annoying that we had any issues at all.

Normally, I find hotel food is just okay and nothing special, but Coppin's was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and our equally pleasant server quickly brought menus and asked what we would like to drink. When it was my turn, I happily ordered Coppin's Old Fashioned. I was the odd man out because everyone else ordered the Spring Manhattan. Judging by how quickly everyone's drinks disappeared, I'd say they were all very tasty. I was a little unsure about mine at first, so to make sure the quality and taste were consistent, I ordered a second, and it definitely was not a mistake. I ordered the B+G biscuits (which are made by hand according to server in the hotel) and gravy with an extra egg. Others at the table chose a variety of dishes, including the CVG, Cobb Salad, Bagel and Lox, and several other selections. Based on the clean plates all around the table, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My wife ordered a sample of banana bread, and I was fortunate enough to snag a small bite, it was excellent. After we had all finished, everyone agreed that my niece had made an excellent choice for her graduation celebration brunch. As my wife and I made our way back to Louisville, we both commented that we would definitely return the next time we were in Covington.
