First time having breakfast here. Food is absolutely amazing!!! I had the wild omelette which was spicy and tasty. If you like very spicy this is the omelette for you! Hubby had the buffalo chicken omelette which was spicy and tasty as well but not as spicy as the wild omelette. Both omelettes came with a choice of sides. I choose chicken and grits with a savory muffin. Both sides were so delicious. I highly recommend this place for breakfast. I will be back to try out the lunch items!!! read more

A new brunch spot only 5 minutes from my house? Yes!!! My husband and I got to Wild Eggs around 1:30 on a Saturday and the place was packed. We got a buzzer and walked over to Kroger to kill some of our 45 minute wait time. It went by quickly and we were back and seated before we were too hungry to wait. Despite it being super busy and near the end of their day (they close at 3pm), our waitress was on it. She got us our drinks, we picked out our food, and she took our order in the first 5-10 minutes we were seated. We waited quite a while for our food. At one point I looked around for our waitress (actually just to order coffee, not complain about our wait just yet) and she caught my eye and said it would be out any second. So even though it was a little slow I feel the staff was aware and doing their best. I had stepped out of my breakfast comfort zone and ordered the country fried steak breakfast with a piece of French toast, and my hubs got a Mexican breakfast of some sort. (I should really pay more attention... Sorry!) We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It was SO MUCH FOOD. So even though you're spending a little more than average on breakfast you're getting some bang for your buck. The atmosphere is very breakfasty here with bright, egg themed décor. There's a cool bar-like table with community seating that you could sit at if you didn't want to wait for a private table. Several people were there watching the TV coverage of the upcoming Superbowl together. Kind of a neat addition for a breakfast place. And for those that like their breakfast cocktail there were many options beyond your typical bloody mary or mimosa to choose from. While First Watch is near and dear to my brunch-loving heart, Wild Eggs has already left me with a great impression. I look forward to going back soon! Update *** My third and most recent experience at Wild Eggs was pretty miserable. On Sunday before 11am we had a 50 minute wait. We expected it to be busy, so no big deal. But once we ordered it was another 30-40 minutes before we got our food. When we got it, 2 out of the 6 of us received the wrong order and 1 had nothing come out for her at all. That put three of us in the awkward position of eating without our friends or eating cold food by the time they got theirs. Additionally, I found a hair in my ($4) orange juice that didn't belong to anyone at our table. Thankfully they took it off my bill. And finally, they put one of our mimosas on the wrong bill. The whole experience just seemed like one thing after another. The waitress was kind, and I don't blame her for the hair or the kitchen errors. But where I thought Wild Eggs was on their A game they clearly are not. There are too many good brunch places around to go back here for a while. read more

I really enjoy the large round tables for seating options. The menu is enormous (probably too large) and felt overwhelming at times. You're not coming to Wild Eggs for the environment. The store is a little sterile with random pictures of eggs hanging on the walls. Service isn't bad but the food is pretty darn delicious. You can get a buffalo chicken omelette (ask for light sauce or sauce on the side), a delicious chicken and waffle dish or go a little crazy and get their Hoosier Bennie (fried pork loin, biscuit, two poached eggs,hollandaise topped with corn relish and salsa). All I know is that everything I tried was delicious and there's still so many things I want to try out like the breakfast nachos! read more

Normally I love this place, their service and most of all their food even though we normally go on the weekends when the wait is 30+ minutes...but today I was not sure I was in the same place. We were a party of two arriving at 1130 on a Wednesday (so not a busy day), the floors were dirty, the service was extremely slow (taking over 35 minutes to get an egg salad sandwich and an omelette) and then the food was just 'ok' (being nice). Hopefully since this is an "off day" per-say, maybe the excellent chefs and staff were as well. read more

The food here is fantastic! We first went to wild eggs in Louisville a few years ago. We were extremely excited when we discovered they were coming to the nati! All the food I have tried had been really good, but their cinnamon roll is to die for! Warning... It's huge, so you should probably share. (And eat a little protein with it or you'll be in a sugar coma within an hour!) We were in on Saturday morning and they get busy on the weekends, so either go early/late or during the week! Food was ok. My order was missing a few things that I never got and my husband came out 5mins later. As soon as the food came the waitress dropped off the check. This royally irritates me. My family and I have visited this location twice recently. The first time was not the best first impression. The service was slow and much of the food we received was cold and/or incorrect. The manager ended up giving us a $50 gift card and asked that we come back and give it another try. Super nice of him. On the 2nd visit, there were fewer errors, but the potatoes were still cold and my husband ordered his eggs over medium but received scrambled. My chicken salad sandwich was saturated in so much mayo and butter, I didn't eat much of it. We appreciate that the manager attempted to make it right, but with so many other dining options, we probably won't be back. read more

What an experience! This is a breakfast place that prides itself on classic presentation, well defined service and a meal that cuts no corners! I ordered the Mexico City Maria's Chilaquiles and my oh my what a treat! Sunny side up egg, refried beans and potatoes not to mention a well timed shot of some substance I was unfamiliar with but it sure did cleanse the pallet. I also received a side of pancakes with Vermont Maple syrup. And if you have never had Vermont Maple syrup well then you better try it because that is an experience one cannot put into words. It was a pretty standard breakfast place. The wait was pretty long (we went at 10am on a Sunday, so not surprising), but we were able to sit at the breakfast counter and skip the line. Everything was cooked very well and the server was very friendly. We decided to order a cinnamon roll as a starter, if i were to go again I'd probably skip it. The icing was kind of just pooled in the middle and it was very sweet. I wish it would of had less icing (might just be my personal preference). read more

I recently experienced Wild Eggs for the first time. The restaurant is clean and the staff is extremely accommodating. Wild Eggs has a child's menu and coloring page. The decor is fresh and clean. Sadly, the food isn't great. Most of my dishes were over salted and lacking flavor. The food was great. I guess there was confusion on table seating though because there were empty tables while my party of 3 waited and two other parties waited as well. Incredible food worth the money . Kevin was a well mannered engaging server that answered all my questions from the menu. The omelette was cooked like no other, light and fluffy, perfect taste. First time to this restaurant. The service started off slow, we think because of a morning staffing meeting or something similar. The menu was vast and the wild mushroom egg scramble was not afraid of truffle oil, I loved it. For a breakfast joint I thought the portions were small for the price. I should note that my partner ordered the French toast and she had quite a bit left over, so portions depend on how you order. The atmosphere was a bit off. There was a bar-like seating area with sports playing on TV in the back quarter of the restaurant. Just seemed distracting for a morning meal. Have been to this location 3 times and have always had incredible service and food. There is a large variety on the menu and I have never been disappointed! Though it is a chain the food is well made each time and is not your frozen prepackage junk. I never get omelettes for breakfast at restaurants because it's boxed egg crap usually, but we got the creole omelette last time and enjoyed it very much - wasn't flavorless fake egg. The everything muffin is so good I'm not sure I could ever describe it with the proper words! The fresh OJ is simply wonderful - this is coming from someone who really really does not like oranges at all. I was expecting something so much more than what they offer. The wait to be seated was about 30 minutes. Holly was our server. She was amazing, quick and knowledgeable of the menu items. We waited extremely long for our food (almost an hour) and once we got it, it was mediocre. I had heard nothing but great things about this restaurant before I went, but was completely disappointed. As a Louisville native where wild eggs started I really like these restaurants and considered myself a regular. This location seems to be the outlier though. The food does not quite seem to taste the same and the service is not what I have grown accustomed to. I've been to this location probably 6-8 times each time hoping they have gotten their act together but unfortunately I don't think I'll be coming back. I will save this restaurant for when I am in Louisville where they know what they are doing at the original restaurants. There are many better options in the HP/Oakley area. We love the bright and airy atmosphere, the food and the service. It's worth the 40 mile trip from our home.

The decor is cheery, nice roomy dining room with a little diner bar area in the corner so if I wanted to come solo, I wouldn't have to have whole table to myself. The server we had, Chris, was great! Had a Latte to start the meal, hot, very tasty!! They just got their liquor license so CAN'T wait to come back to try a Mimosa or Bloody Mary with brunch ... Yum! I was on the hunt for a new breakfast spot close to hone. Wild eggs was just OK for me, I have had better. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelette and it came with a muffin of your choice and grits of the day. The main attraction lacked bacon and cheese but more then enough egg seeing as they use 4 eggs!!! It felt like I was eating egg wrapped in egg. To be honest there was a very small amount of bacon and cheese in this omelette. Would not order that again. The muffin was blueberry and it was awesome. Also I choose grits of the day which were sausage and cheese, this too delicious...It was a different place to try but not a place I would go out of my way to visit. read more

As avid brunchers, me and my roommate were intrigued with the new "brunch, breakfast and lunch" restaurant that opened up near our apartment. We decided to give it a try one morning to help relinquish our hangovers after a night of heavy drinking (AP level drinking). The restaurant is filled with egg decor, and is brightly colored like everyday is Easter. It's also very open and bright, with large windows taking up two sides of the restaurant. Our waitress, Kenley, was one of the best I've ever had. She walked us through the menu thoroughly and offered her honest opinions, which really helped sell us on the menu items we ended up choosing. She was quick and efficient and had a great personality. The food was amazing, my burrito was smothered in the best queso I've ever had. My roommate wanted to order seconds of hers. Oh boy was this place awful! I literally signed up for Yelp just to complain about this one place. I usually go to Bob Evans, but thought I would try this place on my way to work. I ordered an omelet with spinach, sausage, and feta. I get to Wild Eggs to pick it up, and the attached-to-her-cellphone teenager up front says she can't find my order. 2 minutes later, she finds it, supposedly, and another worker comes out with my omelet. The worker asks me to look at it. I see it has feta on top, so great, it must be right. I open it up at work to find no omelet, just eggs with mushrooms topped with feta. MUSHROOMS! I hate mushrooms! And I now hate Wild Eggs. That was the FIRST and LAST time I visit that dump. Service was lousy, food was worse. read more

My husband and I greatly enjoyed Wild Egg when we visiting Bowling Green, Kentucky. I was excited to find out one had opened closer to home. After an early morning doctors appointment I decided to swing by and try something off their (decent) gluten free menu. I asked for a table for one and was promptly seated. Unfortunately I was not promptly waited on. I never saw my server, was never asked if I wanted water or coffee, and never asked for my order. After watching several other people be seated, brought drinks, and have their orders taken I left. I drove a few blocks down and went to Sleepy Bee instead. read more
