So I've usually had a decent experience with this restaurant but today was horrible. First off we waited for 45 min for our food after we told them we were in a rush and they said that was ok and could accommodate. Then we had them box it up and inside was nothing appetizing. It was the smallest portion that looked like a child's meal with a tiny slab of hash brown and the waitress reply was "it's more than what it looks it like". I oddly enough couldn't find the manager after he had been walking around to every table and greeting everyone but us. Then we go outside and my friend opens up her order and finds a hair in her egg salad sandwich! We were so in shock and late for the movie that we had to get going. On top of that, the food was cold. Do not go to this location if you have to try this restaurant. Go to the Lexington location. They have it together there. Yuck! read more

My mother lives out of town and when she visited, she saw the wild eggs coming soon sign and raved to me about how great of a breakfast place they are so I was excited! One Sunday, I walk in with my boyfriend and go to the hostess. She was an older, heavy set, Caucasian women, with dark brown/red hair. I ask how long of a wait for two and after being told the amount of time which I believe was like 30-45 minutes, I said it was okay. She asks for my name and when I tell her she makes a face. She then asks can she just write Britt or Brittany instead because she doesn't think she can say or spell that and that she's just going to call me that when it is our turn anyway. I tell her politely, no that isn't my name. She proceeds to ask me to spell it and when I tell her she says I'll just call you Britt anyway. So now I'm angry. I tell her never mind we will go elsewhere. She says okay come back and visit soon, I tell her it isn't likely. I am a black women and that was very rude and disrespectful. I'm sure that woman can say and spell the name of every ninja turtle just fine and learned to do so. Just like she could have listened and learned my name to host. Not only was that horrible customer service, that was blatant racism. I'll never come to this establishment again and I'm a bit late on writing this review but I've told my experience to plenty of people. Went here for the first time this past Saturday with a friend. It was obviously pretty crowded inside since it was Saturday morning. The wait time would have been 30+ plus minutes. We were able to get seated at this circular bar they have. Our server was very nice and friendly. I ordered the buffalo chicken omelet. It was very tasty and fulfilling. The only knock I have is the server didn't seem to really have control of the bar area. There wasn't really anyone checking on us or the other patrons. This is still a good spot to eat. Visited this location this past Saturday. The food was pretty good. The service was disorganized and poor at best. I sought out help after we'd been seated for 25 minutes with no one coming to wait on us. We placed our food and drink order together because of the wait. It took another 10 minutes to get our drinks and even then they forgot one and got another wrong. Trying to get help after the food was dropped off was near impossible. So I took Shane up on his offer for a gift card to invite me back after my 2 star review, and this is my update. First of all, I reached out via email for the gift card and got a response back the next day, which was great. The email stated my gift card would be going out the next day (Nov 8th). I finally received it more than 2 weeks later and it was postmarked for the 22nd. So, I don't think it went out that next day lol. But, at least they made the offer and followed through on getting me one which is more than many businesses would do. To start off, I will say the food was great. I had the Mr Potato Head Casserole and my girlfriend got the Chilaquiles (again). No complaints with the food. In my past review I stated it was not on par with local competition.. but on this visit I thought the food was done very well and could certainly compete with some other local breakfast spots. The experience however was mediocre at best. We arrived at approximately 1:30pm and they were to close at 2:30pm, which we assumed would give us plenty of time. It wasn't completely dead but also not busy by any means. Our server greeted us, and then some time went by.. Another server then came over and said our initial server would be taking off, so she'd be taking over. We saw our first server continue working for a bit but seemed clearly bothered by whatever was going on. The whole vibe in the restaurant seemed odd and tense. Our new server took our order but then didn't pay us much attention after. Our food took a good hour to arrive (restaurant was closing when we got the food). We didn't get any explanation or really any communication at all about the wait aside from our server having come over a couple of times after we had waited about 45 min to tell us it would be out soon. Our new server was polite, but I would've liked to see her be more outgoing/friendly in an effort to make our experience a good one (or a manager or anyone else really). Given the wait time and nature of what was going on it would've been appropriate. Overall we were ready to leave 20 min in because we felt uncomfortable and there were clearly some strange happenings going on amongst the staff that made the whole vibe weird. So, they got the bump from 2 to 3 stars for offering me the gift card, and for doing the food well. Maybe we caught them at a bad time with something going down with the staff that caused them to fall behind on the food preparation, who knows. Overall I find 3 stars for this experience appropriate. The food was just okay. Not exciting enough for me to ever plan to go back. It's very comparable to First Watch or Daybreak, and so many other brunch places. We went on a non-busy weekday and they were out of a few things, as well. Just not super impressed, overall. read more

Wild Eggs is great! The food is delicious. This place is not for the people who just like plain ole bacon and eggs though. Lots of "different" things on the menu, which I love. If you don't get there at the right time, there is a very long wait. So, go early! The wait staff is very nice. My new favorite breakfast spot is Wild Eggs! I went to the one in Louisville about 1 year ago, but I had not been back. I went to the Oakley location yesterday. The food was delicious, and the server was so nice! I had the mushroom truffle egg scramble...So Good!, and the everything muffin...So Good! I tried the house grits, southwest prep. with some type of spicy pepper...So Good! I had them add cheese to the grits, and I added 1 pancake to my order! Everything was So good!!! I came here two hours after I broke up with my boyfriend and all of my sadness went away. I told my server, Susan, what happened and she gave my friend and I free cinnamon rolls and never let my Bloody Mary be empty. Being new to the Cincinnati area and a big fan of breakfast this was a go to for many of the locals I talked to. I saw they had a seasonal special with pumpkin pie pancakes and they were some of the best I've ever had. The service was great and all the staff were friendly and inviting. They always checked in and made sure everything had come out to perfection. This is a place I will be coming back to many many times. The food keeps us coming back. Unless you are sitting at the bar the service is horrible. Good luck even talking to a manager. They are just as bad. One manager brought us a coffee pot and then goes "oops I think it is broken". Same manager brought us a cream in a very dirty serving dish. We laugh every time something happens because something always happens. We do keep on going back because the food is good when the server gets our order correct. It's 50/50. We always want to sub bacon for canadian bacon on our Benedicts. We always get Canadian bacon on our Benedict with a side of bacon.... So again, go at your own risk. Just don't expect great service unless you sit at the bar. The server who does the bar seems to have it together. read more

Not my first time to wild eggs, but first time to this location. Wait was 45 minutes on Sunday around lunch, as expected. The service staff at the front are less than enthusiastic, but some were trying. They ran out of community coffee when we got there and never filled it for the 45 minute wait. We did have a nice waitress, but again there begins a wait. We were another 45 in before we had food, at least we had coffee. Coffee was OK, food was very good. They have numerous gluten free menu items. Prices not bad. I had the Hoosiers Bennie, fantastic flavors. The grits of the day were excellent, like nothing I've had. read more

I was expecting a great meal but........... I ordered the Farm Market Skillet. It was very low on veggies and high on potatoes both in the skillet and as a side. It had very little taste and arrived luke warm. I asked for wheat toast but was served the muffin. I had to use lots of hot sauce to give the food any taste at all. I would have called this dish "potatoes in a pan". My friend had sourdough toast as a side and it tasted like plain white bread. My other friend had chicken on her salad. The chicken was very dry and tasteless. (The iced tea was very good and replenished frequently.) Also the atmosphere is very sterile like a hospital cafeteria. We will not be back. Got a carryout lunch on a Saturday about 11:30. The place was crowded as they were telling people a 30 minute wait. I seen them giving out pagers as well. There is a small waiting area when you come in. I got the egg salad sandwich, fries, and lemonade. This was one of the best egg salad sandwiches I have had. It was on toasted sourdough bread and had a little bit of a kick to it, I guess it was the Habargerdill pickles! Fries had seasoning on them and lemonade was freshly squeezed! read more

The menu is very creative and eclectic. I opted for chicken and waffles. The chicken was good but not mind-blowing (I'd hardly call that "Nashville hot" sauce), but the waffle was really tasty. It had chicken and bacon inside of it! You don't see that every day. I sat at the half-circle breakfast bar and got great service from the tender of the real "bar" (seriously, there is a tiny little liquor-stocked corner with a person behind it). Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and the like seven days a week is a nice surprise at a place like this, although I opted for a coffee. I love that they serve you a small pitcher of ice water with lemon when you sit down and they leave you with your own pot of coffee to refill as you please. However, my husband and I must have gone on an off day because the service was pretty slow. Our server was friendly + great, but the food took quite some time to get out. We actually ended up getting our food before a couple that got there + ordered before us so can't complain on our end, but even then, it was slooow. Fire breakfast. My first time here I got the chicken and waffles and it came with two sauces. One was a little spicy and the other was very sweet. Both delicious 10/10. The second time I came here I got a burger with an egg on it and a side of fries. It was so good as well. Service was very good. It's not cheap but not expensive at all. I went to wild eggs in Oakley with my family recently and while the food was amazing as usual, I have a lot of complaints.. For one, they are not following ANY Covid restrictions. They have an option of virtual or regular menu, but why are they even offering both? Wouldn't it make more sense to only offer virtual? It makes no sense to offer both.. Masks seem to be optional. I saw several customers walk in and out without masks on, but what was most concerning was the staff. Almost every server/host didn't even have their masks covering their noses...again, how does this help limit exposure. Even worse was that the manager had a mask on and even HIS mask wasn't over his nose and I saw him move it down to his chin several times. What a great example. Social distancing was non existent. Sure they took SOME tables out, but they still were close together. Another complaint I have is about the manager. I'm not sure if he is new or not, but he seemed lost, lazy and like he had nothing to do even though servers were running all over the place. He even told a server in the dining room to bus her tables and then stood in the corner and did nothing. What's he doing? Why isn't he helping his staff? He just seemed incredibly unprofessional. He was also speaking loud to staff in the dining room. I was very disappointed in my experience. Again, the food was great, but management and staff need to get it together. read more

My mom and I were looking for a late "breakfast" around 1pm (oops), and we decided to try out Wild Eggs in Oakley Station because we heard that the food was pretty good. We only had to wait about 5 minutes once we got there because we were able to put ourselves on the list 10 minutes earlier using Yelp (thanks, Yelp!). Our server was very friendly and attentive from the get-go, and we didn't have to wait for anything the whole time. I got the breakfast burrito and a blueberry muffin, and they were SO so good. I'm honestly not sure if it was because I was so hungry or because the food was really that yummy, but I was sad when I started to get full because I had to stop eating. The black beans that came with the burrito were so good, and I was able to mix in some of the avocado and tomato from atop the burrito to make it even better. The skillet potatoes were also great, and with some of the melty cheese from the burrito they were excellent. The burrito itself was awesome, and I ended up taking half home! My wife loved it all. Personally, I thought the OJ was delicious, the chorizo biscuits and gravy was very good, but the bacon gravy was too runny. I had the Chicken fried steak and eggs. Gravy was also very runny, steak was rough and breading fell off of the steak. Potatoes and eggs were very good. Overall it was decent, but very over priced. read more

The food here is pretty good, nothing amazing, but good for the prices. Unfortunately, this is highly outweighed by the fact that the service is awful. From start to finish, everything is extremely slow. Lots of people waiting for tables when we arrived, I counted 8 tables that were empty while we all sat around waiting to be seated. Once we sat down, things didn't get much faster. Food took over 30 minutes to get to the table. Lots of people all looked very impatient for their food as well. I went there today. I was told 15 minute wait but after 25 minutes I was told that it was 50 minutes. After we were seated and ordered, it took for ever to get our food. Our waitress never came back to check on us. The only time she came back was when she gave me the check. It was lousy service , food wasn't anything special and over priced. Floor dirty.
