Wilco just completed a 31 window replacement for my home in Bee Cave and it could not have been a better experience! After 2 years of research on window replacement, and interviewing 5 different companies I selected Wilco. Still scarred from a bad window experience a few years ago and from several bad contractors in my past, this experience rebuilt my trust in the industry. This turned out to be the smoothest remodeling project I've ever done, from start to completion in 5 days. After expert consultation with Kyle and Marcus and 3 in home visits I chose black inside and black outside Pella Impervia fiberglass windows. Such a high quality window is only worth it if you have a high quality installation, and Wilco's installation team led by their head installer Edwin delivered. Edwin was even introduced to me before I made the decision to move forward, and once I met him I knew the job would be done right. Most other companies charge extra for mortar, it's standard with Wilco as are top quality nails, tape, foam, and caulk. The crew took their time, careful not to damage my home and cleaning as they moved along. My backyard is turf, so they took special precautions to protect it from damage. They were super careful not to drop debris or glass (my kids play barefoot on the turf). The aesthetic improvement to our 2011 built home is remarkable, even better than I could've imagined. Our neighbors constantly tell us how good they look. Kyle and Marcus helped immensely in the design selections for our windows (grids, direct set windows, casement windows, etc). In addition to the aesthetic benefits we've noticed other benefits, namely our home is much quieter, rooms are holding temperature (4-6 degrees cooler than our builder grade windows), less dust, and my allergies are even improved. If you are considering replacement windows but nervous about a painful process, you can be assured Wilco will deliver a world class experience. Deciding to replace your homes windows can be very difficult due to the cost/investment, but windows are an asset, annually going up in price along with labor, if you are planning to stay in your home long term and have builder grade windows, consider replacing them with Wilco. Special thanks to Marcus, Kyle and Edwin for going above and beyond for this project! Thank you so much!

Along the way, we also discovered that we needed to have the roof replaced, and so put that in the mix for a bid as well. We contacted six different companies, each of which brought a particular set of strengths and challenges. We chose Austin Pro based on a combination of factors: personalized attention to our project, comprehensive estimate and explanation of each line item, and ability to get the project done on a timeline that worked for us. We chose to have the house re-sided with Hardie Plank, painted with Sherwin-Williams paint, and re-shingled the roof with GAF shingles. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the process of basically re-doing the entire house, especially when insurance companies come into play. To that end, everyone at Austin Pro was first rate. Before we even settled on a contractor, Paul, our project manager, walked me through the intricacies of the process, and spent probably more time than he wanted explaining how things would go, and what options we had. The bid was competitive, and the line-by-line items on the original bid made it easy to see what was going to be done, and what materials were going to be used. He was patient and courteous and flexible, and was also able to speak to us in a way that didn't make things even more confusing. Kevin was the siding project lead, and though we never met in person, I felt comfortable that he had our best interests at heart as he got the crew on site, working fast and efficiently to remove and replace the siding. He even called in the middle of the siding job to tell us that we didn't need something we thought we would, saving us money that we could then use for add-ons we didn't originally budget for. The siding install and siding paint was done beyond our initial expectations, with nice touches like window framing and utility box framing that I didn't even know we needed but now look perfect. We had the back door repainted as well as our front balcony and pillars, and the end result is fantastic. It really was done to the point where it looks like a brand new house, and not one built in the early 1990s. Paul was back on site for the roofing job, and the roofers did a great job removing and replacing the shingles and skylight with new materials, on a roof that is exceptionally steep and challenging. They had the entire project done in only two days, and it looks fantastic. Finally, Garrett came by to do the final walk-through and punch list check-off, and was a real pleasure to interact with. He fulfilled all the items on the list, at least the ones he could do on his own, and did so in a friendly, courteous, and extremely efficient manner. All in all, Austin Pro lived up to their name and to their reputation. It is possible to find a company that can do your big jobs for less, but I am not sure you could find one that could do it better. They stand by their work with a quality assurance guarantee, and while I don't intend to need it, it's great that it's there.

My main point of contact was Cassie who I found to be friendly and easy to talk to. Even the guys that did the actual installs were freidnly, easy to work with and flexible with times. I had no problems in terms of customer service. However, after about a year some of the panes started fogging up, Cassie had them replaced for free under warranty. Then several more and once again they were replaced for free under warranty. As of now (2.5 years later) I have some 14 panes that are completely fogged up, unfortunately it looks like Affordable Screens and Glass has gone out of business. What sucks is I replaced a lot of panes because they were showing the initial signs of leaking (these are 20 year old panes), what I have now is significantly worse looking and did not even last 3 years.

They did a beautiful job at matching the existing style and hardware of the rest of the bathroom. Great work and great price! Highly recommend.

Thank you Window World. Thus a long process ended happily and positively! We contacted no less…read morethan six window companies to replace 21 windows (the entire house). Window World Austin was BY FAR the most engaged, direct and customer focused. The salesman, Jose, came by for an initial and a follow-up call. Then he came out to measure - this was when his magic shined (as we found out later). He said "our installers are professional and customer service is priority." He offered me two options and gave us just enough info for us to make an informed decision. He said two months AND IT WAS EXACTLY. We got a call from customer rep, Kathy, who just continued the positive experience. Had to work around the holidays on timing and a couple logistic issues but it was not a problem for Kathy. ALWAYS RESPONSIVE. Now time for install. I was told "Bruce and his team (Anthony, Bairon, Juan & Jair) would arrive in a specified timeframe and be on site for two days. The arrived on-time and left the house as promised and clean as a whistle. Also Jose's measurements proved to be SPOT-ON as the windows fit perfectly and as promised. We followed the instructions given us and on arrival Bruce and the team went to work. The team did take over quickly and we admittedly were slow to vacate so their music and back-and-forth did cause us consternation. However, in all my years of home ownership and repairs and renovations I have never had a crew who was so focused on a good job and genuinely enjoyed the task at hand and their coworkers. Great job team! So now the weather is changing, we have 21 new windows, no drafts, clean lines, and clear windows. Thanks again Window World Austin.

We just…read morefinished replacing all 55 of the 30-year old aluminum windows in our home with the very high-quality Window World ones. They are beautiful!! Many of our windows face south. Our breakfast nook and kitchen were made almost unlivable by the amount of heat that our old windows let in. We have had many mid to high 90 degree days since our new windows were installed, and our breakfast nook and kitchen have become our favorite places to be, as our Window World windows keep all that heat out completely. Our entire house stays much cooler now. Braden, our salesperson, was extremely professional and not high pressure at all!! Unlike some sales people, he understands all technical details of the windows, and the process of installing them. He used to be a window installer himself, and it really shows. He took very, very accurate measurements, so all our 55 windows fit perfectly when they arrived. As he looked at every window for the estimate, he explained what would need to happen for each one, such as caulking, masonry, etc. The price for all 55 of our windows was 1/2 the price of the 3 other companies we got quotes from. The quality, and look, of the windows is fantastic! After the installation was complete, Braden came by and looked at each window. He tested them for ease of raising and lowering them, as well as tilting them in and out. We found about 12-15 that were too tight, and he sent a crew over the next day to take care of them. They did a tremendous job of making them absolutely correct. I can't say enough positive things about the crew either. They arrived exactly when they said they would each day. Wes was our foreman, and did a good job of communicating with us on the first day. Bruce was the foreman-on-site of our job (was there every day), and he did a SUPERB job! He answered all the myriad of questions we had in a very professional and friendly manner. It took a 4-5 man crew 3 1/2 days to install all 55 windows. Bruce was very easy to communicate with. All the men on the crew were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Each crew member was very proficient and knew exactly what to do. The men got along very well with each other. It was a very happy crew. In my opinion, a happy crew does a good job. They had large tarps which kept the construction mess away from our carpets and furniture. Even with the tarps, they thoroughly vacuumed all the carpets and wiped down our belongings at the end of each day. They were very respectful and careful with our belongings. We were very impressed that WW's installation inspector came by twice just to be sure that things were being done properly, and to our satisfaction. We are extremely pleased with every aspect of our experience with Window World. It could not have been any better.

Moreover, he was knowledgeable about city codes/permitting, and managed every aspect of this so we didn't have to worry about it. The most recent project was some serious leveling of the backyard and installation of a 450 sq ft composite deck and a sister paved patio area. The outcome was more gorgeous than we could've imagined. Something we'll enjoy for decades to come, and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Carlos for all of your GC needs (interior and exterior).
