If I could give 6 stars I would!!! I highly recommend Ark Roofing. From start to finish these people are very professional. We had a leak on our roof next to our chimney. We also had a lot of rotted siding around our chimney. I called Ark Roofing and they sent out a gentleman within a day to give us a quote. A day later I received an email with a very detailed quote and I feel the price was very competitive. Ark Roofing set up a date to repair our roof and replace a bunch of siding along our chimney and some other rotted areas close by. The crew that came out for four days worked very hard and did a very professional job. Probably the best experience I have ever had with any construction or renovation on my home. I'd like to give a shoutout to all of the guys that worked on my house. Once again, I would recommend Ark Roofing for any roofing, siding or painting jobs. Had a roof leak in come up on a roof purchased and installed through Ark Roofing. Everyone at the office is supper nice. Quality of product is good. Installation of roof flashing with a nail was overlooked. When requested a tech come out to take a look at the nail, a salesman was sent and bid the leak repair at over 7K for a job that should be under warranty. Per contract flashing was supposed to be replaced were needed. Request to Logan, Pete and Luke (super nice people) have been made, so damage would stop inside the house from the leaky roof. No one has come out to stop the leak. Leak is small and was reported in a timely manner, no one has come out to stop the leak causing damage. Pretty simple fix maybe an hour or two of a roofers time just wanted it fixed by who installed the roof. This is the house in Hutto I've been calling about for the past week. I'm not asking for water damage repair just the leak stopped so damages inside can be addressed. Ark roofing tech Pete came out Monday this week and found flashing with a nail in it and blamed it on the nail. Flashing and nail should have been replaced when roof was updated. Other concerns old flashing left in place and closures not secure. Situation is Ark roofing did replace flashing on chimney for an extra $600. Flashing per Ark contract was to replace flashing were needed. Flashing was not replaced at point of leak. Per Ark Contract - Install flashing as required. - A designated project manager will conduct regular quality checks on all installation Original Ark roof price was $15,160 and repair quoted by Ark is $7083. Ark should have addressed the flashing nail when roof was replaced as stated in contract. I could be missing something, so please let me know if Ark is going to honor the quality of instillation. read more

I really wanted to give this company the benefit of the doubt, but the whole experience turned into a huge disappointment. They did communicate with me somewhat regularly when I actually reached out, but mostly to reassure me that they could "get the insurance to come through" and that everything was on track. Unfortunately, none of those promises ever amounted to anything. They kept giving me dates and insisting the project would move forward soon, but every deadline came and went with no real progress. I was only left with excuses and more empty promises. Prices quoted were quite high too when asked if I wanted to fully pay cash compared to other roofers I talked to. What frustrates me most is that they kept stringing me along instead of being upfront about what they could realistically do. In the end, nothing actually got done. Good morning neighbors! A few months ago (July) to be exact, we had a pretty significant roof leak around our chimney and a couple of other areas where the flashing was not secure or had given way due to winds and extreme heat. My attic was 120 F + and my A/Cs were working hard. My roof was only 4yrs old but aging quickly. No hail damage, so no insurance claim and the roofer who installed the shingles was ghosting me and if you did a bad job from the beginning why would I want you back. I reached out to several companies but with the heavy rains, it would be a while before someone could potentially fix the problem and I would have to pay for it myself. One company did reach out with availability and options. I needed to cool my attic, fix all the leaks and other problems that were not going to break the bank. Ark Roofer sent Jason Wolden, who inspected the roof, attic and vents. We came up with a plan, he wasn't pushy and respected my wishes. I don't normally post about these things but I am very pleased and impressed. We installed 2 solar powered attic breeze fans to cool the attic, did a complete repair of the chimney (top and bottom) and did a roof refresh which fixed flashing, vents and pipe jacks. No nails all watertight screws, fresh caulking and paint on the areas worked on. Every step inspected and then QA'd by Jason. We highly recommend Ark Roofer, located in Georgetown Texas! They replaced our metal roof and did some carpentry work to re-build a patio cover on the back of our garage. In 2022, we asked Ark Roofer to inspect our roof and make some minor repairs where we were experiencing leaks around vent pipe seal caps. They performed a comprehensive inspection complete with many photographs, and they repaired the leak areas, all at no charge. In early 2025, we experienced another leak and called Luke with Ark Roofer. He came and repaired the leak and upon inspection of the roof, he found that significant hail damage had occurred. We opened a claim with our insurance company and Ark Roofer provided photos and detailed documentation of the hail damage. He met with the insurance adjusters as they performed on-site verification of the damage and educated us on the claim approval process. Luke's consultation of the claim process was very much appreciated! Upon approval of the claim, Ark Roofer presented a detailed and reasonably priced proposal to do the work. We accepted the proposal and got on the schedule. The installation of the new roof and replacement garage patio went flawlessly, with oversight provided by Wyatt and Adam with Ark Roofer. The roof crew was led by Esvin, and they did excellent work. We experienced some rainy days during the roof replacement period, but they did not work on those days to ensure that nothing on the roof was exposed to the rain. The carpentry crew led by Fernando also did an excellent job. The new patio cover looks great! Ark Roofer's crews did a comprehensive cleanup of the site including magnetic pickup of nails, screws, and other debris. Last year I had them take a look at my roof after a storm. I appreciate their honesty. They told me I had no damage. They gave me a price for a roof tuneup and priced another job. Fair enough. I decided not to use them because of the price and a bit of miscommunication with the guy who told me one price, then came back again much higher. This year, I called them after the nasty hailstorm that came through Round Rock & North Austin. I already knew I had damage at this point. It took them over 3 weeks to get their estimate to me. In the meantime, I had already chosen another contractor who could do all the other jobs I need to do including the roof. I almost choked when I saw their quote. Really high - like 30% higher than others for the same job. Maybe they don't want to do work in Austin, or they're just too busy, but yikes. I have nothing bad to say, just their pricing for my jobs has been way out of line from what others have given me for the same work and much higher than my insurance estimate. read more

These folks are the best! Detailed quote process, exceptional quality work and efficient. Derek was especially helpful and professional in explaining the process and keeping us informed throughout the project. They use only the best materials, and are an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor. Installation on our 2300 sq ft home was completed in one day and (of course) includes stripping of all old roofing material, replacing any damaged wood sheathing, and R&R of leaf screens on gutters. A quality control follow up the next day included a final check and clean up of any left over debris. An added bonus was that due to the upgrade to Class 3 shingles from our original Class 2, we received a nearly $1000/year discount on our insurance going forward. read more

Getting a new roof was a bigger task than I thought. After conferring with several companies we decided on Ark because they explained the insurance process clearly and didn't try to upsell a bunch of stuff we didn't need to get more out of insurance. I appreciated how straight forward the process was and would use them again. They were super fast and did a great job on the roof. Most of my landscaping survived the job. I was a little disappointed by the sheer number of nails we found in the yard and coming through the gutters over time, but perhaps that is par for the course with a new roof. read more

I had contacted ARK Roofer for getting a roof inspection since I had noticed a few odd things in our new home roof. Jason showed up on time for the afternoon appointment. Even though it was a hot and humid day, he spent significant time in the attic as well as the roof. An Ark Roofer consultant was doing a roof inspection at my neighbor's house and approached me since I was working outside in the front yard about doing an inspection on my roof as well. I agreed to that and we started exchanging information. They made a comment about being impressed that "a chick was really killing it at lawn work". Later in conversation, they identified I had some sunscreen on my shirt and commented about a nice job on using sunscreen. I commented that yes, my skin is pale so I have to wear sunscreen and then they commented about their own skin burning easily but that "we are the best kind of people though" and continued talking about another subject. I asked to go back and clarify if by that comment, the reference was to people with white skin being the best kind of people. They stammered and told me Ark Roofing is a Christian company and has many Hispanic employees. I let them know I would not be interested in doing business with them. I encourage your company to evaluate your values and the people representing you. Assuming client's gender especially by using slang some would consider offensive and also assuming your client has a tolerance of casual white supremacist commentary is ill advised. I reached out to the company requesting a call from the owner to discuss this twice before posting review and got no email or phone response in over a week. I know you covered the ridge vents when you put in the "free" solar fan that you turned around and wanted to charge me for after the fact is all part of your BS. Again......Horrible experience!!! Yesterday he sends an email stating job is completed and final payment is complete and they have registered my warranty and asked for a review and sent the links for me to do it and then today he sends another email saying they are retracting my warranty and that they are not showing the job completed. Ark roofer only gets 2 stars. The bad: Dealing with the office staff. I see so many reviews on here saying how professional they are--but I did not feel that way in dealing with them. Emails and texts would just go unanswered when we sent them. We had our install date moved without us being informed. The gutters were put on incorrectly and an additional (unplanned) one was put in. From quote to completion took nearly 4 months. To 'compensate' for this delay and perceived unprofessionalism they proposed that they would give us a discount to write a good review. I did not take that obviously because I think the cons for working with Ark outweigh the pros. They told me at the beginning that they are more expensive than other roofers, but they make up for it in professionalism and quality. I did not find the professionalism portion to be true, but I know the expensive part is! The good: The crew who did the work was courteous and quick, and our roof looks good. The office staff and sales team did try to blame many issues on them, however. I'm really happy for all of the people who left a good review here--they seem happy to have worked with Ark. A new roof can really change the look of your house and help save money on heating and cooling bills. I don't feel that I received this experience and I'd recommend you look elsewhere for a roofer. read more

Luke and Josh with Ark Roofer saved my butt! They jousted with the insurance company and got them to pay up. I can't recommend them enough. Josh came to my house and gave me a free inspection. He discovered lots of problems I missed when I was on the roof myself. Luke the owner got involved once it became clear my situation was a little bit difficult. They worked with my insurance company to modify the first estimate, which was about 10k short due to the insurance company grossly underestimating costs such as to remove and replace my solar panels. My wife is a nurse who works nights. When it came time to do the re-roof, Ark Roofer worked with our schedule. Keeping the wife happy...Second time they saved my butt! They were very tidy. They used huge tarps to cover our pool and cleaned up very well afterward. They used quality architectural shingles and the house looks great. We couldn't be happier with Ark Roofer. They killed it! Oh boy, where to begin. I thought I was doing good by going local. Everything was great until the contract was signed. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. 1)They dropped off roofing materials A MONTH before the scheduled construction date and blocked my driveway with 0 notice- had to call the company to get it moved. How could anyone reasonably expect to not pull their car out for a month? 2). If they set up a day to come out, it was pretty much guaranteed they wouldn't show up, instead would pop up at our house several days later with no notice. Good thing my dog wasn't in the backyard when they entered the backyard without any notification. 3. Quality- Had several quality issues with the roof in which I had to have the roofer come out to fix, and it was like pulling teeth. I had to contact them for MONTHS to get them to come back out and fix it. 4.Trash/Nails- Tons of trash (food, drinks, nails, even a fan vent) were left in the backyard after they were "finished". Cleaned most of it up myself, but had to call multiple times to have them come back and use their sweeper for nails. 5.Back end- If you go with them, pray you never have to talk with their billing team. The number on the bill didn't match with what the insurance company told me, and asked me to contact the roofer to fix the invoice. The roofer's response was to scream "I DON'T CARE! JUST PAY WHAT'S ON THE BILL". It's almost impossible to have a normal conversation with them without them losing their shit. This happened TWICE. 6.Lied about work- I had a line item, which they told me they would subcontract out (fixing my A/C) unit. They kept telling me they would send someone out, until months later of me escalating, they finally told me "Oh we never actually do that, you can find someone else on your own to do it". They struck it from my invoice, but why did it take months of me calling them for them to finally tell me the truth? 7.Final Balance- The work was done last July, and even in February (7 months later) we are still experiencing balance issues. theOO had stated he would waive the remaining amount due to the long list of issues we experienced working with them, only for him to change his mind the following month.
