I recently had my roof replaced and head a great experience with Ace Roofing. I had already gotten a couple of quotes before talking to Maston with Ace. They were inline with the others so price wasn't the main selling factor for me. It was that Maston was extremely informative and honest up front. As the process went from start to finish, he made sure that they held up every promise and met every expectation. Great guy, great company. If you need a roof, I highly recommend considering Ace Roofing for the job. read more

Wow! Ace Roofing really saved the day for us during our home sale. We were in the middle of selling our house here in Austin when a roof inspection came back with a laundry list of repairs. After getting a few estimates, Ace Roofing was the clear winner. What really earned the 5 stars: The Price: Their quote was significantly more affordable than the initial inspection report estimates. It made a huge difference in our closing costs. The Owner Connection: I was impressed that DJ, the owner, actually came out to our house to meet us personally. You don't see that kind of local, hands-on service much anymore. The Paperwork: Garry, the project manager, provided full photos and documentation of all the work they accomplished. Having those photos to show the buyers gave them peace of mind that the work was done well. If you're looking for an honest, reliable roofer in the Austin area who won't overcharge you, definitely give these guys a call. So glad I reached out to them! read more

Best house project ever thanks to Ace roofing and Cole and all the people who worked on our roof. Cole explained and answered every question we had before, during and after he helped us with a new roof. He walked us through the entire process not only on the roof, but the gutters, skylights... Every process was done as he projected and we are so so so glad and happy we called Ace and Cole. Excellent work. read more

They were quick to respond when we got shingle damage due to recent high winds. The person who came out to do the repair was professional, efficient, and did an excellent job the next day after we spoke. I will definitely consider this roofing company for my next roof or for additional repairs if needed. Thank you guys!!! read more

We had a couple damaged spots on our rental roof that needed attention fast - every day off market adds up. DJ and his team at Ace Roofing came through in a big way. They got out quickly, fixed the problem areas without any hassle, and the price was more than fair. No drawn-out timeline, no surprises on the bill. Really glad we found them and would definitely call again. read more

Ace Roofing installed our new roof in October of 2024. We were more than pleased with the quality of their work and their attention to detail. Fast forward to January 2026 and a buyer home inspection revealed that we had one shingle with unexpected granular loss. I called Ace Roofing and was promptly contacted by Maston. Within a week, Maston looked at the shingle in question and took care of the problem at no charge. I would highly recommend Ace Roofing based not only on the quality of their work, but also their willingness to address any future issues. read more

Edit: so stepped on a fresh leftover roofing nail that went almost all the way through my shoe in the yard. Have to dock a star for that. Photo attached. So over 6 years ago I contacted this company and a person named Adam came out and sealed some vents for me on my roof. I had just purchased my home and wasn't charged, he just said keep him in mind in the future. Welcome to the future! It was time for a new roof and I had his contact info saved in my phone. The whole process went smooth, dealing with the insurance company not so much, but that has nothing to do with the new roof ;) Adam was professional and ordered the product after giving me an estimate and making an adjustment I requested for some extra vents. Fast forward a few weeks later and as promised the crew showed up at sunup around 7AM. They worked to get the existing roof tore off within a few hours, did repairs, they started new shingle install. Everything was wrapped up by approx 3PM. They did a pretty good job cleaning up, however a few nails remained on the roof as well as in the gutters and a tip from a caulk tube. Not a huge deal, but worth the mention. There was also a piece of shingle trimming in the gutter. All in all I am completely satisfied and would recommend their work. I got up there this evening to inspect and to my somewhat untrained eye everything looks great! read more

It has been a while since I have received such great quality service from any company here in Austin. The fellas at Ace Roofing Company and specifically Clay (the assigned project manager), were incredibly professional, transparent, and very understanding as my case was a bit of a difficult one. When I talked to Clay for the first time, I reached out as I was looking to either repair part of the roof or change it completely due to the recent last storms we had here in Austin. The first thing that impressed me was how easy Clay made it to understand the different options I had (considering I don't have an appropriate level of roof technical knowledge), what damaged we had in our roof, and how will the works happen once we decided what to do. The second thing that really made me feel like a valued customer was when I expressed how disappointed I was with my home insurance and how poorly they have treated me. He helped me understand the process in much better (and kinder) way. Once we decided to replace our whole roof, I knew I was in good hands; I had no doubt that these fellas at Ace Roofing Company know their trade and know how to treat customers in these difficult decisions. The third thing that really impressed me was on how fast and clean the crew worked. These fellas took one day to change the whole roof, were polite, and even funny to my toddler as we both took a minute to check how they were working. Did I mention how clean they were? I have spent 2-3 days looking for any debris and I haven't found a single nail. Great job here! Ace Roofing Company offers competitive pricing, transparency, and amazing execution! Thank you, fellas, for changing our roof, helping me understand the process, and also leaving the place incredibly clean and safe for my little boy to play! Thank you! read more

BUYER BE AWARE! If a negative number was possible a (-) 5 would be my review as someone impacted by their roofing project. They blocked ingress and egress of (5) five homes in our HOA with their vehicles and we had other NO OTHER access outside the neighborhood. PEOPLE HAD TO DRIVE ON SIDEWALKS to exit the community!! The homeowner and site manager saw no issue with the lack of access outside of the neighborhood. THIS WAS AFTER A CONSERVATION WITH THE HOMEOWNER AND SITE MANAGER AFTER AN HOUR AN HALF OF BLOCKAGE. Don't expect your neighbors to do the right thing. Oh and by the way the manager stopped by in the afternoon to "apologize" for the neighbors inconvenience... HOLLOW WORDS... I act with reviews and dollars as should you. Who doesn't need to get to work or take children to school after 7 AM? What labially does the homeowner and company take for eliminating access for emergency vehicles in an area? If I could post images of this lack of planning and creative solutioning; I WOULD. THESE GUYS ARE NOT YOUR ROOFERS. As all homes in our HOA have had roofers replace their roofs without eliminating access to streets for our neighbors. THESE GUYS SUCK read more

Ace Roofing Company was great from start to finish after I had hail damage. They worked with my insurance company to make sure all the damage was covered in my claim. They showed up on time, answered all my questions and made sure I was happy with the results. I'd highly recommend them. read more

After my fiance and I put an offer on a house in Austin, we found out there was hail damage on the 20-plus year old roof--and we immediately asked our realtor for the best step to take. She immediately pointed us to DJ Shay and Ace Roofing, and we're so happyt she did. Working with DJ was an incredible experience and we don't say that lightly. He was quick to answer any questions, assuage any concerns we had, and worked with us every step of the way to guide us through the process. The great news: The new roof looks phenomenal and DJ went above and beyond. Moreover, DJ was quick to help send out contractors on his own dime to fix minor things after the fact--and that commitment to doing the right thing was invaluable and will leave us using DJ (and recommending him and Ace to everyone we know) in the future. Thank you DJ! read more

After a major hailstorm, we worked with Adam at Ace Roofing and couldn't be happier. Start to finish, communication has been outstanding and I really appreciate all the guidance and support we've received through this process. He fit us into their already busy schedule and we had a new roof in one day. I was impressed with the thoroughness of their cleanup as well. After the crew was done, he sent 2 others the next day to double check and ensure there were no nails left behind. He then took care of getting our gutters replaced and everything looks fantastic. Maston, thanks for the good work that you and your crew at Ace Roofing did on our Austin house. We are very happy with the work that was done and for your help in the project set up in doing the detailed initial inspection, description/details of the work, record keeping and your professionalism, construction knowledge and communication. We know working with remote owners in another state can be difficult, but you made it easy. The price was more than fair. Wonderful service. All greatly appreciated. read more

We reached out to Amous to repair hail damage back in April, and signed a contract to get our roof replaced as well as trim on our chimney while they were up there. The actual roof didn't come in until August (4 months later) because the wrong material were initially ordered, and during the job we had to deal with - Insufficient materials, dragging the installation process out three days - Roofers trying to cut corners by putting new shingles over 20 year old underlayment - Damage to landscaping lights - Damage to our fence - Trash and materials left in our yard - Ridge vents on our shed that were thrown away and not re-used. At the end of the day we're left holding the bag to re-paint trim and find someone else to do the chimney. The finished roof looks nice, but I'd say this company is average at best, and definitely not worth 5 stars. The pictures attached show how our house was left when crews left (bare plywood, new shingles on old underlayment), chimney not touched, some of the damage and trash, however there's still more (damaged lights, empty cans, etc.) not pictured. read more

Had our roof replaced in '22 and it's still looking so nice! I needed a minor tweak done to the roof, (as I was having other house work done) and needed to get in touch with Maston. To my surprise, I received a personalized phone call back very quickly and he had his guys out asap to make the change. I was extremely grateful for how it all turned out. Communication for me is a HUGE green flag. read more

Ace Roofing just transformed my house with a stunning standing seam metal roof, and I couldn't be happier! I was initially hesitant about the cost, but when both neighbors are flaunting their metal roofs, and your wife keeps commenting how great they look, resistance is futile. I was initially on the fence about the cost, but after getting three competitive bids, Ace came through with by far the best pricing, so it made the choice a bit easier - so glad I went forward. Maston's crew were absolute pros--efficient, experienced, and did an incredible job. The new 6-inch gutters? Perfect finishing touch! I had a minor issue with the gutter installation, but they came right back out and fixed it, no problem. Now, the only small downside: when they removed my skylights, instead of cleaning them before reinstallation, someone decided to draw faces and hearts in the grime. Cute? Sure. But now I've got to climb up there and clean them myself. I would've preferred they took care of that detail, but hey, everything else was top-notch! If you're on the fence about a new roof, just go with Ace. You'll end up with a roof so good, you'll forgive even the little stuff! read more

DJ and crew did an incredible job from start to finish...from creating a custom wrap for our chimney flashing, to stripping, re-decking and shingling our roof in just one single day, that we asked for more extensive work from their team. After spending a portion of our own career in the construction trades we were very impressed with the quality, responsiveness and integrity of the team at ACE and would highly recommend them to neighbors and friends (already have on several occasions these last couple weeks)! They also coordinated services with our insurance and another contractor with minimal effort on our part to help ease the project management side!! That said, the only unfortunate thing is this will probably be our only roofing needs from them considering the high quality work they did...but if we ever do, picking up the horn and reaching out to DJ! Truly, he was the difference maker for our project! read more

Awesome company. Professional. Everything was done correctly and on time. Highly recommend them to anyone needing to replace their roof.

Ace Roofing has been consistently fantastic for us. We had water leaks due to ice damage that were causing all kinds of problems, and they were able to diagnose and fix the issue right away, even though it had puzzled some other companies. When we later had hail damage, they were on the spot again with fast service and reliable communication. Amous and Daniel were very open about pricing and estimates, and they were super-knowledgable about navigating the insurance process. We will always use Ace Roofing! read more

It's great when you find a company that does great job and puts customer service ahead of everything else. I always enjoy being able to write a glowing review. If you are looking for a roofing company, ACE is definitely the way to go. I can see why they have so many good reviews. We had contacted multiple companies and it was evident from the first phone call with ACE and visit, we knew that we had found the roofers to do the job. Amous Moran, our ACE Project Manager, is very personable, explains everything, and answers any questions you may have along the way. He was available throughout the process and worked with the insurance company to make sure everything was done correctly. From help in selecting the right color and materials, to plans of the couple upgrades we chose, right through to the finished roof, Amous is amazing. Any company is only as good as your point of contact. Amous made the whole process easy and enjoyable. He was even able to schedule us prior to the painting of the house. There are a lot of roofing companies out there and getting a new roof was a process that we didn't know a lot about. There were no surprises. Amous walked us through everything and I can say with 100% assurance I would recommend ACE Roofing to anyone looking for a new roof. In fact, we have already referred them to a couple of neighbors. Their prices are reasonable, they do a great job and we couldn't be happier. Not to mention, they warranty their work, so we have complete piece of mind. read more

I recently had my roof replaced due to hail damage. Being new to the state, I had several questions regarding the entire process. Clay was knowledgable, patient, and helpful throughout every step of the process. As an unexpected bonus, he also is great with dogs! My one-year ridgeback, Star, can be hyper and stubborn (and of course, she's a natural protector - not always welcoming of strangers). I appreciated that he took the time to make her feel comfortable, keep the back yard gate closed, be mindful of noise, and ensure there was a thourough clean up afterwards. It certainly made the experience easier to know that Star "approved" of the crew. I was very pleased with the scheduling process, materials, and final result. All round, it was a great experience! read more

short answer: roof replaced, no problems. repeat customer (different house). worked with Amous on both projects. solid experience. long answer: getting a roof replaced is one of those eventual homeowner experiences. with the annual Austin hail attack, was only a matter of time. plus the roof was pretty old to begin with. bit the bullet on a new roof end of last year. (worth noting: worked with Ace Roofing a few years back on a different house, in which they helped me through the insurance claim.) contacted the same Project Manager (Amous) for a quote, which was lower than another bid. solid communication, team was fast, cleaned up, and overall painless experience. read more

Surprisingly responsive and helpful with all my dumb questions. They understand the battle to get insurance companies to pay for things too. This old tree in my backyard will be the death of me but it's good to know Ace Roofing is on my side and will save the day. This is the second time Bill Sprauer from Ace has come out within a couple of hours of contacting Ace and taken a look at my roof. The first time, last year, he fixed an issue with an exhaust pipe within minutes and I hadn't had an issue since even through a couple of bad storms. This time, a darn branch from an old tree (which was previously trimmed) fell last fall which damaged a shingle and punctured a hole into the roof. Once again, Bill has taken care of it within minutes and without charging me a cent. Bill, as always, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He does not pressure you into unnecessary repairs and even provided a referral to a good drywall technician. I'm technically still under warranty with another company but having not heard from them after numerous calls, I decided to try my luck with Ace. I will be calling Bill and his team for all my roofing needs from now on and will refer his company to friends looking for a good, dependable roofer. read more

Cole with Ace Roofing is amazing!! He confirmed we had hail damage, helped us navigate filing a claim with our home insurance, met our home insurance agent at our house to make sure they both were on the same page, and then came by a few times to walk us through every step of picking out the shingles and what to expect. He was able to coordinate our roof getting replaced on the one day we were out of town and then came back to ensure we were happy. They did a great job, but we brought up one small thing, the gutters, that had minor damage and Cole had someone return to replace those. Then, if he wasn't doing enough, he allowed us to wait for our insurance check to come in before asking for payment. We could not be more pleased! Outstanding guy and wonderful company! read more

Where to start - These guys were fantastic. Last year during the heavy September rains, we had a leak around our chimney and called around for bids. I had some roofers say they would not do such a repair. But Adam came out and was willing to do the repair and he also bid a new roof. At that time a new roof was more than we could afford, however, we realized we needed to plan it in. We did a temp fix to buy us some time to get the funds we needed. When it came time for the reroof, I remember how Adam was so prompt and willing to help us in our time of "need". I called a couple of other roofer for bids. The Ace Roofing bid we got really addressed our area of concern - the chimney - more than our other bid. Adam explained all aspects of the job - ventilation, skylights, roof slope in one section. He even was willing to get the guys to pressure wash the chimney too so I did not need to do it. We decided Ace was the right company for the job and in just 1 week the guys were scheduled to come out. Friday morning about 12 guys converged on the roof. And by 6pm that evening we had our new roof. All the old chimney flashing was replaced (other company wanted to just keep it) and a team came out to remortar the chimney as needed. The guys were courteous and did a great job protecting our pool from getting dirty. Adam came back on Saturday am and did a run around the property to make sure there were no "loose ends", no nails lying around and answered more questions from us. I can not tell you how impressed I was by this company. I would with a lot of contractors in my business and these guys were tops. read more

I had been stressed about getting a new roof for a while. After a recent storm a large branch fell and busted my roof up really bad. I called Bill at Ace roofing and he came out that day. He tarped the damaged area until I could get my insurance straightened out. Bill continued to be an amazing help. He not only worked with me to get things going, but he also worked with the insurance company. I cannot express how easy the process seemed working with this company. The job itself took one day and the team really left no trace they had been there. I absolutely love my new roof. I would highly suggest that you choose Ace for any roofing needs. P.S. after the job Bill even gave me 2 baby chicks he hatched, because ours had recently passed. Such a great experience! read more

So first off, everyone knows Texas weather is just dumb. So dumb. Frustratingly dumb. So of course, a recent hail storm decided to literally ruin my roof. Things were going too well for too long. I come home one day and there is like a bubble, in my kitchen ceiling that I want to poke so bad but I don't because I am an adult. The next day, it is gone so my thought was "whew that could have been bad" and I go to work. Fast forward to 13 hours later when I walk inside my house and my ceiling is no longer where my ceiling should be. Ok. This is fine. I found my cat, swept up an excessive amount of insulation, and called my claims adjuster to let him know. Fast forward, it is January 7th. I do the quote option on Yelp because this is the first time I have ever had any major work done on my house and the people my insurance appraiser referred had terrible reviews. I am contacted almost before I hit submit and Adam is out within days to look at my roof and ceiling. Honestly, it was creepily fast. He worked with my schedule and was there when he said he would be. He got out a ladder and climbed up on my roof and even put a tarp up so it wouldn't continue to rain inside my condo. I could hear him walking around and while I was very pleased with the thoroughness of the inspection, I was also super anxious he would fall through and die and I would never be able to sell my condo ever in the future. Luckily, he made it down in one piece, explained everything and even took the insurance appraisers estimate so he could review what they thought and work directly with them. The roof install? Never even saw it happen. I just came home and had a brand new roof. Adam kept in touch through each step of the process and I never felt like I was being talked down to. All in all, an excellent experience with a truly excellent company. read more

I recently had a roof leak due to damage around the roof pipes (Venting system). Ace roofing came out and gave an estimate that was reasonable. The damage appears to have developed over years of those spots being gnawed on by our local critters. (Squirrels, raccoons ?) They took numerous pictures before, during repairs and afterwards. I appreciated the photos since senior citizens shouldn't try climbing on their roofs. (Two story house with two levels of roofing). The very next day heavy rains came through and no additional leaking has been noticed. We plan to have the whole asphalt roof replaced with a metal roof shortly. Ace indicated if they handle the replacement, the cost of that repair would be subtracted from the replacement cost. That is good customer service. read more
