My previous experiences with contractors have ranged from marginal to good, but our experience with Impact Renovations has been exceptional. We first contacted Impact about renovating an old outbuilding on our property that had a partially collapsed roof. From our initial discussions about what we wanted, to the specifications, timeline, and expected quality of the work, we were impressed by their thoroughness, professionalism, and responsiveness. We signed a contract in late May 2026, with completion estimated at 6-8 weeks, and they were remarkably close to that timeline. Throughout the project, communication was excellent. I always knew what to expect, when to expect it, and who would be on site. My primary contacts were Eric and Bryan, and both were personable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We especially appreciated that Eric and Bryan, who is also a co-owner, were regularly on site to inspect the work and make sure everything was progressing properly. Brandon, the other owner, also stopped by to inspect the project and discuss an unexpected issue that arose. Because this was a renovation of an 85-year-old building, we encountered numerous unexpected problems along the way, including several walls that had to be partially removed and rebuilt in order to complete the project. Impact took every challenge in stride, and the end result far exceeded our expectations. In fact, the building was truly a wreck when they started. Before contacting Impact, we had even obtained estimates to simply demolish it. Seeing what they were able to accomplish was incredibly impressive. If you're considering a renovation or construction project, I strongly recommend talking with Impact Renovations before selecting a contractor. We couldn't be happier with the work they did for us, and we would absolutely use them again.

I got a few quotes and Michael was by far the clear best choice. He was the one who went above and beyond during his initial inspection, and he created thorough documentation of hail damage and even compiled a professional report proving the storm time/date/location that allowed me to easily file a claim. I figured if the quality of the work was as high as his work ethic to land the job then this was an easy choice and I wasn't wrong. In this day and age it seems honesty, strong work ethic, and great communication is a lost art in business. Michael took the time to explain the process to me clearly, educate me on the nitty gritty details when I asked, and what really stood out was him and his teams ability to work rapidly under the tight timeline I had to close on my house. The work was super high quality and flawless by the way, couldn't have made a better choice than to go with Michael and the HD roofing team.

We didn't notice any problem until after all the rain over the 4th of July when we noticed two water spots on our ceiling. We worked with Michael to do a "tune up" on our roof about 2 years ago, so I called him and he came out and inspected our roof. He provided me with two PDFs, one with photos of hail damage to our house and one containing weather details of hail impact in our area. Armed with his documentation I filed a claim with my insurance. Michael was present for the inspection by the insurance adjuster and we were approved on the spot for a new roof. I believe Michaels documentation and presence for the inspection worked in our favor, we went in with our guns loaded. Our project involved 1) exterior repair and painting 2) new roof 3) interior ceiling repair and painting. We had trim and siding that was rotted or damaged by critters, including the chimney which was the source of our leaks. Exterior repairs were made and the house painted. Then the roof was replaced. Finally the water spots were cut out of the ceiling, insulation fell through and was removed, sheetrock replaced and painted, and new insulation brought in to replace the old. The ceiling repairs were important to us because we were concerned about mold. The whole project was completed within about a month of the insurance inspection and claim approval. Michael was involved throughout the entire process. He patiently answered my questions, we made a few tweaks along the way, and he made sure work was done correctly. I couldn't be happier with the result. It was a pleasure working with him and I have great peace of mind knowing that the job was done right. I highly recommend Michael Partain and HD Roofing And Construction for residential roofing and repairs.

I haven't used anyone else for at least the last 10 years. They are efficient (they return phone calls promptly and schedule the work within a reasonable period of time), are reasonably priced, their work is always top notch and most importantly, they are extremely honest. After a hailstorm several years ago, I had two separate insurance adjustors tell me that replacing my roof wasn't necessary. So, I decided to obtain two opinions from roofers. The first roofing company came out and told me that a full replacement was necessary. Then, I had Drury Roofing come out and was told, in detail, why full replacement wasn't necessary. I can't say enough good things about Drury Roofing. They have been in business for over 75 years! There is a reason for that! I highly recommend them. Joe Hoover

I wouldn't have thought to call them based on their lack of Yelp reviews, but Hope used them as subcontractors when she worked as an architect/project manager and thought they did good work. We used them to replace my parents' roof a few years ago and it went well, I was impressed by how well they cleaned up. When some big tree branches fell on it during the last ice storm they came and looked at things, did minor repairs on the roof and parts of a gutter, it was all very professional. We had them come out and look at some other houses recently due to seeing neighbors getting roofs replaced, they said some houses were fine but two needed new roofs. On one their estimate came in lower than State Farm's estimate. The other was initially denied by Allstate but after we objected and the insurer sent out another adjuster that claim was also approved and paid out. I thought the initial denial was weird, damage is damage, but they switched the person handling my claim so maybe that person was picking bad adjusters. It's hard to get excited about roofers, I mean if you need one you're probably pretty annoyed you need one, but if you're looking for a reputable local company that does good work then go with Drury.

The crew came to the house early and worked late to get the job done in just a couple of days. They had folks picking up materials and using magnetic poles to catch nails all around the house from when they started, so the yard was clean. They laid down tarps over bushes to keep any debris from getting on them. We're not roofing experts, but watching them put the new roof up we are very confident in the quality of the work, as they seemed meticulous. The entire experience was professional and low stress. We'd recommend Longhorn Roofing without hesitation.
