Austin Pro Siding, Windows & Roofing

We contacted Austin Pro Siding as part of a comprehensive siding replacement project, as our…read morefiberboard siding was end-of-life and starting to really have problems that would have only gotten worse. Along the way, we also discovered that we needed to have the roof replaced, and so put that in the mix for a bid as well. We contacted six different companies, each of which brought a particular set of strengths and challenges. We chose Austin Pro based on a combination of factors: personalized attention to our project, comprehensive estimate and explanation of each line item, and ability to get the project done on a timeline that worked for us. We chose to have the house re-sided with Hardie Plank, painted with Sherwin-Williams paint, and re-shingled the roof with GAF shingles. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the process of basically re-doing the entire house, especially when insurance companies come into play. To that end, everyone at Austin Pro was first rate. Before we even settled on a contractor, Paul, our project manager, walked me through the intricacies of the process, and spent probably more time than he wanted explaining how things would go, and what options we had. The bid was competitive, and the line-by-line items on the original bid made it easy to see what was going to be done, and what materials were going to be used. He was patient and courteous and flexible, and was also able to speak to us in a way that didn't make things even more confusing. Kevin was the siding project lead, and though we never met in person, I felt comfortable that he had our best interests at heart as he got the crew on site, working fast and efficiently to remove and replace the siding. He even called in the middle of the siding job to tell us that we didn't need something we thought we would, saving us money that we could then use for add-ons we didn't originally budget for. The siding install and siding paint was done beyond our initial expectations, with nice touches like window framing and utility box framing that I didn't even know we needed but now look perfect. We had the back door repainted as well as our front balcony and pillars, and the end result is fantastic. It really was done to the point where it looks like a brand new house, and not one built in the early 1990s. Paul was back on site for the roofing job, and the roofers did a great job removing and replacing the shingles and skylight with new materials, on a roof that is exceptionally steep and challenging. They had the entire project done in only two days, and it looks fantastic. Finally, Garrett came by to do the final walk-through and punch list check-off, and was a real pleasure to interact with. He fulfilled all the items on the list, at least the ones he could do on his own, and did so in a friendly, courteous, and extremely efficient manner. All in all, Austin Pro lived up to their name and to their reputation. It is possible to find a company that can do your big jobs for less, but I am not sure you could find one that could do it better. They stand by their work with a quality assurance guarantee, and while I don't intend to need it, it's great that it's there.

Although…read morewe weren't ready to kick off the project just yet, their reasonable quote and stellar reputation in the Austin area kept them at the top of my list. Fast forward to March 2026: as we began preparing for broader home renovations, we reconnected with them for an updated whole-house quote. After hiring a handyman to take care of minor repairs around the house, we were finally ready to paint by May. Because 21st Century is so popular with local school districts and commercial clients, their summer schedule fills up fast. However, they promised they could start our project in August during the first week of school, and they delivered right on schedule. Throughout the planning phase, they were incredibly responsive to all my questions and accommodating whenever I needed to update our project scope. When work began, the execution was incredible. They initially estimated the job would take between a week and a half to two weeks. For our nearly 3,200 sq. ft. home, we stayed at a nearby Airbnb expecting a longer process, but their team was so efficient they started on Monday and wrapped up completely by Saturday! The quality of work was outstanding, and their customer service is truly top-notch. As a self-proclaimed perfectionist, I was amazed when I did my initial walkthrough. There were only a few minor spots that needed touch-ups; everything else looked flawless. The owner, Gary, and project manager, Mike, maintained excellent communication and knew the exact status of the project at all times. The crew was courteous, respectful of our belongings, and made sure the house was securely locked up every day. During the final walkthrough, Gary personally ensured I was 100% satisfied and had the team address the few touch-up spots right on the spot. They were so appreciative of our flexibility with scheduling that they even brought a box of donuts to the final walkthrough! Our home literally feels brand new now, and we are so excited to enjoy it for years to come. I will definitely be hiring 21st Century for any future painting needs.

JASB Roofing and Exterior Remodeling review: 6/15/2026…read more I am seventy five years old, a retired Quality Assurance manager. I started inspecting weapon specs circuit boards at Texas Instruments in 1978. After that was heart valves at Medtronic's Global Healthcare, qualifying high purity gas lines at Motorola, aircraft fasteners at Honeywell Aircraft, and lastly at the Construction Division of Texas Department of Transportation. The point being is that I have seen a great deal of manufacturing during my career. My wife and I spent months researching/interviewing contractors for the major over haul on the multilevel deck on our house. Only one contractor stood out, JASB. In my thirty seven years of inspecting products, this company was deeply impressive. The owner, Audie, was very fast on his feet with revision changes. The construction was performed by craftsmen. Craftsmen are as rare as hen's teeth. Carpenters are bumping into each other. I watched this crew for thirty days from the windows and many times outside. They habitually checked plumb and square with a carpenter's level. They would 'dry fit' parts before attaching them. At the beginning and end of each day the lead man would ask me if I had any questions. The quality of work was astonishing. When the job was complete I watched them leave from inside the house and Renato stopped the truck in the street and walked back onto the driveway to pick up loose nails and screws. I would not hesitate to refer this company to family members or very close friends!

It was faded, rotting in places, pulling away, and honestly just looked tired and sad. We got quotes from two major siding contractors in Austin, and Allied Siding not only came in with the best price, they also gave us a timeline that was dramatically faster than the competition. The siding crew made quick work of removing the old siding and repairing any problem areas they found along the way. They sealed the windows, installed a new moisture barrier, and had the entire home re-sided in just three days. The transformation was remarkable. Our house went from a dated 1980s look to something that feels fresh, clean, and worthy of 2026. After a short weather delay, the paint crew came in and finished the entire job in another three days. In total, the project took only nine days, and that included two door replacements, all exterior doors, and the garage doors being included in the paint job. One of the other companies we considered was about $10,000 more and estimated the project would take around four weeks. We are extremely glad we chose Allied Siding instead. Diego, our on-site foreman, did an outstanding job communicating with us throughout the project and making sure we were completely happy with the final result. The whole experience was fast, professional, and honestly an incredible transformation. We could not be happier with the new look of our home and highly recommend Allied Siding.

The price was fair and in line with others but they were able to move faster and had all services we needed in one place + financing. Diego and his crew were professional and respectful. Sam from production checked in multiple times ready to solve problems but thankfully everything was smooth. Oh and I was a little worried about the Simonton windows after the Pella
