Couldn't have asked for a better experience! In less than 24 hours I received a call to schedule, Sean came out to do the quote, AND the repair was completed at the same time (all for so much less than I had been dreading having to pay). Sean is so friendly, professional, and quick! Better believe we've found our go-to roofers! read more

Patrick and team (including Sean and Alyssa) were instrumental for helping me avoid getting my insurance cancelled last June. They prioritized my job to ensure I didn't lose my coverage. I am very grateful for their help and attention to detail and putting up with all my questions before and after the job was done. read more

I did what you are doing now - reading reviews on roofing companies to find someone reliable, dependable, and trustworthy. Look no more. Sean and Alissa communicated clearly with me throughout the inspection, quoting, installation, and follow up. They were patient and explained my shingle grade options and colors that were on promotion. They arrived on time (early). The roof looks great. They cleaned up after themselves. They even noticed some wood rot that was not exactly the roof but they wanted to make sure my house was "water tight". When rain was forecasted, Alissa called to help me get all of that done before the rain. I have no complaints or criticisms just gratitude. For the record, this was not an insurance claim. read more

We cannot say enough good things about Sean at Acura Roofing. We wanted a general inspection, to know if the roof had any issues. Sean walked it, took pictures and sent a really reasonable repair estimate for the modest areas of concern. It wasn't hard to schedule quickly, and the work done is excellent. Highly recommended. read more

Being an anxious person, I really appreciated the amazing friendliness of everybody I interacted with at Acura Roofing. Alissa patiently explained the charges, rain conditions, and made sure that the cost to me would stick to just my insurance deductible with a complementary shingle durability upgrade. Sean checked some minor water damage spots and put my mind at ease about them. The main person who handled the roof replacement even was willing to talk to me the day before about the rain situation and provided added reassurance. I highly recommend this business as trustworthy for people who also have similar anxiety issues. read more

These guys are top notch. They communicate throughout, provide accurate estimates and do quality work. Overall, I highly recommend!

Awesome, thorough, and timely work at an affordable price performed by the same person who contacted me for the estimate. Sean did not upsell me on unnecessary work and recommended against work I asked for that wouldn't have solved my ventilation problems -- even though it would have increased the profit margin to do it. Acura is a family-owned and trustworthy business to call for all your roofing needs. read more

We were very pleased with their work, which was fast, affordable, and of good quality, and we would definitely work with them again.

Patrick and his team exceeded expectations. The attention to detail and clear communication were the highlights. Most importantly, they delivered what they said they would with no surprise costs or issues. I would highly recommend Acura roofing to anyone who is looking for honesty and value! There are so many options out there, but based on my experience as well as that of friends/neighbors, these guys seem to always deliver. read more

Acura Roofing did an excellent job of replacing ridge vents on my roof a few days ago. Sean could not have been more exemplary in his professionalism, attention to detail and genuine customer service. With my appreciation and thanks for an excellent, honest and fair-priced job, I highly recommend Acura Roofing without any reservation whatsoever! read more

Excellent job at an excellent price. Saved me on my homeowners insurance. Would hire again.

You are probably sifting through roofing reviews, trying to narrow down the list of companies from which you should request quotes for your new roof. I'll save you a bit of time: include Acura in your list, for sure. I was seeking to replace the original roof on my 2003-built home. It had signs of hail damage...but nothing major; just the accumulation of 20 years of storms. There had been no major event that would be sufficiently bad to justify covering a roof; I was viewing this as 'the roof did its job for 2 decades, it's now end of life, time to bite the bullet and replace it before it develops an acute issue'. This seemed to break the brain of nearly every roofing company I talked to; they kept trying to talk about how they thought they could get he carrier to cover it, all the levers they had to pull to try to make it make sense. It definitely would not make sense with the actual cash value roof endorsement on my policy...but they kept working that line. Some companies were flakes -- no shows, or the person who would show up was clearly some lead generation estimator who would toss his information back to the office to generate a quote days later (..which sometimes never came). This time around (I had done a few quotes 2-3 years ago to figure out what the rough cost to expect), I had good experiences with 2 in particular: Caden Roofing and Acura. I feel like Caden would have done a fine job as well. These two were heads and shoulders above the rest for the experience. The common thread: the person I interacted with in both cases was not some random flaky quote guy, but the owner -- Fareed with Caden, and Patrick with Acura. Both were very educational, low pressure, and -- after I explained that I was not trying to do this via a claim, and just suck it up and pay it out of pocket -- did not continually badger about trying to make a claim fly. Patrick was easy to work with leading up to the job and in selecting the shingle and color (Malarkey Vista, class 4 shingles and Ridgeflex low profile hip/ridge shingles), and the crew the day of was professional. The crew foreman (Ricardo, I believe) was good with regularly communicating and updating on status. This ended up including some close up pictures of rot along the upper parts of my chimney cladding, which led me to tack on some work for them to rebuild the chimney cladding (but in Hardie board this time) and paint it with some paint I procured at Sherwin-Williams (as I already knew the color and paint used on the rest of the house trim). They did a thorough clean up job at the end. A few days after the job, I was in the attic and noticed 2 things: a bit of light where one of our two solar tubes was (making me worry there may be a gap in the flashing around that) and also one of my two solar attic fans seemed to be making a cyclic 'clunk' noise (it was spinning, but slowly). I mailed Patrick, and he called me that same evening (this was a Saturday, even). Sean came out and took a look: the solar tube had shifted a bit and so he fixed that up, but the solar fan...they had noted in their initial quote that one of the two fans may have been inoperable. Acura did not install these fans (a 2012 install by an HVAC company that was later acquired by another company), so they could have told me to pound sand..but Sean went up and detached the fan housing and solar panel from the roof and brought it down to the driveway to look at. It seems that something had failed in the motor housing itself (bearings, maybe?), based on how it sounded up close. We took pictures of the unit and the labels on the back of the panel. I submitted these to Attic Breeze (the solar attic fan manufacturer) and they shipped me a replacement motor the next day! A lifetime warranty paying off, with zero hassle. That's a whole other review, but suffice it to say, I was a fan of Attic Breeze after this interaction. When the replacement parts arrived, I arranged for Sean to come back under an hourly rate to get it down again, have me swap in the parts (it was quick!), and then he reattached it. The replaced fan is happily spinning away (sans clunk) as I type this. The re-roof went well and would merit a strong review, but their assistance with the solar fan (that they did not install / predated them by over a decade) was icing on the cake. read more

This review is a long-time coming - I hired Acura 2 years back to replace a roof WAY past its prime and to do extra work around the chimney where I was experiencing a major leak. The project grew in scope due to the poor condition of the decking and they took several pictures for me to look at before they started anything additional. I wasn't really taken by suprise by any of it I KNEW the decking was going to need help along with the soffits and eaves. They brought in a contractor that they normally work with to problem-solve the chimney and rebuild the exterior of it and try to divert rainwater to avoid future damage. The roof looks really great - my house is such that you mostly see a huge amount of the roof from the front and so I upgraded to architectural shingles and Patrick helped me select what was a perfect color - it is an improvement I appreciate every single day. Patrick is a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, a year later the same area around the chimney that was leaking previously started up again. I contacted Patrick and he immediatly sent out the contractor who did the original chimney work. The contractor was initially a little incredulous that it was due to anything from his end - but after inspection he was able to discover the issue and he spent a good while reworking the area. It has been a year and it has not given me any trouble since. The take away is that I would highly recommend Acura and I would use them again if needed - they are honest and easy to work with, they are a good value for high quality work, and they will stand behind their work should any future issues arise. read more

I hired Acura Roofing for repairs due to wind damage. Unlike other roofers who tried to up charge me because I live in a nice neighborhood, AR gave me a fair estimate which included a roof inspection and minor repairs. I heard them hammering on the opposite side of the roof that required repairs so I know that they were true about fixing or re-nailing minor issues. This is a honest company that won't overcharge you because they think you are rich since your house happens to be in a wealthy neighborhood. read more

I had my roof replaced in May 2024 by Acura Roofing and gave them a stellar review. I would like to add to it based on feedback from my pest control company. I am dealing with my second experience of squirrels in my attic, and the pest control inspector said that most entry points are the result of poor quality roofing. After he got up on my roof Tuesday, he commented on the great quality of the roof, saying that if everyone had roofs of that quality, he would be out of business. He said my roofers had used metal vents and other parts where other companies often use plastic, which is easily chewed through by squirrels. He found an area in my Hardi plank soffit where the squirrels had chewed through to gain entry to the attic, which was totally unrelated to the roof replacement. read more

Our experience with Patrick at Acura roofing exceeded our expectations. It was literally the best experience we've ever had with a contractor of any type. From the very first interaction, it was clear that we were in good hands and as it progressed, Patrick stayed in communication with updates and answered questions promptly. He came to our house and brought samples of all the colors of shingles I told him I thought might work and was patient and helpful while we chose. The best part is that the quality of the work is outstanding. He has a big team of skillful workers who were so polite and helpful and -- get this -- they did the whole job (a separate garage and a sizable house) in one day and part of a morning. I could go into more lovely details, but suffice it to say that my husband and i are delighted with the work Acura roofing did for us. read more

Patrick and his team were the absolute best to work with. He's an honest family man with a great company, which left my wife & I feeling confident from the start. We had a great initial meeting, inspection, etc. and the guys worked all day to get the roof done from sunrise to sunset. Our patio cover in the back wasn't very structurally sound, and they went out of their way to reinforce the structure as well. They were highly recommended to us, and I surely recommend them for you. read more

A couple years ago, Acura roofed my Austin home, with a 5 year warranty on the work. We had a small leak in the bathroom, Last night, so I called Patrick, & he immediately sent a crew out to inspect the problem. Easily corrected with a new vent, sealed, and done ! It's not often we find contractors who are this prompt & really stand behind their work. 5 star review, I highly recommend Acura Roofing. read more

Patrick and his team are AWESOME! We replaced our roof over the summer, and out of the 5 companies we received quotes from, Acura Roofing gave us the fairest quote and provided us with unmatched service. Patrick was very prompt in responding, even with some of my silly questions, and made it easy to understand. His team completed replaced our roof in only 1 day, and they were so nice and professional. We have 2 dogs, so I was concerned about them stepping on fallen nails, but the team did a superb job in making sure there weren't any nails left behind. Seriously... not a single nail! The other day we had some heavy rain, and my husband went into the attic and saw water dripping through the vents. Nothing too severe. We sent Patrick an email and he called us right away to address the issue. That next day, on a Saturday morning, they came out to make sure the vents were securely sealed. They responded with a sense of urgency that was very comforting, especially after the installation was done and the job was paid for. To me, that is a testament to the quality and service they provide, and speaks to the level of integrity of their company. read more

We have worked with Acura for several years on repairs and troubleshooting of a roof that was never put on well by the original builder. It was finally time to replace the roof. We interviewed and received quotes from several companies. Sean was quick to inspect the roof and answering my initial questions before getting a quote. Patrick followed up promptly with final questions and decided to move forward. The crew came out on a Monday morning. Our house is two-story and with moderately complex structure. These guys knocked out the job in one day! The roof looks great, and they even replaced the shingles on our shed to make everything match. Not surprising, there were some extra charges for repairing rotted panels and 2x4s from the poorly done original roof. We received pictures of all those repaired sections, and I have peace of mind that I should be in good shape for the next 25 years or so. Finding a roofer can be a tricky thing. Acura Roofing is honest, trustworthy, and my house is proof they do an amazing job. Thank you! read more

Full of integrity, and fantastic service. They have won a lifelong customer.

Quick, really quick. Being in the business of real estate, it's crisis mode during an option period, and when living in a region famous for wild weather/hail damage, getting a roofer out to your house in a seven day period is next to impossible. Not with Patrick Moran at Acura Roofing...he was there in two days. He's famous for respecting a deadline, was recommended to me on account of it, and didn't disappoint. Free and thorough estimate, of course. Only complaint, no cel phone accessibility. Never asked for it, but when you're freaking out about time restraints, a comfort to have. Update: They came on time...expressed minimal attitude for not being able to park in the neighbors' driveway, but then got to work, finished in a day, and cleaned up NICELY...looked better than how they found it.. read more

These guys are great. My tree trimmers noticed a hole in my roof. I called Acura to ask if they do repairs. Alissa in the office said they'd schedule an appointment to determine if they could do the repair. Within a day the appointment was scheduled. When Sean visited he checked out the entire roof thoroughly. I received a very reasonable estimate for the repair (which was completed within a couple of days), and I now understand the overall condition of my 15-year-old roof. Sean was a pleasure to deal with: very informative and helpful. Their entire process is totally professional. I will definitely have Acura do our roof when the time comes. read more

I interviewed several roofers before deciding on Acura Roofing. One of the deciding factors was that Patrick nixed doing a roof ridge vent, because my house doesn't have soffits. All the other roofers had that as part of their proposal. While researching roofs and ventilation I found agreement that a roof ridge vent doesn't work well without soffits. Another point in his favor was his recommendation for my sky lights. I have two large sky lights and their size isn't standard. Patrick planned to measure and replace them with custom made sky lights, rather than try to make a standard size one fit. He measured them several times to get it exact and make sure they were "tight as a tick." Besides providing quality work on my roof and skylights, Patrick was easily available and patiently answered all my questions. read more

Amazing service and outstanding quality of work. Patrick worked with me through the replacement process including helping me coordinate with my insurance company. A few months later, when I needed follow up, he was prompt, courteous and helpful. The issue turned out to be a structural issue, not the quality of his work; however, he fixed it immediately and offered a super convenient payment plan. I recommend Acura Roofing as trustworthy, prompt and excellent results. Plus, follow up handled with impeccable customer service. I feel like they're truly on my side. read more

We needed some repair done after the bad storms from last weekend. Acura Roofing was quick to respond, honest (they recommended a repair, instead of replacement on a 15 years old roof). The price for the repair was reasonable. Sean did a great job and sent me pictures afterwards. I will definitely select them as my roofer when it is time to replace the roof and won't hesitate to recommend them. read more

Sean from Acura Roofing has me jumping with joy saying YASSS!! During the inspection, he found two areas that two other roofers had pointed out (where squirrels had chewed the covering the plumbing vents) and offered to seal/caulk it for $20 on the spot! When I asked him to seal around my chimney cover too, he did that as well! Thank you soooo much Sean for your integrity, the reasonableness of your fee, the speed of your service, and for helping keep my home safe from water and mold! I have every intention of calling Sean next time I have any other roofing needs, and giving my enthusiastic recommendation to anyone who asks! Here has been my frustrating and bewildering experience up until Sean arrived today. As background info, my 30 year shingle roof is "only" 9.5 years old and everyone reports the shingles are in excellent condition. Roofing by Stacy Pearson - wanted $225 to redo the covering to three plumbing vents and then put netting and sealant on all 6 of them to prevent it from happening again the future (this was my second best option). Also tried hard to sell me $900 worth of ridge vents on a roof with half or more of it's life gone already. Ace Roofing - $600 to basically do what Roofing by Stacy Pearson was going to do for $225, plus scour the rest of the roof for any other areas that might benefit from resealing. 21st Century Painting and Roofing - Unlike everyone else, they tell me the plumbing vents are perfectly fine, but my chimney cover was redone poorly and in the future it could leak. They wanted to quote me to replace it - I told them don't bother since no one else has even mentioned it, it wasn't a current problem, and it sounded expensive lol. Kanga Roofing - After the appt was scheduled, they called back to tell me they charge $50 for an inspection (she said forgot to mention it to me, which may very well be the truth). I cancelled at that point since I know my roof has no major problems and not looking to invest $50 in just an inspection. read more

I contacted three highly-rated roofing companies and went with Acura for several reasons. Even with an upgrade in the shingles, their price was substantially lower than their competitors. They gave a detailed estimate for the job, and were the only company to include one of my stated priorities (addressing issues where main roof transitions to patio roof). Once we agreed to having Acura do the job, their communication was excellent every step of the way, including coordinating the drop-off of materials. On the day of the job, their crew worked very quickly, replacing the roof--including a fair amount of bad wood--and had the job done in less than 8 hours. The crew leader was very courteous, and discussed the job with me as it progressed (including photos of the bad wood that required replacement). Finally, the new roof and new vents look beautiful and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Acura! read more

Acura Roofing - A black roof? Oh yes and it's gorgeous, thanks Acura! - Roofing Near Me - Austin, Texas

My neighbors across the street raved about this company when they put a new roof on their home, so I hired it for some minor repairs. I did so on 2 occasions. Sean came to my house both times and took care of those repairs. He was very prompt and reasonable. So, I decided to use this company to replace the roof when I was ready to do so. I took 2 years to make that decision. The owner, Patrick Moran, was very, very patient with me and made several good suggestions. He even brought roof samples to the house. What made my decision is when he drove me around the neighborhood and showed me what my roof looked like on homes that had the same brick walls as mine. Patrick even suggested upgraded ridges, which really added a good look to the roof. When the roof was finally completed, it was done quickly and no mess was left. The crew was very nice and hard working. Finally, the price was right. If you want a new roof, this is the only company to consider. read more
