Straight Solutions did an incredible job on our new metal roof. We are so pleased. Brian was great to work with - helped us sort through options and figure out some complexities with our particular roof (gutter issues, solar panels, etc.) He was always very responsive to our questions and got back to us quickly via email or text. We got three bids total - Straight Solutions and another bid were close, the third was so low as to be suspect. We went with Straight Solutions for four reasons - the panels they use are "cleaner" looking (seams aren't as tall and the sheets are non-striated), they are a local company that has been around a long time, they provided a long list of other houses in the neighborhood they had done (and we drove around to look at them all), and finally, the recommendations here on Yelp and in our local Rosedale neighborhood news group (Nextdoor) were all uniformly positive. Straight Solutions is a small company that gives serious, personalized attention to every job they do, and it shows. The only downside I can think of is that because they are small, it may take some time to schedule your job, so if you are in a huge rush to replace your roof, it's possible Straight Solutions may be too busy to get to you right away. But you should still give them a call and find out! read more

I have two rent houses in the same neighborhood - both about 950 sq feet. The crew showed up at 7 am and were done with BOTH houses by 1:30 pm. We had these guys put on a standing seam metal roof w/kynar colored coating, for extra energy efficiency. These guys are GREAT roofers, and their bid came in several thousand lower than the other 5 companies we requested bids from. Without additional fees they added a 2.5" drip edge to our roof (using the same color steel as the roof), - thus covering our trim strip and eliminating our need to ever paint that again (yeah!). They were prompt and their finish work was done beautifully. We did a lot of driving around looking at other metal roofs they put on, and the work was done beautifully on all the roofs we saw. (Not so, for some roofs we've seen in our neighborhood installed by other companies.) These guys specialize in standing seam, so they know their stuff. They even added a little star to the front of our garage trim - a lovely and unexpected touch. Prompt to handle the one follow-up request we had, too. Really great company! read more
