If I could give Ruddy 10 stars I could! He was recommended to me on Nextdoor so I called him to give me an estimate on a small roof repair. Our 10 yr. old roof had been damaged 3 times in the past 2 years and my husband had patched it twice. The third time we decided to get a roofer. We had put a claim in on the roof 8 months earlier but were denied. When Ruddy looked at our roof he told us, as we already new, that we really needed a new roof. He suggested we try again with our insurance company, which we did. This time we requested a staff member from the company and not a 3rd party adjuster. Ruddy met with him when he came out and they just hit it off. Needless to say we got our new roof, which we desperately needed. This was on a Wednesday and by the next Tuesday, our new roof was done! They started at 7am and were done by 5pm, and we have a difficult roof. His crew was amazing and the roof looks great! They covered everything around the house and then did a great job cleaning up. I found Ruddy not only to be incredibly knowledgeable but very easy to work with. He does what he says he will do and that is everything when it comes to a contractor. I had a roofing repair issue and wanted to get an estimate. I found Ruddy's roofing and decided to give them a call. My call was promptly answered. I explained the issue that I had and they were able to come by and check it out within the hour. He inspected the issue and fully explained what was going on. He also inspected the rest of the roof and found an additional problem that I was unaware of that would certainly have led to a leak, if it wasn't already leaking into the attic without me knowing. Both issues were corrected at a very reasonable cost. He also took the time to explain other issues that would greatly extend the life of my roof. One such issue was the lack of venting that my attic has which will cause the roof to deteriorate much more quickly. I am very glad that Ruddy's roofing is the company that I chose to call. I found Ruddy Roofing on yelp! The reviews were strong and they had a good rating. We called Ruddy and his Team after we received our inspection report. My wife and I were quite concern we were in for a complete roof replacement. Our second concern was the quality of work. Could we find a contractor that will say what the do and do what they say? After meeting with Ruddy, he educated me on the various types of roof shingles that would be most appropriate for my region of Texas. After he reviewed my inspection report he addressed my roof deficiency and did a great repair job. He informed me the roof was still in good shape and we would not have to spend an Arm and a Leg for a new roof. Ruddy explained the roof had a few more years of life. We needed our recently done wrong roof fixed and or replaced. I called Ruddy's and was met with a very reliable and courteous staff. Ruddy came out and went up on our roof, took measurements and pictures. When he came down, he showed me the disaster I had. He put a temporary sealant down until he was able to come back and fix it. When they came they took pictures as they were going along and kept me informed on what they were doing. These guys were very professional, courteous, and did a wonderful job!
