I contacted Apex Roofing on a Tuesday afternoon to discuss potential repairs to my roof. I live in Leander, so it was important for me to go with a local company. Right away, I spoke with a lady who provided excellent customer service. She then connected me with their service person, Juan Hernandez. I explained to him the leak in the roof and all the other context he needed. He was able to schedule me for an inspection the very next day on Wednesday. Again, great customer service from Juan as well. Wednesday comes and the technician, Anthoney Corn, shows up. I showed him the areas of the leak. He does an inspection of the attic and then the actual roof. As he had suspected, it's just a matter of normal wear and tear. Although this house was new construction when I took possession of it, it is five years old. Anthoney explained how some of the screws and seals around the ducts get degraded or loose over time. He was able to work on the roof immediately - fortunately he had time before his next appointment. So he went about patching up and restoring the seal and nails around all the vents and gutters, and also patched up a shingle that had come loose. The lady I spoke with initially had mentioned a special Fall Tuneup they were offering, so I was able to take advantage of that. So, literally within a 24-hour period, Apex Roofing was able to fix my problem and give me some peace of mind. Anthoney was professional, efficient, and answered all my questions. I highly recommend them. 5 Star Company! Overall a great experience. We bought our house February 2014 and inherited the original 23yo roof and all roof fixtures. We sustained damage from the Feb 2021 snow storm, Feb 2022 storms tornados, hail and recent fierce high force winds and T-Storms. We had 2 different insurance adjusters come out and were approved this last time. We shopped around and decided to go with Apex Roofing in Georgetown. BLUF: The good folks at the Apex family are trustworthy, honest, professional, transparent, polite and professional. I recently had my roof repaired by Apex roofing. Their repair specialist Corbin first came to my home to evaluate the issue. He had to climb into the smallest part of the attic to perform the inspection. He finished and let me know what must be performed for the repair and the cost. The next week Corbin arrived to perform the repair, he took pictures and explained the process. He was determined to find the issue on the roof. He did. Our gutters needed maintenance that likely had not been performed in years (we recently bought the house). Ryan came out and suggested changing the leaf guard from the old school screens to the newest product. We also had him cut off the French drains on the downspouts that were blocked and no longer working, and replaced with typical elbows. All we need is a rain to test out the improved efficiency!! They installed an Attic Breeze Solar Attic fan last year. The ad for the product said it would lower your attic temperature to lower your AC bills. The install went fine. The fan stopped running a couple of times and I had to call them out to reset it. They did that. A little while later the fan was turning very slowly as noted by my AC tech. They came out again and ordered some parts under warranty. Weeks later it was repaired. Since the initial install the attic temp was not lower by any appreciable amount as promoted by their ad. In the summer the attic temp was always between 140 degrees to 150 degrees. No AC savings. I called them over a week ago because the remote monitor shows no fan activity. Called their tech twice and left messages, called the office twice and left messages. Even put in a request on their chat. NO RESPONSE. They are selling and installing an inferior, ineffective and unreliable attic fan. I would not use them again. Do not buy an Attic Breeze. read more

There are lots of roofers in our area, many who get good if not great reviews. We vetted at least five before deciding to go with Apex. In addition to consistently positive reviews on yelp and Google, I was specifically impressed by Mason and Matthews attentive and courteous communications from the first time we met, in working with our insurer and the roof inspector, and until the job was finished. We dialogued primarily via text and it didn't matter what time of day or evening there was always a quick reply received. They were patient with our many questions as well as our indecision as to which color and manufacturer we wanted to go with. In addition to providing detailed information about the materials and installation process, they gave us numerous addresses of previous installs such that we could view the different color options available-those colors that we were considering for our roof. Importantly, we chose to have this project during what turned out to be a rainy few weeks. Post a few rescheduled dates, there was a window of one, maybe two days were there would be clear skies. Mason and Matt coordinated two crews to come out and finish the job in just one day! In addition to there getting the job done in just one day, their crews were conscientious relative to clean up as well. This was important to us as most often this was the complaint that we read relative to other companies. I November 2017 I hired APEX to replace the entire shingle roof of my multi-unit property. Mike Montgomery and his team did an EXCELLENT JOB for a reasonable price. I received bids from other companies that wanted A LOT more money. I've attached two of the several photos they e-mailed to me. The color of this shingle is called Resawn Shake. It comes with a 25 year manufacturer warranty. APEX also gave me a 10 year labor warranty. I purposely delayed this review until now because I wanted to see how the roof performed with the winter rain / wind. So far so good! I'm not aware of any problems whatsoever. TIP: They accept credit cards. However, they wouldn't allow me to charge the entire cost of the roof so I just paid with a personal check. It seems they'll accept credit cards for smaller transactions like roofing repairs. WELL DONE. Thank you APEX! read more

Apex Roofing did such a great job on our roof replacement; it is hard to over state just how pleased we are. We had been a customer for several years for minor repairs and advice for an aging roof. So, when time came to replace the roof we immediately reached out to Apex. Ricky and Jorge were great to work with. They guided us through the process and helped us explore all the options from the color and style of shingle to the options for attic ventilation. Ricky responded quickly to our questions and made several trips to the house to show us samples. When it came time for the crew to arrive we knew what to expect including how long the project would take. Apex delivered on every promise and completed the project in only two days. Quite an accomplishment considering the house is over 3,000 sqft. They cleaned up every day and left the property looking great. Nothing was overlooked. Did not call to schedule services, just showed up. Didn't finish the job the first time so they just showed up again and started banging on my roof with no warning or schedule. Gave me the run around for 3 weeks regarding photos only to tell me they never took photos. Never once returned my phone calls. No apologies, no manners, no customer service, no organization, no communication. Absolute worst service I've ever experienced. Would NOT recommend. 0/5 read more

I highly recommend Apex Roofing! We saw a few detached shingles, and called Apex. They were out the next day, and did a complete evaluation of our roof. Turns out we had extensive hail damage from a recent storm! Apex sent someone out to tarp the missing shingle area the next day. They next came out at the same time as our insurance adjuster, to point out any issues, and make sure our claim adjuster saw everything they did. Chris Montgomery at Apex then walked us through the entire process, from Picking out new shingles, to how payments would work with insurance. Supplies were then dropped off the following Monday, and the crew was here on time at 7:00 AM Tuesday. They were completely done the next day, and did a really great job cleaning up after (we have dogs, and we're very concerned about stray nails and such). The next day, Chris came back out for a quality check, and even went back on the roof for a minor cleanup item! These folks are fast, friendly, and very courteous! read more

I selected Apex Roofing to replace my roof after seeing many positive reviews on key "review" sites (Yelp, Google, etc), as well as on Sun City and Georgetown social media sites. From start to finish, everyone I dealt with at Apex was extremely helpful, professional, and skilled. Jonathan did a great job of helping me justify a new roof with my homeowner's insurance, and he guided me through the entire process. He was my "go to" person, and couldn't have been more responsive. When the job commenced, Chris was the "site person" who was there during the entire one-day installation, and he gave me confidence that everything was being done right. Adam, one of the top guys at Apex, also came over a couple times during the process, and I appreciated this high level of commitment. Jorge was the crew leader (on the roof), and he was very skilled, and he led his crew extremely well. Ryan also was terrific as he detached my gutters (and then re-attached them later) so that new "drip shields" could be properly installed. Ryan even corrected a long standing issue of water pooling in one area. Jennifer was also extremely responsive as she coordinated the scheduling, billing, and other admin things. I am not originally from Texas so I rely heavily on reviews when it comes to something like this. When we needed to get quotes for our roof I contacted several companies. Some sent me a quote before even looking at my roof, but Brad from Apex contacted me and was at my house within an hour. He and Jeremy were a great help in the beginning and throughout the process my main contact was Jeremy. He did a great job staying in communication with me and was very helpful. Prior to the roof replacement, we knew we had a hole in the roof so they came out 2 days later to patch it up before we were hit with a week of rain! That was before any paperwork had been signed! The sales man did spent 30/40 minutes taking with me took all my information and said sighing 3-4 days I would receive something via email. 10 days later nothing so I left him a message. It took him 5 days to return my call and tell me it was t worth his guys time to give us an estimate based on a bid he gave years ago. What a waste of my time! Guess this company has plenty of money they can blow off job they feel aren't up to their standards. read more

Brad came out to the house and we looked over the repairs that I needed and he gave me a very reasonable quote on the spot. We scheduled the repair for the very next week. Brad and his crew fixed what needed to fixed and cleaned up all of the old roofing material. They were very professional and didnt try and sell us more than we needed. I used a different roofer just over a year ago, and they "took me" for many thousands of dollars, and then closed their doors. So because of ponding on my flat roof, which was the primary motivator for the first job, I called Apex based on some praise on a FB group for Lago Vista. They came out, gave me a reasonable explanation for the problems, and made a first effort to fix. While that improved the problem, it did not cure. So after talking with the head honchos, they came back, and completely redid the previous crummy roofer's job. I have several complications, such as two large skylights, and they did a superb job framing them up 8 inches to cure potential leaks, and sealed the roof with TPO, a material so efficient that I can walk barefoot on it at high noon in July and August without pain. My electrical bill has actually gone down several hundred dollars per month in AC costs. No leaks, unlike the previous roofer. Repeated visits by the foreman and the "boss" to insure my satisfaction. Sloping roofs are the bane of roofers, frankly, but they really know their stuff. Gracias to Alfredo, onsite foreman, and Mike, main contractor, for both their abilities and especially their follow-through. When I noticed a small increase in roof-top AC vibration, they came out at no charge and installed some very efficient vibration absorbers under the AC unit which made it better than before. I rue the money wasted on the other roofer, but am grateful Apex was able to step up and cure the other guy's failures at a reasonable price. read more

Would not recommend. We received hail damage and initially Apex was great to work with and worked with our insurance company well. Once we signed the contract it went quickly down hill. Currently weeks out from the roof replacement being completed and we are still dealing with trying to get them to repair the damage they left behind. We have a hole in the roof as well as damaged siding & cornice. read more

I reached out to Apex Roofing a couple of months ago by sending a message through Yelp for a roof repair quote. I received a prompt response from Brian B. (owner) stating that they could go inspect the roof and that his project manager, Brad P., will call us. We received a call from Brad not too long after and we setup a date and time for him to go out to inspect the roof and provide us with a quote. The next thing I know Brad called and said he had gone to inspect the roof and had his "guy" repair it. I was surprised to receive the message since he hadn't called me and even let me know what the cost would be. His response was that since it wasn't going to be "too expensive", then he went ahead and just repaired it since he had a crew in the area. We also had a second job that we needed to get done at a different house so we were getting quotes from a few roofers to see who we would select to do both jobs. Brad admitted that it was his mistake to have repaired the roof without consulting us so he offered to go inspect the other house and provide us with a quote before doing any repairs. He stated that he would go inspect it in a few days. A few days passed and we hadn't heard from him so we reached out to him. He seemed to have an excuse on every occasion that we contacted him asking him if he had done the inspection yet. He finally did the inspection and told us that some sealing needed to be done and a few shingles needed to be replaced and gave us a quote. We agreed on the estimate and said his crew would be fixing it the following Wednesday. Wednesday came along and nobody showed up. We reached out to him again and he stated that it wouldn't be until the following Wednesday. Then that Wednesday came along, and still nobody showed up. We kept calling him and texting him to check status but he didn't respond for over a week. Then when we finally got him to respond, he said his crew went out but didn't see anything to repair on the roof. We can visibly see from the street that there are shingles missing on the roof so at this point I think he made up the story that his crew went out and didn't find anything to repair. I also don't know at this point if the first job he claims he did was even completed. It is disappointing to waste all that time and energy trying to get both roofs repaired by Apex when now we just have to start all over again to find a reliable roofing company. read more

Brad and his guys are great, and very honest! I had a roof leak and when I called Brad he came out that same afternoon, during peak season, to assess my roof. Within the next couple of days he had a guy replace some water-barrier under a section of my shingles, and they replaced the shingles in a few other areas that could have potentially caused me issues later.
