Focal Point Designs is an outstanding company for multiple reasons. Sam Smith provided excellent customer service from the beginning all the way through to the end with a much-needed roof replacement for our thirty plus year old house and detached garage. He spent extra time looking at our roof and attic space, and thoroughly explained the materials required with samples of shingle options. He drafted an estimate very quickly which resulted in giving us peace of mind. We accepted the estimate, and the crew was on site within five days to start the job. Throughout this process he and the crew were very responsive and answered all our questions and completed the work on time. The roof looks beautiful due to the quality of craftsmanship and because of Sam's recommendation of shingle color which compliments the color of the brick masonry. Focal Point Designs provided great customer service. They came and walked our house lot. They gave us an estimate based on discussions about aesthetics and value. They visually inspected the area under the roof for a better estimate of needed repairs. When they began the job, it was soon discovered that the "repair" would become a "rebuild" due to upgraded industry standards and damage. They were ready to "stand behind" their bid, but were agreeable to make an adjustment. The company's representatives were on site every day or so. Focal Point Designs just removed vinyl and masonite siding from my home and then installed hardy siding and painted everything. They also reframes a window that was originally a French door. And they also rebuilt my front porch with Cypress instead of cedar. I love the work they did and they are still currently in the process of completing, but everything so far has been great.
