Honestly, every time we stop here, the food is tasty, fresh, and delicious ! Our experiences, as well as, the quality of food here are always consistent ! The staff is always nice, patient, friendly, accommodating, and willing to answer any inquires we may have. Since we usually order take-out / drive through, we did not see the inside. The outside, however, is always clean and tidy. Maybe, next time we will make a special trip to the dining area. Otherwise, their hot dogs and the rest of their yummy selections are worth the trip! Cheers !! read more

I don't need anyone hating on the fact that I love Wienerschnitzel lol. I am a woman of class BUT sometimes you just need a drive thru chili dog. I shouldn't need to explain myself lol. But all jokes aside I wanted to shoutout this location because the gals that work the drive thru here are super nice, my order is always correct and honestly there really is never a line at this location, at least not when I come. It's a little hidden nearby the base and I've found it to be an easy in and out drive thru location. Again, the gals that seem to always be working the drive thru during the daytime are elite. Always so nice and friendly. They take my order without confusion or repeats and the order is always correct. My standard order will always be their chili cheese dog with easy chili (makes it less messy) and then usually whatever special flavored lemonades they have for the season. You can't go wrong. I only leave fast food reviews here and there but when a place has nice staff and consistency worth giving them a nice little shoutout. Glad we have this spot in the 805 for when I just want a throwback easy bite. read more

Wienerschnitzel - Hot Dogs Near Me - Oxnard, California

I placed an order online with ease an expectation. What I got when picked up at the restaurant was pleasant , and kindness. The food was nice and hot and fresh and I picked up the new fish and chips with a banana split. The drive-through was empty and my order was ready when I got there. I was in and out as fast as I got there. read more

It's been a while and I was in the mood for a chili dog. I was in the area so I decided on stopping by Wienerschnitzel. I ordered the chili cheese fries, corndog, and to satisfy my craving a chili dog. The corn dog was nice and crispy. The chili dog never disappoints. The only reason why I put down 4 stars was The chili cheese fries. French fries seemed kind of stale. Overall the service was good and the ambiance is nice and quiet. I'll definitely come back to try the chili fries again. Maybe they just had an off day. read more

The employee was rude. She messed up on what I ordered. I wanted a country breakfast and was given 1 biscuit w/ very little gravy. I told her I wanted the country breakfast and she told me too bad she already completed the transaction. When I asked for the manager she said " I am the manager you stupid f_ cken bi _ _ . " the name on the of the employee on the receipt is Sandra. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WEINERSCHNITZEL located in oxnard. read more

What can I saw about them? They've been around for years and years and their food has remained the same which is wonderful. Thankfully they seem to have a good business so I hope they stay here for awhile! read more

This fast food place was great! The service was friendly, and I had a very good experience.

Special order was perfect. My order was made quickly . Great customer service, attendant was friendly and helpful.

OMG... they have really good root beer floats.. I would not eat the food... not even real food anyway.. my dad loves the chili dogs, but the root beer floats are really good! read more

One bad banana ruins the bunch - this was the food I received today and I'm highly disappointed. Something told me to check it after how fast it came out (yes, I know it's a "fast food" place). My bread was extremely soggy, which means it was sitting there for some time) & where was my cheese on my chili CHEESE dog ?! read more

Holy flying weiner! I guess we ought to call this place stompschnitzel, I waited over 20mins. in the drive thru as the manager proceeded to have an altercation w/team member, so very unprofessional. Save the drama for later. The employee was so upset w/apparently being told to stfu by his manager that he threw all the orders that were up on the floor & proceeded to stomp them. I'm giving this yelp 4 stars because of the team work the other employees should in keeping the business up & running during this small crisis! Degrading your employees is untolerable, & shouldn't be allowed. read more

I don't normally review fast food places but this place was amazing and had such a great staff person who was kind and funny Tuesday night! My food was fresh, yummy and hit the spot! I had the mini corn dogs and chili cheese fries! read more

It's been years since I've been to one of these and I have to say, I was surprised how good it was. Even though it's kind of sloppy type food, it was all packaged & bagged well. Get the Chicago Dog, best thing I had and will definitely go back to get again. The Polish Sandwich was boring, won't get again. Wife liked her Corndog and she shared her Thousand Island Chili Cheese Fries with me & they were really good. Even the Jalapeno Poppers are good with ranch dip. read more

Always got fresh food- fast- tastes great and friendly staff! I highly recommend this location!

I've never had a problem with this restaurant.the food is always good and clean. The service is always nice(unlike McDonald's).

Went for the Nutter Butter Shake but gave into a corn dog, all beef chilli cheese dog and fries. Besides Costco where else can you get a good hot dog? But it is also over priced. It was $27 which was too expensive for a fast food hot dogs. I also tried the cheesy jalapeños bites. They were cheese and spicy which was good. The Nutter Butter Shake was good. read more

Was in oxnard for the weekend visiting family when I was craving something sweet. Someone suggested weinerschnitzel, I said I want something sweet not a hot dog. They said just trust us. So I went with it thinking this was all a joke. It was anything g but a joke. Couldn't make up my mind so the young man daniel suggested some of his favorites. This guy was right on the money with his banana split. I'm forever a fan now never In my wildest dreams did I think of hot dog stand for deserts. And never did I believe such mannerism exist still with this great young manager. 5 stars across the board for me read more

Times must be tough at the 'schnitzel.... I ordered a meal but each item was rung up separately at regular menu price? Unfortunately, I didn't notice it until I looked at the receipt after I drove away. The fries were completely oil-soaked and soggy. Their all-beef dogs are decent, but the regular hot dogs taste like gelatinized salt. I don't expect amazing things from fast food, but if I spend 14 of my hard earned dollars at a place, I shouldn't have to throw away half the food because it's inedible. read more

They messed up my order--twice! Thirty minutes later, when I asked for a refund, they tried to short me $5. On top of it, the workers failed to apologize or accept any responsibility, blaming everything on the "new girl". It was the worst fast food experience ever! read more

Love this Place! One of my favorite Chili Dog joints. Love there Chili Cheese Dogs, Chili Cheese Fries and Chili Cheese Burgers. Love there Corn Dogs, Pastrami Sandwiches and Ice Cream. Great customer service from the staff. Parking lot is small but it never gets crowded were you have to park in the street. read more

It's good, but nothing special. I'd go again, but would never crave it. Tired the burger and the hotdog.

Everytime I go to this location they screw up my order. Today, it was simple, add onions to everything and a hot dog kids combo. They gave me chilli dogs chilli burgers and chilli fries without onion. The fries were refried and nasty. The burger had everything in it except chili and it wasn't a hot dog. Idk how they can screw up a simple order but they did. Im in disbelief but I will be staying away from this location and warning others of it as well. read more

Wienerschnitzel just plain costs too much. 2.50 for a small Corn dog? The whole menu is exorbitant. A good selection but at those prices I'll go eat a steak. read more

Came through here late at night not expecting much, but I was surprised! I got the junkyard dog with a pretzel bun with a root beer float. Both were sooooo good. For a fast food place, Wienerschnitzel stands up to those "gourmet" hot dog places! My meal came out quickly and the girl working the drive through was so kind. Keep it up! read more

Great place to eat!! Felt hungry and craved a Chilli Cheese Tamale. Ended up getting it with an Oreo Chocolate Shake. Walked up to the walk-up window even knowing the line was long. But it was well worth it. Food was great and fast!! The cook was busting her behind keeping up with the orders, but came through fast. Stephanie for President!! read more

This franchise owner does not seem to understand that when customers say ez on the relish it simply means dont pile the relish where the bread gets soggy..instead the hot dog has 1/4 of a teaspoon or less of relish ..do you call that a hot dog,, i dont think so. Oh but it gets better or maybe worse because the hot dog was cold not hot like the previous owner used to serve the hot dogs. Seems like staff including the owner need training on food preparation. read more

Edit: since that rude lady has left , experience has been much more pleasant Food is not bad for a fast food hot dog place, ice cream machine is broke 9/10 times. Today was my first & LAST time here, I went in around 12pm & the girl who gave me my order was SUPER rude!
