So I love getting tofu bowls at restaurants like this, which is usually my only option (I am vegan). BUT ever since they got the plantspired streak I became a regular. I absolutely love the plantspired steak, it's so freaking good and even the owner of the restaurant told me that his sales were really good because of it. The owner is also super friendly and has personally brought my food out to me for a curbside pick up, which is what I always do. Whenever I get the chance and I'm craving some good plant based steak in a rice and veggie bowl I come here. I definitely recommend giving the plantspired steak a try! read more

Lunch rush staff have no sense of responsibility or urgency. I placed an online order at 1:09 PM for one bowl and an order of dumplings. The app said it would be ready by 1:21 PM. When I arrived at 1:18 PM, I had to walk around to the front because the back door leading to the parking lot was locked. By 1:45 PM nothing has been communicated to me--no employee has explained the delay, made any mention of it, or offered any sort of apology. Nothing. I understand that things can get backed up, but this kind of delay and lack of acknowledgment is disrespectful of my time and of the other people who have been waiting with me. I've watched people come in after me, order, eat, and leave. I was even handed an order that wasn't mine, despite announcing my name and that I was there for a pickup. I've wasted my entire lunch break waiting for food that was supposed to be ready 35 minutes ago. I left at 1:48 PM. They would not offer a refund, credit, or anything--just a "thank you for being patient." They ran out of chicken, she said. During lunch. read more

Absolutely 5 stars! Very friendly staff and the food is always delicious. They serve a lot of food as well. I go there a couple of times a week. Great food, great prices. read more

if you want a quick teriyaki bowl or a burrito or something, this place is a nice quick grab the line can get a little long so expect to wait around lunchtime but I think it's so worth it a quick grab chicken and rice for less than $10! read more

I've come here a couple times already. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Didn't seem very busy, but service was prompt and food was fresh and tasted great. I plan on continuing to come here! read more

Do Not recommend. A twelve year old took our order and cooked our food, was seen sneezing and wiping his arm multiple times. Forgot to serve us our $5 drinks. Side salad was drowned in dressing, meat was overcooked, and dumplings were undercooked and soggy. Service was disappointing and food overpriced unfortunately. read more

the service was okay, the girl at the front was nice. i know the food takes awhile to come out so that's understandable having a longer wait for the food, but the whole time we were sitting waiting my girlfriend had to pee really bad and the sign was out of order on the restrooms. and then right before we got to leave with our food, someone asked about the sign and one of the employees literally just peeled the sign off and said they were good to use it. very unprofessional, if you guys have a working bathroom then paying customers should be able to use it read more

Over $40 for 3 people to eat. Bland, tasteless food.! Honestly hospital food is better. Not sure how the place is still in existence!

Man, I love this place!!! The owners are so respectful. This place is just so good. The food is also super good. And had really great music too. read more

I used to come here all the time so I decided to come back and give it a try and I was a much worse experience. The kid at the register gave horrible customer service and gave us all of the change in quarters even though it was multiple dollars. The soda machine was out of soda so we ordered a bottled soda instead, the soda they gave us was expired. I brought it back to the counter and asked for a new one they put the expired soda BACK in the fridge then gave me a new soda that was even more expired unbelievable. Then after waiting for the food they only gave me a bowl when I ordered a plate. At this point I was over it and just took my bowl and left. Probably won't be back read more

Try the tacos!! Absolutely Amazing! Love the food here. Always feel healthy and full when I leave! Very kind staff and the place is always clean. Lots of parking in the back. read more

WaBa Grill - Steak tacos with WaBa sauce on the side! - Fast Food Near Me - Santa Paula, California

Again this place goes cheap on the meat and literally gives half of the serving that other WaBa Grills give. I literally drive to Fillmore to eat at waba because the Santa Paula one does this to me every time. Unfortunately I didn't have time today, but yet again I'm reminded of why I don't come here. read more

WaBa Grill - Again this place skimps on the meat. - Fast Food Near Me - Santa Paula, California

Ordered through the app and my pick up time was delayed by 20 minutes. I expected that with the delay as my order was still being prepped that my food would be hot or warm by the time I got home (a 5 mins drive) but all 3 bowls were cold. My chicken veggie bowl was only filled half way with rice and all 3 bowls I ordered had what looked like 1 small scoop of chicken. Not satisfied with the quality of food at all. Won't be back. read more

Best Waba Grill in the state. Incredibly friendly staff too. Very much recommend. 5 stars

If I could give this location 10 stars, I would! I literally go in there almost every Friday to pick up! And the one time that I can't, I had to DoorDash and they were able to help me over the phone fix everything that I didn't do right thank you guys for being so amazing!!! read more

I don't really eat fast food, but when I am craving something considered this; I get Waba Grill. I made an order online and upon arrival, it wasn't ready. This is not the reason they're getting a one star rating. I've worked in restaurants and understand they were busy. Rather, the rating is based on the fact that I ordered a plant based steak bowl. I was disappointed to quickly notice they used animal meat instead of the plant based steak. I've been eating plant based for over the decade; I can tell the difference. read more

This WaBa location is still pretty new in the Santa Paula area. Very clean and fast service. It was a Sunday late afternoon and not very crowded. My order was perfect and my food was perfect. Chicken was juice and full of flavor veggies were steamed properly to perfection and get this, My avocado was perfectly ripe no black to be seen on it!! That alone is a hard one to come up on. The dining area is inviting with Lights and a modern decor. plenty of space to sit for a meeting/family or just a couple. There's also plenty of parking in the back so do not be discouraged when you first pass by. I love have how WaBa is really healthy and has options from chicken, steak, salmon and shrimp. Very healthy and not to mention a great post workout meal also. I will definitely be comming back for more-yumm! read more

Good food and good service for a fast food type business. I would recommend trying the "non-beef" protein. Very tasty.

Came here right after this location opened, their food is definitely on par with their other locations. So if you liked their Waba you'll like this Waba. You can tell employees are new and a little slow going but the manager seems up to par and was helping the staff. Quick service. Fresh food. Only mild gripe was I ordered a side of shrimp and she said it was 2 pieces, I said ok. It was literally 2 pieces but at a different waba it was 2 skewers so I have no idea who was wrong on that but one of the two was! Still 5 stars tho! 10x better than SP Panda! read more

WaBa Grill - Half way thru my meal....one half a waba plate - Fast Food Near Me - Santa Paula, California

The addition of this space to dining in Sant Paula is notable; service, meal and atmosphere for dining in were great! Salmon plate including a fresh salad and half of an orange - contextually for SP- also had brown rice. I'd like more oranges please. Most of the business was taken out; to me, these folks are missing a chance to join the community at rest. How's many of those takeouts will be eaten at a desk? I'd rather show you pictures of how nice this is here. Applause, Waba! read more

Bad service. Girl who helped me out, had an attitude. Chicken was sprinkled on my bowl. I felt like I was just eating a rice bowl.

Manager has been harassing me over the phone and texting...over a missed payment that they forgot to collect in the first place. They threatened to pull payment out from my card without my authorization. read more

Awesome food, very friendly staff and a great variety of food, especially for those that don't eat meat. My dad and I had an awesome meal.

I have been coming since they opened, always great service. I'v been to other Waba grills and the quality of this one is superior by far. They give you extra protein and fresh food. I'm really happy they took an opportunity on this place so Santa Paula can grow. It's nice to see healthy food in our town. Sunny the owner came to talk to us while we were eating and he loves what he does. He's driven to give Santa Paula growth and truly cares about the quality he provides. Hardly do I ever see the owner be cooking or helping but he was. I hope nothing but the best for him and his family and his business. I really hope we support the growth in our community! read more

WaBa Grill - Fast Food Near Me - Santa Paula, California

My experience with this new WaBa Grill was quite subpar. It was truly exciting that Santa Paula finally got a new place to eat. However, the food was definitely not anything special. The chicken veggie rice bowl that I ordered was nothing different from one I can get a neighboring fast food chain. In fact, I can honestly say it was worse. The rise was hard and undercooked, the chicken had overdone pieces. It absolutely was not what I was expecting. What a shame, I guess it was not worth the hype. read more

LET ME TELL YOU... this is such a great place and an excellent addition to Santa Paula and the Ventura area. I think everyone should come here and give it a try. The service is top tier and I could probably say it's the best I've ever gotten. The managers were very welcoming and had a positive vibe. Even if I wasn't hungry I'd come to say hi to them. I love that the food is so fresh for being fast food. I personally prefer the waba bowl with avocado (which honestly they have the most fresh and green avocados you will ever see). Would highly recommend if you like not feeling guilty after eating but want the bang for your buck too. read more

Parking is a bit weird but worth. It's a solid little place with a healthy alternative to fast feed. Really appreciated in Santa Paula!

Really really good. My wife and I both got WaBa Bowls with avocado and enjoyed them. Our 4yo daughter is very picky and she loved it, too, so that was a big plus. The restaurant is super duper clean and the staff was very nice. The owner came out and talked with us for a while and visited with all of the other patrons as well. Best part is it is all locally grown stuff for the most part, even the rice we found out. So that's a huge plus for us. Definitely will be back! read more

Every time I have been to this Waba Grill location, the food has always tasted fresh and delicious. I usually get the chicken plate and have never been disappointed. Who else was excited to see Waba Grill plant roots in Santa Paula. I visit my Granny & Gramps as often as I can in SP! So we finally had a new choice, pickings are slim in town. I decided to do a to go order. The food was hot and fresh. I got the chicken & white rice bowl...I personally thought they could have added more chicken to it. I will order double chicken time. Gramps order chicken and beef of course for his hearty appetite. He loved it tasty and flavorful especially after he added the hot sauce. Reminded him of sriracha. I mixed both their signature sauce with hot sauce and oh my what a great combo. The place was clean and staff was organized and happy to help. Menu is small but with healthy choices beats fast food any day. read more
