Located in Ventura used to be a tiny spot but it has expanded ! Now ready for dine in. Ok , so I didn't have the bánh-mì! I know but I could not pass on the grilled pork vermicelli-bún and I can only eat so much The egg rolls to start were really good too! I will be back to try the bánh-mì and the boba! It's a bummer that we came on a bad night, but huge shoutout to the server really trying to hold it down. It looks like the area had a quick power outage, which pretty much made the restaurant unable to operate. Our food took nearly 40 minutes for the appetizer to come out, and then another 10 minute for the first of four entrees to come out. Needless to say, we ended up cancelling the rest of our order and going elsewhere. We did get to enjoy the fish sauce wings, which were delicious and I'd highly recommend! We were also able to take the banh mi we ordered togo, which was more like a banh mi in philly cheesesteak style bread. From the reviews, we were looking forward to eating some good Vietnamese food. However, it was pretty disappointing and I'm glad we kept our order small. I had the Spring Rolls with shrimp that were far from fresh. I would suggest a different protein if you're going to order the spring rolls. We also tried the Chicken Bahn Mi. The chicken had a lot of sauce on it. Nothing about the chicken looked grilled. It was more of a stewed chicken placed on bread. The more my husband ate it, the more he disliked it. The Banh Mi Grill is family run and offers an excellent and varied menu. It is my go to place when I'm craving Vietnamese food. The service is quick and the staff friendly and helpful. The Banh-Mi used to be mainly focused on take out, but have recently expanded and offers a large dining area, with table service. This was a Vietnamese restaurant located in a small strip mall with a limited amount of parking stalls. Inside they had a large sit down section with simple decor and a nice wall mural. when we visited they were filling all to go orders and ultimately we ended up just ordering their Banh Mis. They were a little pricey compared to those we get in NorCal but at least they were stacked with lots of meat. Chicken had a sweet marinade and together with the crunchy vegetables and pate it was very tasty sandwich. The grilled pork Banh Mi was also a good choice. For both, the bread was light and airy. Overall service was good but it took a bit longer to get our banh mis than expected. read more

Not expecting much from a strip mall fast food but l was pleasantly surprised. The non fried spring rolls were delicious and big. The sauces are all freshly made. Trang was so friendly and welcoming! We stopped for lunch on a Saturday. There were two of us and we started w the shrimp & pork spring rolls. They came out quick and were so freash and delicious! Served with peanut sauce, I had to control myself and not drink it. Yummy! We also shared a bowl of "create your pho" with Round steak & brisket. Broth was amazing, plenty of rice noodles and the meat was tasty and of good quality. I was excited to come eat there as they had recently opened a big additional space. Really awkward service and poor quality food. I returned my Korean BBQ beef ribs because they were really chewy and tasted old as if they just reheated them and added sauce on top of it. They agreed to give me a bowl of pho instead with no refund. My husband's spring rolls were bad and he only had a couple of bites, the peanut sauce was really watery and suspicious looking. The only person who liked their food was our toddler who had a bowl of pho off the kids' menu. We're visiting from a place that has a large Vietnamese community and accustomed to good Vietnamese food. read more

I am so glad I discovered this place earlier this year! They have the best pork vermacceli! I order that at least twice a month. The Ban Mi here are also HUGE! I also ordered pho to go around noon from here when I was sick and I ended up saving it until the evening because I was so tired. It was just as good heated up! 7/16/25 Order TNT grilled beef vermicelli noodles $14.95 (take-out for dinner later) and Grilled pork banh mi sandwich $12.75, ate this at the restaurant. Sandwich served slightly warm due to grilled pork, and stuffed w pickled veggies (shredded carrots & daikon) and fresh cucumber, both crunchy and a nice compliment to the meat and bread. The meat was nicely marinated and perfectly grilled. The bread is unbelievable delicious, slight-chew texture. The smear inside the bread is the owner's own-made pate (family recipe). I've also had their chicken banh mi before... seems like they're known for the sandwiches. I am looking forward to my dinner later this evening. If my opinion change, I will update my stars. You cant sit inside and everything is fresh to order so you just have to wait in the front area for them to bring it to you- but So convienirnt from the beach (about 5 minutes) so a great spot to enjoy. The shrimp crackers that come in the bag are wildly addictive and i didn't even know i wanted them until i ate the whole bag.
