Went for a quick lunch and wanted something fresh and hearty. Spring rolls were fresh and had a good protein to noodle ratio. The sauce was a little salty but the peanut added a good texture and taste.my wife and I split the Pho house special and 1 order was perfect to share between 2. The broth was rich, no shortage in all the proteins, and noodles were great. Also came with fresh basil, lime and bean sprouts and that made the pho even better. Service was great. We were always checked on and asked if we needed anything additional to our dining experience. Family ran and you could feel the genuine hospitality in the service. The had the TVs with the FIFA games on which was entertaining and if you want to sit outside they have patio seating available with umbrellas. They also have bar seating and table seating. The vibe is more a "to go", so no silverware and plates. It's all "to go" utensils and plates which I find convenient. The portions are huge! I ordered the friend rice and had food for a few days! My rice was packed with all the yummy ingredients - Chinese sausage, veggies , eggs and etc. Service was prompt. It was not busy when I stopped by on a Friday around 1pm. Cool spot with a beautiful murals. There's plenty of seating indoor and outdoors. Only negative was that there were men smoking at the tables outside. It was right by the door so I could smell the cig smoke. I would just want more mindfulness for those of us that don't want to be exposed to second hand smoke :/ It's a great locally owned spot! I will def be back. read more

Amazing service. Me and my partner dined inside and the server/front cashier was very kind and hospitable. He even gave me a suggestion with my #25 Wonton Soup W/Egg Noodles to dip the wontons in a sauce mixture of hoisin sauce, chili sauce and what I assume is their homemade version of sriracha sauce (I am a bit uncultured so I'm sorry if I assumed wrong, however it was very good). He even aesthetically served our Thai tea instead of serving a premixed version (he made sure ours was a gradient of the potent tea at the bottom and creamer on top, very nice). It was our first time here. My family and I came here for dinner and it was busy. So you need to order AND pay before you sit down. They don't have servers so you need to clean after yourselves. The "server" is also the cashier. And if you have leftovers you wanna take home, don't ask for containers because they already serve the food in the "to go" containers. Everything is disposable (utensils, chop sticks, all the food they serve in are as well). The food was pretty good though. Ambiance: 3/10 - Not a romantic place, but it is a quick spot to grab a quick meal. It's a walk up counter to order food. It isn't the cleanest with the sauce bottles looking dirty and could use a good wipe down (doesn't look appetizing to use and I think germs)! Maybe just have To-Go small prefilled sauces in plastic if you can't keep them clean? Inside is small and seating is limited, especially during lunch time in which you may not find a seat. Staff: 9/10 - friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food: 8/10 - Food is really good and has authenticity of good Vietnamese Pho and meat platters. This is a branch off of the old Pho Saigon that used to be in Pt. Hueneme, but closed. Overall rating: 6/10. Solid pho spot that never misses. I usually get the pho tai with or the beef vermicelli bowl, and both are consistently good. The broth is flavorful, the noodles are cooked right, and the meat is always super tender. I've also tried the eggrolls, spring rolls, fried wontons, rice dishes and those were also delicious. I was really looking forward to eating here today. We ordered two rice bowls, a pho, egg rolls, and spring rolls, and the food was delicious as always. Unfortunately, about 10 minutes after getting my food, I accidentally dropped my entire rice bowl. I was hoping they might offer to remake it, even if it was just a smaller portion, or show some understanding since it was an honest accident. Just don't expect any table side service. Just when they bring you your order. The young girl at the counter was friendly. When opting to eat here, you order at the counter, pay & seat yourself. Be patient, they're making your yummy food to order. Then they bring your food to you. Plastic Utensils & disposable chopsticks used here. Food is served in To Go bowls, which is perfect for me, Bec I usually have leftovers... Plus side of the To Go Bowls, Bowls are microwaveable!! I'm glad I finally got my Egg Noodle Soup Fix. Lauren is patient and super helpful when it comes to placing orders here at SKT. She keeps SKT running in the front in a clean and orderly fashion. She's nonstop, friendly, and a sweet vibe. We still come by, though not as frequently as we'd like due to work schedule. But when we get the chance, we still get our usual- #21 with extra noodles and #50 for their chicken. Honest Review - First Visit I visited this restaurant for the first time, and here's my honest impression: Food: The food itself was surprisingly good! I ordered pho noodles along with a side dish, and both were flavorful and satisfying. The rice was also delicious. On the food alone, I'd give it a solid 9/10. Presentation & Utensils: The downside is that everything was served in disposable plastic bowls with plastic spoons. For a sit-down meal, it didn't feel comfortable or enjoyable. A place with such good food really deserves proper dishes and utensils. Atmosphere: The biggest issue I experienced was with one of the kitchen staff. He stepped outside right by the entrance and started smoking, and unfortunately, the smoke immediately drifted inside the restaurant. When I asked him to stop, he just moved a few feet away, smiled, and continued. Since we had already paid (they charge upfront), we couldn't simply leave. The cashier apologized and quickly tried to shut the door, but the damage was already done. Saigon Kitchen Togo is such a great place to satisfy your pho craving. The whole layout of the restaurant is mainly set to be takeout since there weren't that many tables offered, but I decided to eat it there. I got the beef and tendon pho dish and it was piping hot, had great flavor, and the beef and tendon were tender. The noodles were as well to my liking. I really enjoyed eating this dish especially since it was such a cold day outside. It really helped warm me up. I also got it with some egg rolls which also were hot and fresh. Tucked in a small plaza, we came to try the place. Parking isn't too bad, but close-by spaces are limited and tight. Even though it's a To Go kitchen, there is an option to dine inside. Only thing is that the food is prepared for To Go so the food comes out in To Go boxes. Not a big deal as you now have the box ready to go if you couldn't finish your food. In total, we had a Spring Roll (shrimp and pork), Beef Pho, a broken rice dish, and a Bun. A wide variety of food and they weren't bad in our opinions. The quantity was ample and decent compared to the price being paid. The flavors hit the right marks for each of the food, but I wouldn't say they are the best. The Pho's is a bit on the more mellow side in terms of depth of flavors. The Spring Roll's vegetables inside were fresh, but didn't have a strong crunch. The Broken Rice Dish, while ample, the pickled vegetables and Egg Cake were lacking in their individual flavors. IE: The pickled vegetables weren't pickled enough. The Bun was ample too and my wife couldn't finish it. The fish sauce given was great in my opinion in that it definitely packed a punch. Not much service as you order at the counter and they just bring the food to you. The secret to good vietnamese is the fish sauce. And this fish sauce is spot on. Joey the owner is friendly and kind. And his son was at the counter and was very helpful. Excited a new spot opened in Oxnard. I ordered the fried chicken with fried rice and my gf got the wonton egg noodle soup. The chicken was nothing special, it was simply chicken lightly breaded and thrown in oil. No sauce, marinade, nothing. Not worth trying as anyone can throw chicken in oil. 2/5 Wonton noodle soup 3/5 in terms of flavor, but it is soup Togo. I might need to try some other things next time. read more

While there are a half a dozen tables the bottom line is the name tells you how they feel about dining in. They don't seem to like or appreciate it. Regardless if you eat there or get takeout it's packaged for take out, including a thick plastic bag, a thin plastic bowl with a (not easy to open) lid. Not exactly fun to deal with when there is near boiling hot broth content. In addition there is a bag with the bean sprouts, small piece of line, a bit of basil and small (very) container of hoisin sauce. The amount of plastic used for dining in is an environmental disaster. But, on to the food. First off I am a big fan of Pho Saigon, I'm there a couple of times a month. It's five stars plus in my book. The broth was OK, not nearly as good as PHO Saigon itself or a few others in Ventura County. You can tell me it's PHO Saigon's second location but you can't prove it by me and frankly does their reputation more harm than good. I ordered the #10, rare and well cooked beef version of Pho. There was well cooked beef and that's it. I've also read a few comments about the young fellow working the counter and answering the phone and yeah he needs a major attitude adjustment. He must be a relative of the 'owners.' He is dismissive, inattentive and too busy on his phone or watching the 'TV's" to be bothered with the job at hand and the bit I heard him on the phone taking orders was just as bad. What part of the 'hospitality' business does he not understand? Bottom line, I'm not bothering to go there any more. I'm only giving them three stars because I the food itself was OK, but no more. A 2.5 would be more like it. read more

This is the second location of the famous Pho Saigon in Port Hueneme and it definitely does not disappoint! The menu is about the same and the classics are all available at this location -- like my favorite Crispy Fried Chicken Broken rice (#47). Long overdue as the Pho Saigon is consistently packed with people, I'm so glad that they opened this new location! The store is much newer so it looks very clean. Will definitely be a go-to spot for sure. read more
