This review is for Sunday, July 19th at 11:00 AM. The man who waited on us was kind, attentive and efficient. Yay. He greeted us promptly and gave us time to figure out what we wanted. I ordered a large fry and a Diet Coke. The Diet Coke was out so I opted for water. The water was ice cold and came from the soda dispenser. Hubby and I shared the large fries. They were served in a brown bag and reminded hubby of fries he had as a kid. The fries were hot, salty, and weren't perfect looking. The taste was perfect. There was so many fries that we took some home. 1 order and we had leftovers! The next morning, Hubby cooked them with a bit of bacon grease and we ate them as a breakfast side. So clever! There are free peanuts to eat while you wait. That was fun. I used the app Upside to score 26% cash back. (My referral code is Diann7256) I will be back. As I was perusing the menu, I appreciated all of the hamburger and shake add-ons that you can get for free. Yes, a milkshake may be in my future from Five Guys. I happened to stumble into this place by accident and I ordered a peanut butter cup shake. I have to say its the absolute best shake I have ever had. The overall quality and ingredients were excellent. The place was clean and the service was top rate! I then went back for a cheeseburger and fries and the fries were fresh and seasoned perfectly . I don't eat burgers often, but when I am craving a quick take out burger, Five Guys is one of my favorite local options. I rarely eat any "fast food" like McDonalds, Jack In the Box, etc. and consider Five Guys to be a step above those places based on the quality of the food and how everything is cooked to order. I also don't feel sick to my stomach after eating there. I love the topping options like grilled mushrooms that Five Guys offers and the ingredients always taste super fresh to me. The fries with the skin on and malt vinegar are addicting and IMO far superior to In N Out. The prices have definitely gone up a lot over the years...the little cheeseburger and little fries was around $17, which does feel a bit steep, but that's how things go right now. The regular cheeseburger was only $2 more but I didn't want the calories of that, which are over 1000 by the time you add toppings and the little cheeseburger is always perfectly filling for me. When crowded, parking can be a bit difficult but I have always managed to find a spot. This location itself was very clean and the staff were all friendly. It was pretty empty at that particular location, with everyone getting orders to go, so it felt a bit depressing in there, but hopefully I was just in there at a slow time. read more

The Little Classic Combo was the perfect choice for them. At $12.99, it felt like a good value considering the high-quality ingredients. The cashier was friendly and helpful, even recommending the combo for the boys. They went all the way--grilled onions, mushrooms, and a bag full of fries to share. Definitely a home run! Beyond the food, I appreciated the clean and well-organized space. The bonus? Complimentary peanuts while you wait! Best of all, while they enjoyed their meal, I got to soak up the sun with a latte. My friend had a craving for a burger so we headed to Five Guys. I haven't had a Five Guys burger in several years. I got a bacon cheeseburger lettuce wrapped and I added mushrooms. It was so tasty I could have easily ate another one. Next time I would make it a double. No fries for me. I snacked on some peanuts after I finished my burger and took advantage of their create your drink fountain drink station where I filled up on Powerade Zero. The staff was friendly and quick and the dining area was clean. Would recommend! read more

It's nice that you can specify exactly what you want on the burger - many choices. Overall the burger and fries were very good - nothing exceptional but satisfying. This time they took my allergy seriously, and used a separate pan to salt my fries. It is the pan they normally use for unsalted fries, because me and cajun do not get along. Next even well done, the fries are still under cooked vs other locations. Without well done the fries are very undercooked. As for the burgers, those were quite tasty and had exactly what we ordered. I still love how the number the burgers and the numbers are the same on the receipt. This Five Guys location in Oxnard was great! I was in the mood for some Cajun fries so I decided to place an order for a cheeseburger and their famous cajun fries. I was able to place my order online and through their online portal you're able to notify the restaurant when you're nearby and alert them when you're there so they were able to finish your order and time appropriately so you have the ideal food temperature and maximum freshness. They're located right next to the Starbucks and the Color Me Mine and the Whole Foods section of the shopping area. Parking is generally decent and you should be able to find a spot out here but it may not be that close to the restaurant. Look restaurant itself is pretty big so there's lots of dining space here. It's an open layout so you're able to see a lot of what's going on. I also really appreciated how all their condiments and sauces were laid out and there was plenty available. Overall, the food was spectacular I was really happy to stop in. read more

Management Team and Crew needs to be retrained on customer service and understand it's the customers that help keeps them employed. And if the manager heard the conversation between employee and customer why didn't you intervene? Only thing I asked for is my money back because your employee chose not to make what I ordered. So my request was valid. I should've received a complete refund but instead you gave me back my money for my shake hope you at least gave the meal I left to someone else or the disgruntled customer employee . I came here for the first time on Saturday for dinner. I ordered the cheeseburger, which came with two patties and some delicious melted cheese. The patties tasted like they were handmade, not like the skimpy frozen ones. The only thing that I did not like about this place was how they did not serve combos. You have to buy each items separate & the items were sort of pricey. I also ordered some cajun fries, which were ok. I thought they could've been better though, as they were a little soggy.
