Not sure how they stay in business. To be honest the food taste was good. It was fine. No problems with that. BUT everything about my experience felt like a rip off. I paid $42 for a seafood platter with the smallest excuse for a Crab Cake ever. It was finger food at best. Shrimp? 5 total. Oysters? 4 total. And literally didn't get a piece of fish. It was the size of a chicken tender at best. In fact I've had Bojangles Tenders that are bigger. Me and my wife joked about how they even had a piece of fish this small. Literally felt like I got an appetizer portion of food. If that's the normal portions this place should feel ashamed for serving that at that price. We bought a coupon and have one left to used. It's SO BAD that I don't even wanna use my other coupon I've paid for. Eating the cost might be a better bargain than eating here again. Wow. Pathetic read more

The weather was mild enough in late March so we stopped here for drinks on the back patio. Our server was friendly and helpful and explained that if we wanted to order food, hot and cold food are served from two separate kitchens so if we ordered both, they won't arrive at the same time. We decided on sushi. They arrived fairly quickly, within 15 mins. Big slices of salmon sashimi and very generous portion of salmon in my roll, larger than I usually see. Husband was equally happy with his tuna roll. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The patio wasn't full so noise level was low until the restaurant raised the volume on their speakers. Then we had to raise our voices to talk to each other. Slightly annoying. We ate here during slow season so there was no wait for a table and not many people were on the Marsh walk. We had an okay lunch here while we were in Myrtle Beach. A short walk from the Voco Hotel, so we decided to give it a try. Best french fries ever. The rest of the food was good. I had a chicken panini and took home chicken tenders so delicious. I had the best waiter, Mr. T, so attentive and friendly. I was hesitant to ask for some sweet on top of my martini but he was so happy to help me. And of course, the view of the ocean is beautiful. They have free parking for customers. Food was good. Wickedly poor service for our group of 8 adults, 5 children. Everyone in our party had received their meals except one. We were told the meal "was coming." After 10 minutes, we needed to seek out the manager to ask the status of the meal and was informed the meal "fell off the tray." It would have been nice to know that when the other meals were served. The sushi appetizer that was ordered before our meals arrived after everyone finished their dinners. In the restaurants defense, the charge for the appetizer was removed; and the 20% gratuity was removed also. The lost meal was discounted by 50% since the meal was actually delivered to the table 20 minutes later. I do no know if I will return to Wicked Tuna, Murrells Inlet, SC. read more

I was staying at a hotel about a mile away from this place and decided to give it a try for dinner. It is right on the beach at the 2nd avenue pier. The restaurant occupies the second and third floors of the building. I decided to sit indoors on the second floor and it was a good decision. I got a good table along the window overlooking the pier. The menu has plenty of appetizers, handhelds, sushi and entrees. I ordered the fried seafood platter. It came with fried fish, a crabcake, fried shrimp, fried oysters, fries and hush puppies. All of the items tasted good. I had to ask for some tartar sauce and cocktail sauce but once I did they quickly brought it out. Service was good from my server, Taylor. We ate at this restaurant for Mother's Day. Unfortunately they did not have a Mother's Day brunch but the menu is so broad with food that it made up for it. I got the Hugo Spritz to drink. It was light and delicious. For apps we got calamari and Rockefeller oysters which were both delicious! Highly recommend both. As an entree I got chicken lettuce wraps and they were delicious as well. Highly recommend them. Overall the service was great as well as the food and I will definitely try this restaurant again. Honestly with the name I kinda expected a little more.. plain but well maintained and view are awesome! My waitress was super nice and waited til I finished appetizer to bring entree which I am very glad of.. never felt rushed! Elevator is very slow but could be weather because it's been rainy today.. if you wanna go on the attached pier you have to pay $1 I think .. I asked if it's waived when you bring your receipt from eating but no.. I had oysters Rockefeller which were 6 good size oysters lots of flavor! Then I had a specialty sushi roll! Good window views of the beach & accessible for people in wheelchairs or who use walkers because of the elevators. Came here with my family and my grandma who is a food critic and uses a walker, and she really liked her food! My brother and mom always really enjoyed their food but honestly my burger was just ok and my boyfriend got the strawberry bleu cheese salad and it came out without any toppings at first (just diced chicken, tomatoes, and dressing) and then when they made it a second time it still didn't even have strawberries. I've eaten at both locations In the grand strand and there is a big difference. The food is absolutely to die for. Best sushi in Mrtyle beach area. The Mrytle Beach location is a little rushed. On a cold February birthday, we braved the cold wind seeking out something. We weren't sure what, but something. Last second turn into the parking lot and up three flights of stairs. Ask for Tyrick. He know the menu by heart, can suggest choices when you are unsure and don't get me started on the drink menu. The candle was the perfect surprise! The restaurant itself was nice. However, our kids meal chicken strips were not edible, due to be cooked hard as a rock. We ordered a meal that we thought was 19.99 that ended up being 39.99. We even pointed to it on the menu, but our waiter just said no it's 39.99. He only came back to our table once during the whole meal, but went to the table next to us every 5 min or so. Otherwise, food was good, but did not expect the $100 bill for 2 meals and a kids meal with waters to drink. Will definitely not return. read more

We visited Wicked Tuna for the first time and Loved it with a capital 'L'! We sat on the rooftop covered patio. Tip..choose a high table to better enjoy the view... There were a number of things on the menu we wanted to try but opted for the salad with the ginger dressing (which I literally could have lapped up it was do yummy and not the typical sweet one and truly unique? and I added the crab cake (best I've ever had). Hubby had the ribeye with fried mac & cheese, and roasted veggies which he polished off happily. Service was excellent as well. What more could you ask for?!? When you are seated, they take your credit card before ordering dinner to open a tab. They also tell you 15% will be added automatically for server. The food was okay. I ordered a shrimp boil dish that was good but did not appear to be fresh seafood. gratuity before you order. Did not see the server again until we received our check. But, the house manager processed our credit card. It seems like they go through many servers at the Myrtle Beach location. No other restaurant we visited over 7 days had this policy. I was looking for seafood and I saw on the map that this place was close to the hotel, I decided to go for a walk and check it out. Let me start by saying that the food was tasty. The oysters were good and seemed fresh, which is good. The Lobster Tail Trio was excellent, but one of the three seemed old or over cooked. Service was okay. I ordered a beer and it took quite a while for it to be delivered. The restaurant was not busy at all. The oysters were delivered quickly and so was the main course. Second beer was also slow to be delivered so maybe it was the bar that was busy or slow. The ambiance was nice, but the windows were so dirty you could barely see through them. The table had been wiped down, but not well and was dirty still. When I looked around I noticed that the ceiling fan was filthy. I did not visit the test room because at that point I was worried what I might find and you know what they say about a restaurant if the bathrooms are dirty. read more

Wicked Tuna used to be the highlight of our trips to Myrtle Beach. The food was once fresh and delicious with an extensive menu. As of 04/03/26, this is no longer the case. You have to go upstairs to the bar area to go to the restroom as the restaurant is downstairs. The service was good. However, I heard the waitress make a comment about us all paying with separate checks... it was a semi- large party of 12 and we needed to split the bill. Her comment was 'this is crazy.' I can understand that situation could be overwhelming, but keep your comments to yourself or wait until you're not around customers.... Another issue was one of my family members had their plate taken away before she was done with it. Possibly the best meal we've had down here during the week we've been here! We came at an awkward time - around 3pm, so no surprise that we were seated immediately and at a table overlooking the beach no less! My stepdaughter ordered a mocktail and I had the blueberry Basil lemonade. Both were so good, cold, and refreshing! My husband had an Arnold Palmer and it was perfectly balanced. The food was GREAT. The she crab soup was the best I have had of the three times I've had it this week. The roasted beet salad was beautiful and delicious. We also had the tuna tartare appetizer... not your standard tartare flavors, but equally delicious. My husband had a wedge salad and he thought it was very, very good. Server was nice and attentive. The grouper bites were AMAZING and the best thing I ate during our trip to the beach. A little spicy but the fish was flaky and succulent. Beet and arugula salad was also great with delicious flavors and textures. The feta yogurt spread was a delicious base and counterpoint to the tangy beets.
