    My Omelette
    Rae M.

Nothing to see here, but average hotel food at sky high prices. Yes, the service was friendly, but the food wasn't. We came in for a quick breakfast since we had a spa appointment and was greeted by the extremely friendly and helpful gentleman that makes the omelettes. (Wish I remembered his name, because he deserves a special shout out) He was truly the saving grace and the reason I bumped my rating up one additional star. The better value is to get the breakfast buffet because it's $28 and some change and includes your beverages. The buffet consisted of potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fruit, etc. All of my food was lukewarm, despite being in warmers. I also ordered a made to order omelette and it was pretty tasty. I'm sure you're paying for convenience, since the restaurant is within the hotel, but we've eaten at so many other better places offsite that were much cheaper. Won't be dinning here again.

In short, this is overpriced hotel food. The drink prices are mind blowing. The service is wonderful and the views are beautiful. It's a nice place to come and sit for the view and a drink or two. I wouldn't recommend the food, other than the Shrimp Cargot, which is delightful!

Traditional Turkey Club with Sweet Potato fries.

We did not stay at the Marriott but the restaurant received good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. We were there at about 12:30-1pm on a Friday and were the only ones in the dining room and had a nice view over the pool area. The menu wasn't that big and I ordered the Cuban sandwich with homemade chips. The chips were very good and the sandwich was good but was a little fatty. My wife ordered the Turkey club with the sweet potato fries. Everything about this sandwich was very good and the fries were prepared perfectly. If you want a quick light lunch. This is a very good place to visit.

This was a total surprise for us. They have 2 areas that Ocean's provides food. The Bar area which you can sit outside and overlook the pool area and see the Ocean and also a restaurant area for Ocean's. Great views of the pool and Ocean. The staff is excellent in every way. We did have dinner in the bar area and it was great. The restaurant area was breakfast , and excellent also. The pricing is not bad at all for a Inclusive Resort, I have paid twice the price and not even close to the quality of food I received here. Give it a try and I am sure you will agree.

When visiting for a family beach trip, we decided to try this beloved seafood buffet. Along the strip in Myrtle Beach, the roads are lined with a plethora of Seafood Buffets ranging from small family owned to large attraction-like restaurants. Without having tried any of the other options, I would say this has to be the best in town. The atmosphere, staff, variety of food offerings, and taste were unmatched. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique buffet experience. The exterior of this restaurant is massive and felt like a large Shopping Center with beautiful landscaping, water features, beautiful windows, and colorful siding. Upon arrival, we were asked at the door our party size. They had two entry lines based on table sizes. Since our party was four, we were sent to the shorter line and did not even have to wait to be seated. As we were walked to our table, we passed massive sailing ships complete with rows of hot and cold foods. The ceiling was reminiscent of the ocean skies. The entire restaurant felt like an experience already. I was amazed by the theming, cleanliness, and attention to details. For adults, the buffet is right around $50/person + drinks and tax. The buffet is all-you-can-eat with mutiple serving lines placed around the vast dining hall. As a picky eater, I was honestly a little worried that the offerings would primarily be seafood options; however, I was happily surprised that the buffet line had a LARGE selection ranging from Chicken Tenders and Fries to Pulled Pork and Macaroni and Cheese. I was actually very excited to find so many of my favorite foods and be able to eat just a little of them all! Some other offerings I added to my plate include hush puppies, corn on the cob, fried fish sticks, rolls, and cheddar biscuits all in one trip. My brother is more adventurous in his selection and was able to try different fish and crab legs with multiple trips. They had almost two whole buffet areas filled with seafood dishes that I didn't even visit. His favorite was just the shrimp! They also have a whole dessert room with a wide range of sweet dishes. To be honest, some of the food was mediocre or tasted similar to standard buffet-food-quality. The macaroni was a little bland. The fries were a little soggy. However, the restaurant was so busy that food was being rotated and changed out quickly on the buffet line. Overall, the entire experience was fun and unique. The restaurant was very expensive for a family of four, especially when you're not eating over the top or making multiple trips; however, the nautical theming, food selections, and service set this buffet apart from many others. You'll find something to eat whether you're picky or love the most adventurous of seafood dishes.

Kicked off the meal with some grouper bites. Wasn't sure what to expect from them, but pleasantly surprised. They were lightly battered. The grouper was light and flaky and really delicious. They give you a sauce called "Yum Yum" so dipping them in the sauce was a nice touch. Kicked off the meal with a nice fresh side salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Nicely done. Went with the blackened salmon dinner on rice. The server was terrific and very attentive and the meal came out quick and hot. The blackened salmon wasn't overly blackened. The fish was not fishy tasting. The rice and the steamed veggies were both terrific. Slide a cocktail in your hand and just kick back and relax. This is an excellent place.

Service was good with exception of having to go up to the bar to get by soda refilled. On the food, my wife ordered Clam Chowder and a fried Shrimp and Oyster basket. She said that the tasted mostly potatoes and little clam in the chowder. Her other issue was that the Oysters weren't fried enough for her. My granddaughter ordered Chicken pasta-she said it had a strange taste and didn't like it. I tasted it and there was a strong peppery taste that was off putting. I had Raw oysters which were fine and blackened grouper which was overcooked but okay. Just not as good as I heard and a price of $120 for 2 adults and 1 child.
