Yessss to SoHo!!! In town for a work function, we stopped here on our last night and let me tell you 5 STARS!! Everything from the ambiance to the food to the live music, excellent! We started with appetizers and soups but nothing could compare to my bang bang shrimp and chicken hunni!!! My mouth is watering right now as I reminisce. Anywho, we enjoyed the dim lighting, it gave grown and sexy. We had an awesome server, forgot his name but everything came out delish. I want to highlight that fried calamari BABYYYY it was so freaking good. Whoever is in the kitchen, give them a raise IMMEDIATELY! Trust me, I'll definitely be back. read more

Stopped by for a quick bite and drink. Nice decor and the upstairs bar had more seating than downstairs . Ordered sliders, beef skewers, tuna roll and salmon w drinks. Lots of servers grouped up at the bar chatting up the bartender , who was a very nice person The drink was meh, and I've never seen a slider so plain, no garnish , and cold, would not order again read more

According to my mom, this is fairly new to the Carolina Forest Area and they also have another location. A group of 7 of us came here for her birthday last night. The entire inside is very trendy, clean and attractive to the eye. Beautiful for nice photo opts. We decided to sit on the rooftop and it was gorgeous and comfortable. We all decided to get a couple of apps to start off, my Aunt wound up getting the Bang Bang shrimp and crab Rangoon's which I tried they were both just phenomenal! I ordered the Spicy Tuna and Seaweed Salad and they were both so unbelievably fresh, I don't even remember the last time I have had sushi that good. My mom also got a sushi dish which was very enjoyable. For dinner I ordered the Steak Hibachi which came with a salad or soup- I opted for the Salad which I felt like the dressing could have more of a ginger kick to it. The Steak in the Hibachi was great along with the vegetables but it did not have that authentic Hibachi taste. The fried rice as well missed its mark. My Step-Father ordered the Spicy Pad Thai which I thought was delicious. The cocktails here were a hit or a miss- they were good but feel like they can incorporate fresher ingredients- however the all star cocktail was the Key Lime Martini which was just the perfect dessert cocktail. For dessert they brought my mom a complimentary Lava Cake which was nice and I ordered a Crème Brûlée Cheesecake which was just ok. My husband got a cappuccino with frangelico and the cappuccino cup wasn't filled up all the way which I thought was strange. Our waitress was very nice and the service was good. I kept going back and forth about whether to give it 3-4 stars (where I would prob in reality opt for 3 1/2 if that was an option.) This place does have a lot of hits and misses with their dishes but the overall experience was great. I would easily go back again and just go to town on the appetizers the next time I come to visit! read more

We came here because our friends were here before and very much liked it. Great versatile interior. The seating is available on two floors. The second floor service was slow and we sooner realized that our server is also the bartender for the floor. The gentleman was very nice and friendly. The friends said that the food from the 1st floor sushi chef that they had the other day was much tastier. The cocktails were watery and not impressive. Overall beautiful place. Maybe no drinks, just food. Bang bang Soho Shrimp and Crispy Sushi Taco are especially tasty! read more

So this is my first time at this location but I've been to another one before and it was really good. I was able to get a reservation for 5 and we were sat quickly. We ordered crispy rice with spicy tuna, super crunchy roll, pad Thai, bang bang salmon, crispy sushi taco with spicy salmon, and chicken and filet mignon skewers and we shared it. Every was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. I am honestly surprised at the previous reviews because our service and food was amazing unless it was just a good day. We celebrated my dad's birthday and he got a free dessert. My daughter wanted the lava cake which she said was really good and ate the whole thing lol. I would recommend everything we ate and since my parents live at the beach now , I'll prob come here again and order more. read more

The new Soho in Carolina Forest might just be the best location yet! Starting off with the tuna bombe is a must, it's a flavorful, well-balanced appetizer that sets the tone for the rest of the meal. From there, the sushi rolls truly stand out. Easily some of the freshest you'll find in the Myrtle Beach area, each roll tastes high-quality and thoughtfully prepared. And don't even think about skipping dessert the banana toffee pie is an absolute must. It's rich, indulgent, and the perfect way to end the meal. The atmosphere adds even more to the experience. Whether you're going for a casual dinner or celebrating something, the space works perfectly--especially with their great outdoor lounge area that's ideal for groups or a fun night out. read more

Went for lunch on a Thursday. Food, service and atmosphere amazing. The specialty cocktail from the menu was a huge disappointment. Someone needs to quality check the daytime bartender. read more

Extremely disappointed! My first glass of wine tasted like vinegar - obviously the bottle was opened long long ago! I asked for a different wine and the second glass was better , but it almost tasted like the bartender mixed the old wine I was served with some other one! The surprises continued when I ordered a third glass that supposedly should much the second , but it didn't! Every one on the table compared the wines in both glasses and the conclusion was that they were not the same! I explained the situation to the management and the staff and they did nothing about it! Even worse - they made me feel like I was the problem! I hope the owner reads the reviews! The place has a lot of potential: nice atmosphere, Dj on the weekends , good vibes! At the same time: Unprofessional Management, Bed Service and Mediocre Food! read more

I absolutely loved having lunch here. The staff were absolutely fantastic and the food was delicious. read more

It fails on so many levels. Some are not that important, but when one dinner order doesn't show until everyone else is almost done, and when it does, it's mostly inedible--fail. Drink orders were slow, and there was no entry for an old-fashioned. The waiter was so confused because it was not a drink option. Dinners came out before appetizers for half of the table. The waiter kept apologizing. The bar was backed up-- the bartender was chatting with a friend and not filling orders. The sushi team was backed up. Etc... The reservation was for downstairs due to multiple people with disabilities, but we had to go upstairs at a high top or wait an hour. I was not impressed on any level. Well, the sushi was good. And I privately contacted the restaurant because this one in the local chain just opened a few months ago. They didn't respond--another fail. They have a lot to learn. Beautiful spot. Need to back it up with service. read more

Good food and service. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. The ambience is great as well

The food is very good and well prepared. The sushi is fresh and visually appealing. The menu is extensive and spans different cuisines. This full-service restaurant in downtown Myrtle Beach is a great location with a rooftop lounge. There is ample customer parking and a Valet is available. read more

We had an absolutely amazing experience. We were greeted at the elevator by the hostess and shown to our table. Our server Lily was fantastic, she gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted to order and had such a great personality. We had cozy corner booth that with a wonderful view of the restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend! read more

Service was terrible. Wanted to try, not too busy, so went for a birthday celebration. We never got our soups or salads until I inquired after the main course. Two of us never got our food at all. When we asked the manager, Mickey, it was comical how bad we were treated. Acted like it was a bother to talk to us and never apologized, just blamed the kitchen. Last time I checked, the kitchen is part of her responsibility. The food we got was about a 5 and then you add poor service. read more
