California Roll, Snow Crab Roll, Mulan Roll
N. S.

Ordered this through UberEats because most places don't deliver so late at night! (It was an hour til midnight). Anyway, we ordered the California Roll, Snow Crab Roll, and Mulan Roll all in Maki style and we loved it! I would I would definitely recommend the Mulan Roll! Soooooo delicious. Oh also, we added specific instructions when we ordered thru UberEats and the cook followed all of them! We asked for extra soy sauce on the side, no ginger in our rolls, and 4 chopsticks; they delivered! Thank you Mulan Japanese!

Price

So we ordered over the phone because my grandma was ordering and they charge $5 more in the restaurant than they do online for filet mignon. I understand it's filet mignon but obviously we wouldn't have ordered 2 of them had we known that ??

We really enjoyed this hidden gem. I didn't want any fancy Schmanncy sushi place- I wanted a real sushi place. The sashimi was delicious and you could tell it was made with love. The pho' was excellent, too The pricing was a little high for not being the cleanest place but it was still good. Our server was very talkative and fun. It is counter service but they being your food out. I would go back again.

$19.99 scallop dinner but More rice then anything

We purchased the teriyaki chicken dinner $9.99 which had no teriyaki on it. The scallops were $19.99 and I received about 7 whole scallops they were cut into fours so it looks like you get more when they fall apart. I order from Nagano's in Socastee you receive about 20 for $16.99 and they are amazing. They charged .50 each for hot sauce yet the cups were not even filled up but half way. We have ordered here before the new owners to give a 2nd shot but this will be last time now. Not worth the money. Sorry

Really good. All the food was cooked great! Will definitely be back! The sushi was great and does come topped with caviar.

Chicken and shrimp

I wasn't totally impressed. Chicken and shrimp and all the veggies were overcooked (veggies burned). The flavor was ok, but I've had much better. The chicken was old and very dry - very disappointed as I ate while traveling from out of state.

This was my visage of this great establishment.

Another late night run to the WM Super Center, ho hum... Upon leaving I spy a sign that merely said "Mulan". WTF. That tells me nothing. Upon further inspection we see the sign is broke and should say "Mulan Japanese" Chan, my wife, is elated. "I would love some rice." It's 10:58. We better hurry. We hurriedly pull up to the door Sunday 11am-2am WTF?!? And it's PACKED. She gets her standard Hibachi Steak and Shrimp. I get me a 6 oz bottle of Saki after her encouragement that she'd drive. This place gets more and more full as I finish my saki. It reminds me if the "24-Hour Wicker Store" on the old Police Squad series. The food was all great. The price and attitude were spot on. Great establishment.

My wife loves the pho here. Only avail thur-sunday. I cant stay away from the steak hibachi. Soooooooo much better than jimmyz.

They have a wide variety of sushi and sashimi (which I couldn't have at the time being pregnant). The pan fried gyoza was good and the hibachi was pretty decent. The portion wasn't huge, but satisfying. The steak was cooked well. It came with fried rice and the grilled veggies. I just wasn't too impressed by their hibachi sauce. I typically prefer a ginger based sauce for hibachi rather than the mayo based sauce. Still a good option for late night dining as opposed to fast food.

I would highly recommend going here if you are looking for good quality sushi in Myrtle Beach!!…read more Service: Went here a few weeks ago for dinner with a party of 8. Noted upon walking in that 18% gratuity is included for all party sizes, which was not an issue since the service was great! Christina (spelling?) was very attentive and made great sushi recommendations. Food: My grandma is very picky and typically prefers Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine, and she got the Hong Kong Style Noodle Soup which she said was delicious! All the other food was also great, sushi and entrees included. I just personally would pass on the Gyoza next time as the fried ones were a little too greasy for my taste. Ambience: when we went it wasn't crowded so it was pretty quiet inside. Overall a great experience and will definitely be stopping here next time I am in Myrtle Beach!

During a September 2024 vacation with a group, we went to Broadway on the Beach a couple of times. One of the nights the organizer of the trip wanted to go to a Hibachi place. My girlfriend & I didn't care that much about getting hibachi, and it's pretty expensive as hibachi tends to be. We ended up splitting a good amount of sushi rolls. It was a 3-roll combination, which came with soup & salad. I ate the salad & most of the soup, my g/f tried a couple of bites. We also added calamari, which my g/f ate more of, but she shared some. Everything was delicious. And we still got to see the hibachi show that the cook made, which was entertaining. Most of the group got the hibachi, but we weren't the only ones to not do the hibachi. Our sushi & food in general was solid. We also split a wine, which was good too. Staff was pretty nice, but a couple of things ran a bit slow, but overall it was pretty good service. At the end, we asked if they charge a credit card fee (as a lot of restaurants in Myrtle Beach did), and I had large wads of cash prepared to pay cash everywhere, and I was pleasantly surprised when they said no; so I paid credit here.

Great staff and food! First time ever having hibachi and it was definitely memorable. I recommend…read moregoing with their seafood options, our chef knocked it out of the park. Very respectful of my wife's food allergies too.

Highlights were the honey chicken, coconut shrimp, butter shrimp, pork dumplings, bbq ribs, and believe it or not, the dessert! Really good ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and maybe cookies and cream), banana pudding, chocolate pudding, cookies, sweet bananas... yum! We were there around 2pm so no crab legs, but it was still an excellent value. I would recommend skipping the Mongolian-style grill. The sushi was decent but I wouldn't go to this buffet if that's your focus - there are maybe 8 kinds. I enjoyed the salmon wrapped crab roll though. Not a date place, but I think the word buffet pretty much sums that up. However, it was clean and comfortable.

To start, didn't acknowledge my presence for several minutes once I was at the counter. There was no one else in the building a woman taking orders and a man cooking. No personality whatsoever! Steak (dog?) was not edible full of grizzle and dry. Chicken (cat?) was also horrible - dry chewy. How hard is it to get the rice right? ABSOLUTELY GROSS! LOOK AT THE COLOR EVEN! Paid $17 and change left the change from a $20 as a tip for doing NOTHING! WORST $20 EVER SPENT ON FOOD!

As someone who has worked in this industry, I recognized just how chaotic it was for the staff. However, the service from start to finish was impeccable. And the food was absolutely delicious. All of these folks had several people to deal with from moment to moment, yet they treated each interaction at a very personal and attentive level. I would like to give particular emphasis on the two ladies at the front desk/hostess stand. I believe one of them was named London if I recall correctly. Absolutely amazing service from them. And the bartender, her name was Tina. She was by herself and getting absolutely slammed with orders from the restaurant and people waiting to be seated. And while we were there, there was also an upset customer she was trying to handle a dispute with, yet she handled that, and everyone else waiting in queue, with absolute professionalism and kindness. The server, and the hibachi chef, were also very good and warm and welcoming. Very impressed with how everybody handled such a chaotic night. We will be back. And hopefully London, and Tina, and everyone else will be working because we know we're in good hands there. Thank you all so much for a wonderful Christmas Eve meal. Highly recommend this place.

So I asked about ordering hibachi to go because it looks similar to what we have in California called Benihana. They said they cannot take orders over the phone we had to come in and order and wait. So I came in after looking at the webpage knowing exactly what I wanted to order for sushi because I can't order hibachi. I asked what the deal was with the hibachi and they said that they don't do hibachi to go; only on Sundays. I said OK so then if people come in they can have hibachi any day? She said no it's completely random when they get a hibachi chef in. I said so in other words people have to call and see if you even have a hibachi chef? She said yes it's very frustrating for everybody. I said that's very unprofessional and I don't know how a business can do that. I was brought over to where I order sushi and the menu is completely different than their webpage. I asked the guy about the rolls that I wanted to order and I pulled up the webpage showing him that the menu they have here is completely different than online and the prices are different. I told the guy he needs to tell the manager that they need to fix their webpage so that it's accurate with menu items and pricing. So they get an F for them not keeping everything updated, no online or phone orders and not even having a hibachi chef that's on staff every day it's just ridiculous. When I gave the guy money to pay for my stuff he's sitting there waiting there as if I'm gonna tip him. You don't need to tip on to go orders.... you're not providing me a service that deserves a tip, plus he kept my change anyways. When I got my rolls I took them to go. They were not made with the ingredients that they were supposed to be made with. One was extremely blah and flavorless. The other was just ok.
