So amazing!! Really miss the guy that was there often. Super friendly staff and I genuinely miss the food. Hopefully they start up somewhere else so that I can return. read more

I brought my family of four here on a Saturday at 12:00 for lunch and we the only ones there. We were greeted and told to just pick a table right away, which was nice . Then we were given four styrofoam small kid cups for water with a plastic carafe. The top of the carafe was white but stained pink from the water sediment buildup, obviously not cleaned in some time. As we tried to order the a language barrier became apparent. We tried to order just plain broth and the lady didn't understand. We ended up ordering appetizers and all three were disappointing. Potstickers were over priced at 13.95 , with the off putting mystery meat inside. 4 small egg rolls were probably the best of the worst served in half a Togo styrofoam container. Wings appetizer was made from poor quality chicken drums and wings , from deformed and broken bones ether wings were unappetizing. Over all this place amazed me for still being open with such poor quality food , the service isn't terrible but certainly can be improved upon. I would never go back or recommend this establishment. The locations setup has a to go counter or table service available. When you are seated they bring a plastic jug of water with styrofoam cups for your party and small menu books for each guest. There were only two people tonight running the restaurant and they were very friendly and welcoming. I had come a few times last year too and for some reason the quality of the food it seems is very different. I once again ordered the Roast Pork Ramen and others at my table ordered tempura shrimp, egg rolls, and fried chicken. The portion of the pork seemed smaller than last time and the egg wasn't as runny. The broth was alright but the flavor was pretty light until I was halfway done, coming through more potent in the bottom half of the bowl. The noodles too didn't seem as dense as last year but the kikurage mushroom was a nice texture. The staff is friendly and the location is well taken care of in terms of cleanliness and organization. However, if I do come back I will probably stick with some of the fried selections or dumplings next time. The prices and portions are fair for the food given and the atmosphere is very relaxed. read more

This place was amazing and I didn't even know it was there as many times as I have been to Myrtle Beach. I will definitely be going back when I go back to the beach. The food was amazing and it was really quiet. We were the only ones there at first but then more people started to come in. I was never really big on boba but I tried the milk tea boba and the brown sugar boba. The brown sugar is now my favorite and I will go back for more. read more

Fantastic ramen place that I just stumbled on! Spot on chicken ramen, pork dumplings, and a Thai bubble tea. Great service, friendly, and not too big of a menu that you'd spend an hour reading but just enough choices. Will definitely be back soon. read more

Royal Ramen - Chicken ramen, Thai bubble tea, and pork dumpling - Ramen Near Me - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

The service is very nice here! Not too busy so we got to choose where we sat. The food was pretty good too very surprised to see they have black fungus salad on the menu! Moving here from Vegas I never thought I'd be able to find it in a restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised. The black fungus was amazing even my husband liked it. The green scallion and pancake was a little greasy but still tasty and cooked perfectly. Crunchy outside chewy inside! My husband got the miso ramen and he enjoyed it very much and ate the whole thing. He also really liked their chili oil they have in the tables. I got the juicy pork dumplings they were very juicy like the name says and nice pork flavor. read more

The ramen was outstanding. Noodles were homemade. The broth was very rich and tasty.

Terrible ramen. Ordered the seafood ramen and it was missing half the ingredients. The broth was bland and the noodles were caked together. Would not recommend. Complete waste of $17 P.S Made my wife very sick after eating it as well. read more

Recommended by a local friend, the food at Royal Ramen is delicious, fresh, and the vegetarian selection is great! We loved the tofu skin, leek patties, vegetable dumplings, vegetarian ramen, and steamed vegetables. We did take out the two times we visited and they did a great job packaging the food. We will visit Royal Ramen each time we visit the Grand Strand!! read more

Service was great for take out. Food was fresh. The soup Dumplings were out of this world, like the flavoooor profile was givingggg, and worth the $13, and I got the number 20 cause I need everything ‍ read more

Ramen was okay. Not the best I've had and for 2 bowls of ramen and spicy wontons it was pretty pricey. The wontons were good though. There wasn't much meat put in the ramen. I got the ABC ramen which has one piece of short rib (mine was all bone.) one thin piece of pork, and one tiny piece of chicken. The chicken was the best tasting part of it. read more

Excellent authentic Japanese ramen! There aren't many places where you can get Asian cuisine like this in Myrtle Beach, but even with that fact, the quality of food is excellent. The service was very helpful and friendly, and this is definitely a family owned business which I love. The layout definitely matches those of other Asian restaurants, adding to the authenticity. If you love good ramen, definitely check out Royal Ramen! read more

Amazing food, great portions, decent pricing it can add up quick though if ur a big back , more than half of the time the restaurant is empty . The customer service is all right, but if you don't like people yapping your ear off while you eat then this is the perfect place for you. read more

Had Roast pork ramen (brother was flavorful and deep) and also Chicken cutlet over rice and side of steamed bok choy (vegetables) and it was all very delicious! I went slightly after peak lunch hours so it wasn't as busy, service was very friendly and most importantly, fast. I went with my little one and they had a high chair for the youngin. read more

Miso ramen was just ok, but the soup dumplings were amazing. I'd come back for these.

VERY GOOD, although they didn't have tonkotsu but they did have pork ramen, still good. Spring roll was Ight, could be better

Please please please don't go to this restaurant!!!! We called to see if there was a wait because everywhere else was about an hour wait. As soon as we called and asked for a table for 10 people the man said to come now there is no wait. As soon as we got to the restaurant we were all kind of curious as to why the place was empty. No one was there but they were opened. We decided to go in and have a seat. Our server was so rude and was rushing all of us. We didn't even get a chance to look the menu even. All we kept saying was "hurry I need to put the order in for the kitchen" he was just very rude. The food was HORRIBLE, I don't even know how they can call that ramen. It tasted like dirty water and had no flavor at all. The bubble tea was way way too sweat and the whole experience was just bad. I couldn't finish my food, I felt sick immediately after and we did end up getting sick that night. The water pitchers they give at the table was dirty and just not clean. Please stay away from this restaurant if you don't want to get sick. (I didn't eat much out of this bowl, they don't serve you much food) read more

Fantastic meal at Royal Ramen, however service and cleanliness were lacking. We had the ramen, dumplings, and egg roll and everything was fantastic tasting, would prefer a little more soup in my dumplings but that's a matter of preference. I thought the ramen was put together well and included tons of noodles in a giant broth bowl. The egg rolls were smaller, flaky, with a mushy filling rather than a large crispy oil filled junk that most are used to. The complaints I had were I did happen to drop half my egg roll in the seat and when I went to grab it, my hand was greeted with the dust, dirt, and everything else that have been accumulating since inception. They also stored food in a commercial freezer in the front cash register area, which was a little off putting seeing how the food was stored. Also the service was a little slow. Would I eat here again, yes. Could there be some major improvements, yes. read more

Through my travels I try Ramen from many different restaurants. Royal ramen did not have tonkatsu ramen but did have pork ramen. The broth was thin and seems to be miso based. Not much flavor. Noodles were good. Good chew, and fresh. Wife had dumplings that were good but won't be a return must have place. read more

I was so excited to try this place while vacationing in Myrtle Beach! My little town doesn't have places like this. My family ordered several different ramen bowls, some boba, and a fruit tea; all of us were happy with ours and agreed that the others' tasted great too! We had an appetizer that I forget what it was, but it had pork in it, we all loved them! The service was great; we were walked through the menu and all of our questions were answered about the menu items we considered. We got some prepackaged Japanese cheesecake to go also. I was pretty impressed with it even though it wasn't made in shop. I was a little sad that one of the to-go bowls of ramen leaked on our way back to the hotel, but aside from that, everything was great! read more

This is a must eat noodle shop, the owner of the shop was very hospitable to me and my wife. The mango smoothie is amazing and also the abc Ramen bowel. It is a 10/10 spot and I can't wait to go back there the next time me and the wife visits mrytle beach!!! read more

My husband and I love ramen, so naturally when this place opened up we had to give it a try. As locals of the area Myrtle is greatly lacking quality Asian food and this place was awesome. We had the soup dumplings which are my favorite and they were spot on. I also had the chicken ramen & my husband had the beef. The beef broth was far better than the chicken broth but all in all it was delicious. I have had very good ramen in NYC, this was comparable but the ramen in NYC is infinity less expensive in China Town. Only downside is that it's a little pricey. read more

We are huge ramen people and try to visit a place wherever we go. I made the mistake of not checking the reviews first. Do not eat here. I found multiple flies in my soup and am being plagued with the after taste of dirty dish washer. My husband and I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Miso Ramen. The noodles were spaghetti, the broth tasted watered down and the pork was thinly sliced and over cooked. I did not bring up any complaints to staff so I cannot comment on their reaction but the guy who took our orders was professional and took our order without fuss. The place was pretty much empty and I can see why. read more

Ordered some food to go as soup dumplings are generally hard to find. These were so good and hit the spot. We also had the spicy wonton and siu mai that were excellent! This place should not have the word "ramen" in its name, because it is a far cry from being a decent ramen restaurant. We tried the miso ramen and the abc ramen; both broths were bland and tasteless, and the noodles were overcooked & similar to the dry instant noodles that u can find in Asian stores. There were only a few thin slices of meat and half an egg in the ramen bowls; definitely not worth $14. The only way we could finish our noodles was by adding chili sauce to up the taste. The wontons were better, but the spicy sauce they came in was just ok. Our first time will also be our last. read more
