I ordered the spicy brother with pork belly and rice noodles. I thought this was excellent. The cheese wontons were also pretty good, my only criticism there would be sweating the onions before adding them. I love onions, raw gives me heartburn but I also find it can over power flavors. Ive been going to Spice C for years. I've always be satisfied until recently. I ordered the potstickers yesterday for takeout. A few hours later after finishing my food I started to projectile vomit. I was tired and it had been a long day on the road. I wanted seafood, but my first choice of restaurant didn't interest my DH. He selected Spice C instead and I acquiesced (pouting all the way). Spice C was in a corner of an unassuming strip mall. When we arrived, it was sparsely populated and I was prepared to loathe the experience. I've never been happier to have been so wrong. Our server was bubbly and pleasant while explaining the menu and offerings. I chose spring rolls to start with a Seafood Drunken Noodle entree; DH had the Teriyaki Beef. The Spring Rolls arrived sizzling and full of crunchy veg. Their Drunken Noodles were slightly salty, but the melange of flavors worked well. My DH's praise for the Teriyaki Beef was just effusive. 4.5. Nice noodle shop for Americanized strip mall style eats. It's not Taipei street food, but then we're not in Taipei. I didn't find that the spicy Schezuan beef sauce was all that spicy. Nothing a splash of chili oil couldn't fix. It was as good a ramen as most. The menu is vastly fusion and multi-cultural which is probably good for the clientele but not so great for authenticity. That said, for a nice bowl of noodles at a touch high price - they'll do fine. If you don't know what beef tripe is, don't order that before you find out. If you do want some, this shop has it and knows how to cook it. I like ramen (wheat) and rice noodles. Not a fan of Udon and "Gummy" noodles. You can order you soup with whichever you prefer. Just know "soup" has broth, don't order soup if you want pad Thai or stir fry. Also, the serving is huge! read more
