The new(ish) remodel looks wonderful. What an ambiance change! They were very busy for lunchtime on a Tuesday. Service was solid - no mistakes. The food we ordered was tremendous. We started with Fried Pork spring rolls. An order of fresh summer rolls (they have the best peanut sauce). The main courses were Double Pan fried noodles with beef and Bun Bo Hue soup (beef). My daughter brought me here after having some delicious curry last week. We tried the shrimp summer rolls and they were freshly prepared and soft and crunchy in all the right places. The panang chicken curry was tasty but we barely had any sauce. My daughter had the same dish last week and remarked how different it was tonight but still delicious. The banh mi was fantastic! Even the fries that came with it were crisped to perfection! The Thai iced tea was strong and creamy. Our waitress was very attentive and our drinks were constantly refilled. The restaurant is good but the food is over priced. I ordered spicy noodles regular is $15.99 and large is $18and the large looks like regular and they don't give enough food. It's basically paying for the large bowl and extra soup-not enough noodles. The restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated , parking can be a little tight . The location seems to small for being such a great restaurant. We came here thinking it was the old vietnamese restaurant ran by a father and son duo. They made amazing Pho and would sell out daily. We were pleasantly surprised at the new decor. Looks like it was purchased by new owners and the interior revamp. They had great looking silverware and the plates and cups were very nice with gold rims. Now maybe because of that the price transfer to the menu. We are from Charlotte so 20 dollars for a bowl of pho was exceptionally high. Ours are generally around 15 dollars for a pho dac biet. The kicker was it was a small bowl too. My wife is 5 feet and weights a little over 100lbs and was still hungry after we left. I read so many a couple reviews with people saying the pho was the most authentic in the myrtle beach area. To me it lacked the beefy nice, fat and aroma of spice of traditional pho. This place is more of a Viet/Thai fusion. My son had the pork chop rice plate and he enjoyed it. It came with a bowl of soup and a fried egg. For me and my wife we came hungry and left hungry spending over 100 dollars for 2 adults and 2 10 year old. For the price i would expect big portion or big flavors we didn't get neither. I'm one of those people who eats 6 times a day, but each time it's a very small portion & I want what I eat to be fresh, clean, light and as full of goodness as possible. The Summer Rolls here check all those boxes. They are insanely good. My friends love the soup here, the fried rice dishes and the Pad Thai. Order as hot (or not) as you'd like - ask for the little pots of add ins so you make it hotter if you want, you can always add, but you can't take it away is what I always say. Lemongrass is one of a bit of a local "chain" in the area - I think by now they have 3 or 4 locations & they all have different names. Many more servers with more attention to service. Our water glasses were refilled quickly. We were checked on multiple times. When we ordered more food mid meal it was taken care of quickly. Was really hopping when we visited. People traveled all the way from Murrell's inlet. And we are from over 600 miles away--. To eat their food. Very popular restaurant! The Pho is traditional, authentic Pho. The Beef pho is rated as the Best authentic Pho of all the restaurants we have been to by the kids--Who are Pho Fanatics. High praise. They had Pho tai. And pho Dac biet. One kid got seconds. 10/5. Rich, well seasoned, good umami but not too thick. The broth here is their gold standard when they compare Pho places. Lots of vegetables bean sprouts and peppers and lemon. Bun thit cha gio 5/5. Modest portions. large menu now. Mostly Thai food. Staff said same chef. The food was amazing. My husband and I shared the Som Tum Lao papaya salad (we chose 8/10 spicy, so good but I can't imagine having 10/10!), and the pork spring rolls (excellent but on the small side for the price). My husband had the pho combo (everything but the kitchen sink) and says it's the best pho he has had. I had the Basil Eggplant Chicken, very good and a large portion, enough to take home for lunch tomorrow. The ambiance was calming, nice low Christmas music in the background. The service was very friendly but I have to say they were a bit slow in taking our order. The food coming out quickly made up for it. They don't have their liquor license yet, they are hoping it comes through this month. Note they do charge 3% if you use your credit card, so plan accordingly. We will definitely go back, the menu is extensive and there are many more items we want to try. Alas, no pictures, we dug into the food immediately! read more

Great service, ambiance and food. Today I had the rare steak Pho. Best I've had in MB. The broth had all the depth of flavors. Two of us had Pad Thai and said it was very good.
