The food was very good but extremely small for the price. Service was excellent. The restaurant was spotless.

The restaurant is good but the food is over priced. I ordered spicy noodles regular is $15.99 and large is $18and the large looks like regular and they don't give enough food. It's basically paying for the large bowl and extra soup-not enough noodles. I also ordered the summer rolls and they changed $8.99 and anywhere else charges $4.99-$5.99 Don't go there and save the money go somewhere else for Asian food

New incarnation of the Saigon Cafe of Myrtle Beach. Same location. Beautiful new interior and exterior. Lovely mood lighting. Fancier flatware and prettier table decorations. Many more servers with more attention to service. Our water glasses were refilled quickly. We were checked on multiple times. When we ordered more food mid meal it was taken care of quickly. Was really hopping when we visited. People traveled all the way from Murrell's inlet. And we are from over 600 miles away--. To eat their food. Very popular restaurant! The Pho is traditional, authentic Pho. The Beef pho is rated as the Best authentic Pho of all the restaurants we have been to by the kids--Who are Pho Fanatics. High praise. They had Pho tai. And pho Dac biet. One kid got seconds. 10/5. Rich, well seasoned, good umami but not too thick. The broth here is their gold standard when they compare Pho places. Lots of vegetables bean sprouts and peppers and lemon. Bun thit cha gio 5/5. Modest portions. large menu now. Mostly Thai food. Staff said same chef. We did not get the Thai portion of the menu but will in the future. Highly recommend the Pho It's still the bomb in spite of the fancy surroundings.

This restaurant has all the ingredients for a perfect meal. The food is well seasoned, tastes amazing, the portions are ideal, and the service is great. We eat here as often as we can!

Best authentic Pho in Myrtle Beach. We've been to other places that people recommended but hands down this is the best.

Our new place for Pho and papaya salad. The broth was very good with a slight sweetness. Very nice atmosphere and great staff.

Apparently, if you want to order the happy hour food specials, you're required to sit at the bar. If you're at a regular table--even if there are plenty open--you're out of luck. This policy makes zero sense from a customer standpoint. Not everyone wants to squeeze into a bar seat just to get a discounted appetizer. Some people come with friends, family, or kids and would prefer to sit at a table and actually relax. For a restaurant that has the space, it feels unnecessarily restrictive and honestly a little unwelcoming. It also puts the staff in an awkward position because they have to constantly explain the rule to confused customers. A good happy hour should make people want to stay longer and order more, not make them feel like they're being forced into a specific seat just to participate. BBQ is supposed to be casual and hospitable. Unfortunately, this place managed to make it feel oddly rigid and inconvenient. There are plenty of other spots that manage happy hour without making customers jump through hoops.

I would not recommend this location based on our experience…read more We were told the wait would be 45 minutes, and while we were eventually seated, everything after that went downhill. We placed our full order quickly, including two waters and a fish bowl. One water arrived with half‑melted ice and tasted like watered‑down, old Sprite. The fish bowl never arrived. It took about 30 minutes just to get our server's attention again to request another water and ask about the missing drink. Our appetizer came out with no plates or utensils. Then we waited an hour for food. Some tables around us received their meals while others didn't, even though it was a Tuesday around 2 p.m. and the restaurant wasn't busy. We finally asked to just pay for the appetizer and drinks. The manager was polite and comped the bill, saying our food was "just being plated." Another 15 minutes passed with nothing. When we finally received our food to go, it was obvious it had been rushed. My 6‑year‑old's kids' burger was raw and cold in the middle, which is completely unsafe. Between the long waits, inconsistent service, questionable drinks, and undercooked food--especially for a child--I cannot recommend this location.

I ordered the carnitas tacos, and they were flavorful, came as a set of three, and each had double tortillas, which I liked. I had a really disappointing experience at Mellow Mushroom (1571 21st Ave N)…read more I usually order to-go because the last time I sat at the bar, my food came out cold. I decided to give them another chance and dine in this time, but unfortunately, it was even worse. When I walked in, the young woman at the front (blonde, curly hair) was in a heated conversation on her cell phone. I waved to get her attention, and she rolled her eyes at me. She continued pacing back and forth, in and out of the kitchen, while finishing her call before finally helping me. When she approached, she pushed the menu toward me with an obvious attitude. I told her I already knew what I wanted: a large pizza with vegan cheese, which I've ordered there many times before. She immediately responded that they "don't have vegan pizzas." I explained that I order it regularly and would like a large pie with vegan cheese. She repeated, again with attitude, that they don't have it. I clarified that I wanted to build my own with vegan cheese -- which is what I was trying to say from the beginning. She then rudely took the order, walked away, and yelled back, "And what to drink?" At that point, after being treated so poorly, I declined a drink. I stepped away to the restroom and decided it was best to just leave altogether. The service was so unwelcoming and disrespectful that I didn't feel comfortable staying. Sadly, this explains why the bar area often seems empty. Customer service makes all the difference, and this experience completely missed the mark.

I also tried a small hamburger and artichoke pizza, and it was excellent. The crust had that classic Mellow Mushroom texture--crispy on the outside, soft inside--and the combo of savory beef with avocado worked really well without being heavy. Service was friendly and the laid-back vibe made it an easy place to enjoy a relaxed meal. Solid food, consistent quality, and a menu that gives you good options whether you're in the mood for wings or pizza. I'll definitely be back.
