We have been coming to MB for many years and a few years ago I noticed this gem. So of course I bookmarked and was finally able to try it on our last trip. I decided to do an in store order and carry out due to it being late and the family was tired. The ambiance is very nice and calming. Nothing too overwhelming or hectic like some restaurants. The food is prepared fresh so get ready for a little wait time. I was deciding between pho and a noodle bowl salad. I opted for the noodle bowl, summer rolls and Vietnamese coffee. Not a fan of peanut sauce so I asked for sweet Thai chili sauce for my summer rolls instead. I ordered the noodle bowl with grilled shrimp and it was very fresh and filling. I had a lot left over. The summer rolls weren't bad and the Vietnamese coffee was good but wasn't strong enough. I think I have become immune to caffeine lol. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely will be back. My family and I came here after a long trip from VA. Hungry and eager for Vietnamese cuisine; we decided to come here. Boy, were we disappointed. First off, we were not greeted at the door, and no one came by to give us menus for a while. 0 stars for customer service. The food does not taste authentically Vietnamese (trust me my family is Viet) and they messed up on 2 of our orders. We ordered egg noodle with the bo kho but it came out with pho noodles. My dish was supposed to be banh canh but they gave me hieu tieu. At that point we were too famished to make a fuss about it. The food was way too overpriced too. read more

I would never go back here again, for a few reasons, but mainly the service. You get better service from going to a McDonalds in a college town at 12 AM. The first failure on their end was that we were first in line for opening with a party of 18 or so. We weren't seated first, for one. That wouldn't be too bad but they tables we were sitting at was sticky. You just opened and you got sticky tables, that's wild. Two is that they seated and took the order of EVERY other party in line after us before they took our order. Other tables had ate and left before we ever got to take our order. They have gratuity for large party size, so they were getting paid anyways, so why bother giving service, huh? We had to chase down our servers and repeatedly ask for the most basic of things like water, utensils, or soup condiments. Three is that they didn't even bring our plates out for us, they left it on the counter. For those of us who did get our plates, they would forget to bring parts of the dishes. They only brought one of the vegetable plates that accompany a pho dish. We ordered well over 7 pho and you're telling me we only get one vegetable plate? Ridiculous. All the other ones vegetables plates they had due were prepped and ready on a counter. They just didn't bother to bring it. The food was regular Viet affair, nothing standout. This restaurant is large in size with tons of seating. We were quickly seated and helped. The staff is friendly and provided some suggestions. The menu is extensive so I appreciated the input. I went with a shrimp fresh roll and the chicken soup. The spring roll was tasty but loosely rolled. It didn't impact the delicious flavor but made it harder to eat as it kind of fell apart about halfway through. The soup as loaded with flavor! It was a perfect hint on the rainy day. The most basic dish is the summer fresh roll. I grew up eating this with my coworkers that were from Vietnam. This restaurant makes the crappiest version of this ever. And the peanut sauce is liquid. Only recommendation would be to include more lime wedges and vegetables (such as Thai basil and mint). They were out of these apparently. Rice was light and fluffy. I never thought I'd say this, but it crazily had, almost, too much/many proteins. I know. What?! But every spoonful had a shrimp or hunk of pork or chicken or cat/dog (joke), from first bite to last. I was struggling to finish the last 4 bites. My son was chanting, Go Go Go! He asked how full my tummy was, and did I think I should try to finish it? I sang out to him, "My mind's tellin' me noooooooo, but my body, my body's tellin' me yesssss!" I finished it all. If you love Vietnamese food or Asian noodle bowls, Pho Claire is worth trying in Myrtle Beach. After roaming around Broadway by the Beach, my wife was craving for Vietnamese, so went here because it's the closest one. Our first impression from lookin at their menu is it's pretty expensive, so we expected the bowls to be larger. She ordered the pho deluxe, which is around $18. We initially planned to share it but after getting that order, we figured that's not enough for bothbof us, so I ordered a noodle soup with the pork, shrimp, garlic, and other veggies. Our waiter was a gentle young man who has provided quality customer service. The venue looks pleasant and spacious, open but sometimes it felt like were being watched by the employees standing near the register. Nonetheless, venue is good. Our orders arrived fast - as expected from most pho restaurants.The soups are already made; they just have to put together the ingredients. Both our orders have fresh ingredients. Pho Deluxe is all you can ask for in a quality beef pho. There's a lot of noodles and meat. My wife did not even finish all because of the amount. For the price, seems quite fair but I've seen larger bowls for cheaper price. My noodle soup is deliciously healthy. Thin strips of pork are cooked well. Good amount of noodles, which I mixed with Hoisin sauce and Siracha. The garlic and green onions add excellent flavor, and the vegetables are fresh. We ordered Summer Rolls for $8 (2 pieces). Peanut sauce is good but overpriced when most Viet spots offer same quality for $5 to $6. We just had water but they offer bubble tea and Vietnamese coffee. I would have ordered Thai tea but they didn't have, which is fine since this is not a Thai restaurant. A bit above average than a typical Vietnam pho restaurant but also pricier, which is expected from around this area. Nonetheless, still a better option than the overpriced restaurants inside Broadway. If you're looking for quality Asian or pho foods near Broadway, it's definitely worth a quick drive. read more

Customer service is good. Food is terrible. Egg roll are ok but too salty. Don't get anything with pork meat. Meat (with the rice) was precook precooked, when they reheated it, it was chewy and dry, not the traditional Vietnamese meat. Same as the pork for (bún thịt nướng). read more
