I tried this place based off of a friend's suggestion, and I was not disappointed. The pork soup dumplings are amazing with chili oil, and the staff is very kind. I ended up coming back the next day for more soup dumplings/milk tea as they were quite good. It is a bit of a smaller joint, but its clean and nice inside. Both the times I went I was the only one there - this place needs more love! If you are in the area I would certainly check this place out. read more

Please I beg you be very cautious before coming here. I took my family here and we should have taken the place being completely empty at a prime time as a massive hint, but we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and the food made us all sick. The chicken ramen wasn't even edible and the pork ramen wasn't anything great, we have definitely had better every where else. Also we were charged $2.50 per pitcher of water that they give you without even asking, if we were asked none of us would have ordered water anyways. The ramen aficionados complaining about the taste, the noodles or this and that need a reality check. It's freaking Myrtle Beach it's not exactly Shinjuku over here. For this place and for what it is, it's pretty decent. Have I had better, well yeah, but this was decent for here. Crapping all over the place won't do any good to help the Asian food scene here either. 4 stars for trying. We got the roast pork ramen which was okay overall (the roasted pork slices in it were really good!) and the milk boba tea was alright enough to make me give this place 4 stars, but the spicy wontons and juicy pork dumplings were what made me rate it 5 shining stars. I am actually not a big fan of dumplings unless I'm eating traditional dim sum, but this place would seriously have me coming back for them every week if I lived in the area. We're gonna stop by again for some more before we leave Myrtle Beach tomorrow. I think we'll also try out the one or two of the pancake options... EDIT: We went back and tried the pork pancakes, potstickers, and fish dumplings. They were all good, so I can only say that the fish dumpling was my least favorite. That's probably just because they were a type of boiled dumpling and could not compare (in my opinion) to the yummy crispiness of the other two. Also, apparently they're all handmade?? We laughed at the reviews and decided to try it because it seemed odd The food was good. Broth was very savory. My only complaint is that the noodles are very thin, something I'm not really used to. This was my first visit to the new Royal Ramen restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The restaurant was very open and clean and I was greeted immediately and seated. I ordered the roast pork Ramen which was served to me within about 5 to 7 minutes of my arrival. The dish was very hot and the miso broth was well flavored. My only complaint is that there were only two slices of roast pork in the dish. The pork was tender and tasty but just not enough of it. The dish also included a boiled egg which was hot and tasty. This is a new restaurant and I know they are having some start up issues with quality. I will be back to support them as I love Ramen noodles and I want them to be successful. read more

This place has a lot of potential! Very much enjoyed the ABC ramen bowl, the broth was very flavorful and wasn't overpowering or underwhelming it was a perfect middle. The beef ribs in the ramen were average in my bowl, not a favorite for me but anyone who enjoys beef ramen wold enjoy it however the two others I was with got a bit fattier pieces of beef. The fat definitely adds flavor to the broth but isn't the greatest texture when eating the meat itself. The chicken in the ramen is a breaded chicken with unique seasoning and still a bit of crunch having sat in the ramen broth. Me and another with me would definitely get the chicken ramen again WHEN we come back despite how irregular the idea of breading the chicken is. The pork was a favorite of the third person I went with because it's layered with just enough fat to meat ratio and being pork the fat is a lot more common to eat. We also got an order of steamed pork dumplings and my were they flavorful. Dipped in soy sauce they were savory and delicious. This place was great and with a bit of fixing of extraneous inconveniences this would be the best ramen place in town read more

We ate here several times. The restaurant is new, clean, and conveniently located on the corner of the building. Our waitress Max (Zeing) was helpful and recommended the Spicy Wonton (delicious!). My wife had the Beef Ramen/noodles (at least twice) and enjoyed it. We will return again. This is good food served reasonably fast. They do cook each meal so we waited a little. read more

The ramen is very good. The hallmark of good ramen is a rich delicious meat broth that comes from hours of simmering meat and soup bones. This part they did very well for the roasted pork and pork ribs ramen. These were the ones we tried. The dumplings were so-so, probably frozen reheated. The filling for the 3 flavor was pretty tasty. The pork dumpling was flavorless, so ask for some spicy sauce packets to add on your own. The cashier spoke almost no English but took our order correctly and was very pleasant. Having spent the past five months in Japan, I thought that the ramen here was good but didn't quite measure up. I got the vegetarian ramen and it had very nice flavor, which is hard to find in meat-free ramen. The noodles were, as another reviewer mentioned, a bit tough and not quite...noodle-y enough. The dumplings here are exceptional, though, some of the best I've ever had. Tasty! I ordered the chicken ramen and friend had the "tender rib ramen". What we liked.... the broth was well seasoned and not too salty. The boiled egg was fresh and well made. What we didn't like.... the noodles taste just like the dried noodles you'd get at Publix and drop into boiling water. If you're going to specialize in Ramen noodles, at least make them homemade! The chicken in my ramen noodles was slices of breaded and fried chicken. Weird. The ribs in my bf's was too fatty to eat. He said it's good to add flavor to the broth but he didn't care to eat the meat itself. SO! Owners of this restaurant, you have got great potential! So I am an enormous Ramen fan... we are from the DMV where I guess we are spoiled by the quality... upon initial appearance I became excited to try this. Very "authentic" looking, judging by the staff and the atmosphere. The service was very friendly for carryout. The guy at the front was very nice and helpful, describing the pork ramen as normal "tonkatsu". They also do not have garlic as an addition. We ordered two portions to go, egg rolls, pork dumplings and steamed veggies. Upon getting home, I realized our bag of goodies was almost one complete meal because the bag was so overpacked that BOTH lids cracked. Mind you, I carried this bag like it was my child, so I am so confused as to how this happened... One of our ramens was salvageable, the other was trash. If you like real ramen, you will not like this place. It was really, really bad. The pork dumplings were actually not bad at all, but the egg rolls were inedible. DO NOT eat here! I was on vacation with my family and we wanted to find a place to eat for lunch. so we stopped there. The moment we walked in the place had an unpleasant smell to it. Before I eat at any restaurant I alway check out the bathrooms to make sure they are clean and they are stocked with hand soap. If not that is a game changer for me. This bathroom was not only filthy but it smelled moldy and it had soap dispensers that were moldy and the soap had been watered down. I have a problem with that as the employees are probably not washing their hands. As soon as I left the bathroom we left immediately. read more

We ordered the juicy soup dumplings, 3 ingredients dumplings and the tomato egg noodle. The food came really fast. The meat inside the juicy soup dumplings was RAW. The 3 ingredients dumplings was still cold. The tomato egg noodle dish was an egg thrown on top of some spicy noodles. I would not recommend coming here. We ordered 3 different ramen noodle soups. All of them had the same soup base which was very disappointed. It definitely has miso paste in all the soup, even though we didn't order miso soup. It's just how they make the soup base. The noodle itself tasted old and overcooked. It tasted like Angel Hair noodles. We also order the Juice Dumplings for appetizer. The dumplings shell was thick and dry. The dumpling filling was okay. Customer service was okay, better than typical Chinese customer service. We absolutely LOVED our meals here! We had the beef and chicken ramen, both of which had their own unique flavors. Our favorite thing here was the steamed pork dumplings. They were the best we have ever had. We also tried the egg rolls - which were smaller than expected but packed a lot of flavor. The brown sugar bobo tea was a perfect dessert ending for me. Sweet and silky finish. My only negative would be that we went on a weekday and only the owner was there working so we felt the pressure of him running the place by himself. It slowed things down a bit. He certainly did his best considering the situation. I took that into consideration with Covid and didn't want it to affect my rating for the delicious food.
