After seeing the various social reels and posts about this place, I decided to check out the hype and stop by the Wicked Bread Co. across town during our stay in Hollywood, Florida back in January. Located in a bit of a secluded area of Plantation right off the eastbound side of I-595, Wicked Bread is nested in the discreet Turtle Run Plaza of the Jacaranda community (if you are indeed comimg from the interstate you might have to whip a U-y at New River Canal Road to get to the entrance closes to Wicked). As you walk into Wicked Bread, you will immediately encounter the spooky/Witch motif and decor that gives playful homage to the name of the bakery. It definitely offers an alternative antique shoppe type of feel as you peruse the art that line the walls of the bakery. The staff were friendly and inviting, offering advice where needed. However, I was there with a purpose - which was to dive head first into this famous cinnamon bread (for transparency, I actually did not realize this is what the place specialized in and was known for, and came to the realization after reviewing the location once we were in the area). At the recommendation of one of the bakers/staff, I went with the original and picked up some empanadas to go. We could have went without the empanadas (they were ok), but the OG cinnamon bread slaps. It was extremely decadent and rich. Sure, you can use utensils to dissect the specimen as it sits in its aluminum bed like a proper individual - but the soft, tender bread beckons you to tear through it with your hands. Needless to say, napkins are a must. We did not end up using the cream cheese/frosting dip as it was already perfect the way it was. Going back to the flavor, the original contained the perfect blend of cinnamon to bread ratio. Each piece was buttery and a joy to chew into. We ended up savoring the bread through to the next day. Will definitely come here again next time we are in the area - looking at the bacon one next time. Definitely recommend to anyone passing through to stop by!
I finally checked out Wicked Bread Company, and I'm honestly mad I didn't come sooner. My wife had tried them before when they were popping up at the Yellow Green Market, so when they opened a brick-and-mortar location, it was a must-visit for me. From the moment you walk in, the space fully commits to the Wicked Bread theme--dark, edgy, and fun without feeling overdone. The ambiance matches the brand perfectly. Service was super friendly and welcoming, which always sets the tone. I ordered two of the original cinnamon breads, and wow. Absolutely phenomenal. It's the perfect hybrid of cinnamon bread and cinnamon roll--soft, rich, perfectly spiced, and indulgent without being overwhelming. Hands down the best cinnamon bread/cinnamon roll combo I've ever had in my life. Everything hits: great food, great service, and a vibe that works. I'll definitely be back for more. If you're in South Florida and love cinnamon bread, this is the spot. 10/10. Highly recommend. Best cinnamon bread in South Florida.
Drove 66 miles round trip to go to this place BECAUSE several people said it was better than any Cinnabun. IMO only the top was moist, the rest was like plain bread. By the time we got home, the icing was hardening. Cinnabun blows away their Cinnabun loaf. We also ordered two empanadas which were a Spinach one and a pizza one. The receipt said a chicken and a pizza one and when we got home we had a pizza one and a Chorizo one. We don't eat pork so it went in the garbage being we weren't driving 66 miles RT for the right empanada. Only thing that was really good was the ice latte they made us.
I'd been wanting to try their famous cinnamon roll ($9.95) for a while, and to be honest, I didn't think it was all that great, besides being super overpriced. I also bought empanadas ($3.75), and those were really tasty. Service was quick because the store wasn't super crowded. But what's really cool about the place is the whole atmosphere decorated as if it were Halloween every day, even the bathroom.
Wicked Bread Co has their own location in Plantation and I'm so happy I finally got to give them a visit. It was that time of year and I really wanted to get into the Halloween spirit and was craving something sweet so I decided to venture out and find Wicked Bread. Their location is so cool with decor that is photo worthy and cinnamon bread that can change anyone's mind that doesn't like cinnamon (AKA me). I'm not a cinnamon fan but have heard so many great things about Wicked Bread so I wanted to try it out. I got their classic cinnamon bread and it did not disappoint. It was ooey & gooey & warm, it felt like it came fresh out of the oven! I had to get some photos of it and try a bite while there and it was delicious. I also saw they had some drinks on their menu so of course I had to get a matcha. I got the Berry Terrifier which is an iced matcha latte with strawberry cold foam. It was so good and loved the cold foam! If you're looking for a sweet treat and some bites or a drink, definitely stop by this local spot!
I am obsessed! Imagine biting into the most pillowy, soft, cinnamon-y milk bread that you have ever tasted! Wicked Bread is definitely a local gem that you must try! You can get different toppings in it. I opt in for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch, since you can never have too much cinnamon. The service is also amazing, and pretty fast. You can also find regulars coming in as well. I also love the decor of this place, it's like Halloween year round. Very spooky and sweet vibes!
I've waited a long time to finally try this place and it is AMAZING! It's $9.99 for a cinnamon bread loaf that tastes delicious. It was served warm. I requested the frosting on the side so I could drizzle it on myself. It looks like you get more frosting if they apply it for you, however the side cup of frosting was plenty for me. The bread is so cinnamony that you can smell cinnamon outside! The loaf is the perfect amount of moistness and isn't raw gooey dough like some famous cinnamon bun restaurants. The frosting tastes like it had butter in it. Staff is super friendly and efficient. There is indoor seating. The decor is a lot of fun to look at. Parking is easy in the attached lot. This place is worth the hype!!
The place was nice and clean. I ordered the maple bacon bread. It was hot and tasted fresh however, it was drenched in syrup and bacon in which I almost did not see the bread when cutting a piece. It has a lot of cinnamon too much firmly liking but my man loved it :) everyone super nice and service was fast.
I've been to Wicked Bread Co multiple times at this point and I've always enjoyed my time there and the items I have gotten, first thing I ever tried was the Smack My Ass And Call Me Cinn-dy bread which I have had many times since and it still never disappoints, flavorful and always soft on the inside, heats up beautifully, love the addition of the cinnamon toast crunch topping which doesn't get stale and adds a nice crisp to the bread, writing this review, I find myself CRAVING it now! Yum Since then I've tried their iced coffees ( can't recall which ones) but they have always been really good, can't really go wrong, on our most recent trip they were having their scream items for the upcoming 7th installments release, can I just say I love that! As a fellow horror movie lover I appreciate this so much! I'm so happy to have this place close by, we also learned they will be having another release of specialty items/coffee for the brides release, so much fun and we will definitely be back for that We purchased the Brownie, Rice Crispy and the Ghostface Chilla and let me just say I was In LOVE with that drink! it's a lavender, white chocolate mocha latte with Marshmallow cold foam, I've never had lavender in my latte before so I was a little apprehensive but it was so tasty and refreshing and would 100% recommend, my husband isn't a coffee drinker and even he really enjoyed it, the rice crispy was a great addition to have a few bites while drinking the latte, sweet but delish, and the brownie was also nice, for the first time had the the ham and cheese, Chorizo empanadas, both were also spot on with great flavor on the inside The atmosphere and decor here is great, it's very detailed, I love the spooky town they have on display, such a great touch and of course the cauldron with the icing, I really enjoy places that have a fun theme and nice service, cheers to many more years Wicked Bread Co, so grateful to have you apart of the plantation community
Wicked good! I ordered a classic in cinnamon loaf, pumpkin muffin, and ham and cheese empanada. The cinnamon bread is really delicious! I would recommend pouring the icing on top while it's warm and fresh. It's cute- they pour it out of a little cauldron. It seems like the bread itself is plain and the cinnamon comes from the topping around it (so it's not mixed into the dough itself). The empanada was solid with diced pieces of ham and melted cheese. The pumpkin muffin was also good and not too sweet or overly spiced, which I appreciate, but had a good flavor of pumpkin. I just wish they had more bread! Service is great! I was immediately greeted when I walked in. Everyone was patient while I decided what I wanted and answered all of my questions. The ambiance is super spooky. While I visited during spooky season, I believe it looks like this year-round. I visited around 8:30am on a Thursday and there was no wait. I saw people walking in and out before I made my way inside, but it wasn't ever full. If you're in the area I would recommend stopping in for a sweet treat and to check out the festive decor!
Wicked Bread is a hidden little nook with a full spooky vibe. They have a cozy seating area, & no matter where you look, there's something fun and eerie to catch your eye. The lattes have playful spooky names, which is such a clever touch. We tried the cinnamon bread and the frozen chocolate-covered Key Lime Pie on a stick, and both were absolutely delicious! The staff was lovely & I'll definitely be back to explore more of their wickedly creative treats.
Without a doubt the most amazing cinnamon confection I have ever had in my life!!!!! Came here on a whim after a blood test as a reward (lol) and am now going to be addicted. Such a fun ambiance and the smell of cinnamon wafting into the parking lot is a dopamine hit in itself. Stay wicked!! Service was also exceptional!
TLDR - Super fun spot, love the decor and the breads are delish! Mommy daughter date today and we decided to check out Wicked Bread Co. In Plantation! Easy to get to, plenty of parking, great storefront and the decor is so fun! First off, great customer service, super friendly greeting upon walking in...the place was buzzing with people, not a huge spot but definitely quaint. We ordered first and had our eye on a couple sitting in a little lounge area that were about to leave, so once they did we grabbed those seats. My both ordered iced Lattes with Oatmilk...mine plus mocha syrup. We ordered three bread loaves: Camp Crumble Lake (Seasonal) - so good!!! Black Magic - so good!!! Smack Mt Ass and Call Me Cinn-dy (dropped this one off at my son's job since he had to work today) It was impossible to finish an entire loaf, which is divided into 3 thick slices...we took what we couldn't finish home and will definitely be saving for later (they have reheating instructions on their website). Picture a scoop of cold ice cream with a warmed up slice of this bread...oh my goodness! I love that they have a special or seasonal loaf flavor...can't wait to see what they come up with next! We will definitely be back!

Wow! This place was worth the wait. Don't get turned off by the long lines that may be out the door. Wait in that line and get your bread. You won't regret it. For about $10, you get an ooey, gooey cinnamon treat. It is absolutely delicious. You have to eat it while it's hot and fresh. I stuck with the original cinnamon bread, but they do have other options to choose from. I highly recommend the original, though. I love the wicked theme going on. The decor is fun and whimsical. I can't wait to see it during the Halloween season. Although you may have a wait, the staff kept you informed with how long it would take for a fresh loaf, and they were very friendly and efficient, even with a line out the door. Five stars for the new darling of Plantation bakeries, Wicked Bread Co.! I first tried their cinnamon loaf at the Yellow Green Farmers Market (where they started out in 2020). I was so excited to see they were opening their first brick and mortar store in my neighborhood. I met my girlfriend here for my birthday, and the new storefront did not disappoint. We bought a cinnamon loaf and chose to top it with their signature cream-cheese icing. I also enjoyed a delicious iced vanilla latte that owner Eddie recommended. He was so hospitable and happy to show us his new store. It's decorated wicked cute! Their signature cinnamon loaf is most definitely a swoonworthy calorie splurge. We each ate a slice and saved the rest to take home to share with the family. Plenty to go around in one loaf! They are open six days a week and are still tweaking their hours. Check their social media or website for updated hours before going. For now, while they work to meet supply and demand, the early bird gets the Wicked Cinnamon Loaf before it runs out. read more

Yum, yum, yum! After a super exhausting day at work with the kiddos, I received a care package with this piece of heaven on earth in side. I made my friend a cappuccino and we sat there in silence in the classroom savoring every single bite. It is THAT good! It's one of the best desserts I've ever had. Been wanting to come here for a while, finally was in the area. When i came in, I was greeted warmly. I got there around 9:30am and was expecting to be hit with that fresh baked cinnamon bread smell but I wasn't. I ordered the loaf with the maple bacon on it, in which they give you a lot of. But it was super sweet so I picked most of mine off. The bread was warm and fluffy. If ever I'm in the area and in the mood. I'll probably just stick to a regular one. read more

The scent wafts through the air as you get closer to the door. Then you open the door...a wave of heavenly aroma. They are located in a small plaza with sufficient parking for when I went during a week day. However, I was advised the weekends are crazy so I would expect the parking lot to be the same. They have a cool funky decor to match their name and about three or four dine-in tables. The service was welcoming, friendly and helpful. They offer their cinnamon breads in different sizes and have a handful of flavor options. They also offer caffeinated and non caffeinated beverages. Went straight for the gusto...6 Degrees of Maple Bacon, wowza. Warm cinnamon bread loaf, topped with syrupy maple glaze and perfectly cooked maple bacon chunks/pieces. Holy cow! If you are even thinking about going here, you HAVE to do it. The cinnamon bread tastes like the old McDonalds cinna-melts. It is like heaven and childhood wrapped into one. Also tried the beef and the chicken empanadas - SO good! Guava and cheese pastry also delicious. Plain cheese pastry was good too, sweeter than I thought it would be. Went back in to grab the Blood Moon latte which had raspberry and white mocha in it. I was nervous for the flavor profile, it was GREAT! Don't hesitate to stop by! read more

What a great place to grab a fun sweet treat!!! The cinnamon bread is incredible and is so fresh!! Any way you get it from original to the peanut butter Oreo you will be fully satisfied!!! They also have empanadas that are great as well!! We got to meet the owner and hear how they came about. They have a really great origin story! Drove here based upon an IG posting. Selections and decor were fun yet eclectic. Definitely not for the faint hearted when it comes to sugar or gluten free. Didn't dive into selection due to lack of seating. Will update post when we try it. UPDATE: the Black Magic is awesome; the peanut butter drizzle with Oreo topping is on point. For anyone who loves Halloween, this is the place for you. It's beautifully decorated and just oh so fun. My daughter absolutely loved it and all the decorations kept her busy. The original cinnamon bread loaf with icing on the side was by far my favorite. I love cinnamon and it was perfect. If you get the icing on top for, my taste, it's way too sweet. The maple bacon loaf was good too but you can't eat a lot of it because of the sweetness. We had the ham and cheese empanadas and it was pretty much croqueta filling in an empanada... I'm not mad about out. Was delicious. We had ice lattes and they were good. They also helped balance the sweetness of the breads. All in all I thought it was really good. Could use a touch of variety but I'll go again once I recover from the sugar rush. read more

One of my coworkers came here once and was raving about the place and I am usually not a fan of cinnamon nor bread, down to the combo I usually don't seem to like it, but I decided to give it a shot and got one called "Black Magic" it's a cinnamon bread topped with a chocolate drizzle, peanut butter and crushed Oreos. Best cinnamon bread I have EVER had!! The service was quick, you can get the instant aroma of freshly baked bread. The decor brings me back to the Hocus Pocus original film. I couldn't love the place more. I highly recommend this place, it just opened and deserves the recognition for it. DEFINITELY RETURNING and trying MORE! read more

If you love Halloween and you love baked goods or one or the other, this is your place to be!! When you walk in, you are greeted with a waft of warmth and amazing smelling cinnamon bread. The decor is pretty epic. From traditional witches to Edgar Allen Poe and Beetlejuice. The movie references and gore are all over the place and it is great eye candy. The food is delicious. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Huge portions and great service. Go early if you hope to sit inside or just take something to go. It's a spooky great time. read more

I ordered the Black Magic and slap me and call me Cindy it was unreal. The flavor hit like a spell I didn't know I needed. Soft, buttery, perfectly seasoned, with just the right touch of wicked. I LOVED THIS PLACE !!!! the coffee was just right, the bread soft and delicious. The price for the coffee is $5 and the original bread $9. They had other styles for a bit more, I will be going back to try those! The girl at the register was extremely nice and knowledgeable .. i asked her for recs. The decor of the inside was great my daughters were frightened because of the witches and halloween ambiance ( at the end they loved it) . I did find it a bit hot inside the restaurant but overall not bad ! read more

The food is so fresh! Gone here on 2 occasions, never disappointed. The decore is so fun! And though it feels like not a lot of space to sit you always manager to find a corner to enjoy with your family. Planning on going again today, taking the whole family. Can't wait! read more
Adorable wicked place. If you're not into cinnamon buns, go for an empanada and coffee. The decor alone is worth the trip if you're in the area. I got a mini cinnamon loaf just for me since my husband hates cinnamon. It was delish! I also tried their pastelito de guayaba and we got 2 empanadas that were pretty good. They were out of 6 degrees of bacon which was disappointing. There was a long line because it just opened and is hot on TikTok. The bread was very fresh and good. Strong cinnamon taste. Not dying to go back but still a very enjoyable cinnamon bread. read more
